The Met Gala 2025 turned out to be a grand family moment for Diana Ross. The legendary singer made a stunning comeback to the fashion event after over two decades. This time, her presence was more memorable with her children, Tracee Ellis Ross and Evan Ross, who also attended the prestigious event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
Each member of the family showed up in a look that reflected their unique sense of style while still staying true to the theme of the night. Tracee wore a custom creation by Marc