AN emotional foundling on Long Lost Family was stunned after learning a shocking family secret.
A foundling is a child whom is abandoned at birth with no obvious trace or connection to a set of birth parents.

Lisa Dyke, 55, was left in another baby's pram in Christchurch, Hampshire.
Although raised by loving adoptive parents, she had lingering questions about her origins.
However, Lisa was left stunned by what was ultimately revealed to her.
Lisa's parents had three other children - all full siblings to her.
In fact, she is the third-born child - and the only one to be left.
Lisa has an older brother and sister, Tim and Jen, as well as younger sister Lynn.
She told host Davina McCall: "I'm trying to process it.
"I feel like I've gone from having nobody to now having three full siblings. All very similar ages. "
Unfortunately, both of Lisa's birth parents had already passed away.
Taking to X, one viewer penned: "Goodness, how does anybody try and process that, I've no idea."

It's not the first time the ITV show has featured heartbreaking stories.

Three newborns abadoned by same parents
'Baby Elsa', named after the protagonist in Frozen, was found in sub-zero temperatures in Newham, east London.
She was believed to be less than an hour old when she was discovered by a dog walker, wrapped in a towel inside a reusable shopping bag with her umbilical cord still attached.
The Metropolitan Police suspect Elsa was born after a 'concealed pregnancy' - where a woman does not tell health professionals she is expecting.
DNA tests have since revealed Elsa has two siblings - a brother and a sister, who were abandoned in 2017 and 2019 respectively, within miles of where she was found.
The other babies, Harry and Roman, were discovered wrapped in blankets. They have both been adopted.
The parents of the three children are yet to be identified
At East London Family Court last week, Judge Carol Atkinson ruled the biological link between 'Elsa' and the other two children could be reported.
It was deemed of "great public interest" due to babies rarely being abandoned in modern Britain.
The trio are among five cases of children being abandoned at birth within the last four years in England and Wales.
In 2020, a baby was discovered in Hackney, east London, and another was found in Birmingham in 2021. Both of their mothers were tracked down several months later.
Having submitted his DNA to a database, the team found a first cousin, Martina, in Ireland.
But in a shock twist, it transpired that Martina, like Thomas, was also a foundling.
The two cousins met but ultimately continued their searches separately.

It's now been revealed by The Mirror that Bobby has departed the soap — though his exit isn't permanent, with the door left ajar for a possible comeback in the future. A source told the publication: 'Bobby has had a dramatic couple of years on the cobbles, but the time has come to bid farewell. Actor Jack enjoyed his time on the soap, but it's time to move on. 'Viewers won't see the character exit the street as he's already left, with Jack filming his final scenes some time ago. 'The door has been left open for Jack should he wish to come back to the show in the future. With his Aunty Carla there, Bobby will always have a place in Weatherfield.' MailOnline has contacted ITV for comment. His character was last seen in the soap in May when he headed off to Spain to visit Simon Barlow. It comes after Jack revealed how he landed his role on the ITV soap. He was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at 16 months old – the result of brain damage that happened either during or shortly after his birth, causing spastic diplegia, a disability affecting both of his legs. Speaking on This Morning with hosts Rylan Clark and Josie Gibson last year, the star revealed how he claimed the coveted role and how the soap portrays the condition. Jack said that Corrie was something he had wanted to do for a long time - and he was helped by having a 'couple of friends' on the writing staff. As the team already knew him well, they were able to create a character that was very personalised to him as they were already familiar with his sense of humour. He went on to discuss how cerebral palsy has been portrayed on the Cobbles and the 'smart' way the producers have explored it. He said: 'I think the way they've gone about doing it and portraying disabilities they've done it in a really smart way. 'It's a facet of the character and there's lots of other stuff going on. It shows him as a human being too which is really important to do.' Joining Corrie was a very surreal experience for Jack, who described starting as 'quite daunting' and said he has 'big blockbuster' storylines coming up. He continued: 'It's bizarre! Walking past all these sets. It's very very bizarre but I hope that never leaves me. 'It's a huge privilege and I'm lucky to be able to add it to the CV.' Cerebral palsy is a life-long condition that occurs when a baby's brain is starved of oxygen during or shortly after birth. In most cases, this is due to a difficult labour, but it can occur as a result of an infection of the brain or head injury. Those with the condition may experience difficulties with movement and co-ordination, as well as loss of speech, hearing and vision and spinal deformities, and may need lifelong care. Disability charity Scope says an estimated 1,800 children are diagnosed with cerebral palsy in the UK every year. In 2020-2021, 281 cases of preventable cerebral palsy were reported – the highest number since 2010 and a fifth of the ten-year total. At the age of 14, Jack came runner-up on Britain's Got Talent in 2013 to shadow theatre group Attraction. The standup comedian, who has also made an appearance on Saturday Night at the London Palladium, was a hit among the judges and viewers. Jack has also made an appearance on Jason Manford's Funny Old Week and Live At the Apollo as well as completing his first national live tour. His acting career kicked off shortly after his BGT stint as he has starred in the likes of the Ministry of Curious Stuff on CBBC, Trollied, Doctors and the role of Pete in the feature film Eaten By Lions. What is cerebral palsy? Cerebral palsy is the name for a set of conditions affecting movement and co-ordination stemming from a problem with the brain that takes place before, during or soon after birth. Symptoms are not typically obvious immediately after a child is born — but instead normally become noticeable after two or three years. They include delays in reaching development milestones, such as: Not sitting by eight months Not walking by 18 months Appearing too stiff or too floppy Walking on tip-toes Weak arms or legs Fidgety, jerky or clumsy movements Random, uncontrolled movements Difficulty speaking, swallowing or seeing — along with learning difficulties — can also be symptoms. Cerebral palsy symptoms can be caused by a number of things and are not necessarily an indication of the condition, which can occur if a child's brain does not develop normally while in the womb, or is damaged during or soon after birth. Causes include bleeding in the baby's brain, reduced blood and oxygen supply, infection caught by the mother while pregnant, asphyxiation during a difficult birth, meningitis or a serious head injury - though the precise cause is often not clear. There is no cure currently, but physiotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy and medication are often used as treatment. Each person living with the condition is affected in a different way, but generally speaking most children live into adult life and some can live for many decades.

Coronation Street's Summer Spellman actress Harriet Bibby has revealed all about the ITV soap's LSD storyline, while she teased to The Mirror 'big' scenes are on the way One Coronation Street star has promised "big" scenes ahead on the ITV soap in the coming months. Summer Spellman actress Harriet Bibby spoke exclusively to The Mirror about the upcoming storylines for her character. She also teased the 65th anniversary plans for later this year, and the big Emmerdale crossover airing in 2026. After months of not being onscreen much, Harriet explained to us that she was having a quieter year following the huge and emotional 2024 storyline, that saw Summer's father figure Paul Foreman die after battling motor neurone disease. Summer featured heavily in this storyline, with lots of difficult scenes for actress Harriet. Often in soaps when a character features in a massive storyline, they tend to then go quiet which is what has happened with Summer. But that's all about to change as next week, she takes centre stage once more. This time, Summer and other characters are caught up in a drugs storyline, as three characters take LSD at a house party. What follows is a dramatic and devastating sequence of events. Teasing more from Summer ahead, Harriet told us: "I've had a quieter year this year after the big storyline with Paul last year. It was brilliant, we loved doing it even though every day we were in tears. "We will be seeing more of Summer in the coming months." Harriet also teased the big stuff on the way, saying: "I'm really excited about the crossover. It's never been done before. It will be fun and a little different. "I am hoping to be a part of it but we have no idea. I'd love to meet the Dingles." When asked about the 65th, she said: "I'm the worst person to ask, everything you're asking me I'm asking the bosses! It will be something big though." As for the huge drugs storyline that is coming up, Harriet teased what the fallout will be with it clear something has happened, and that Summer and pal Nina Lucas have been witnesses to something while high. Revealing "the night takes a turn", she teased: "Even with no drugs in their system they'd be feeling really shocked, upset and concerned about what's just happened. "So times that by 10 with the LSD they've got in their system and they're distraught. They're really worried and really scared about what's just happened." Harriet went on: "They figure out that they've witnessed something. "They have different opinions on what to do with this and it causes a little bit of friction between them. Nina thinks they should tell someone and report it whereas Summer is more convinced that they don't know what they've seen because they were affected by the LSD so there's no point in reporting anything as they don't know for sure that something happened. "They're very confused by what they think they saw because they're unsure about what was reality and what was not." On the future impact of the huge plot, she shared: "I think when you find yourselves in quite dangerous situations, and it's not just Summer and Nina who are affected, you look back and think that was a really stupid idea. It affects a lot of different people in different ways and it could have been avoided if these drugs were not at the party."
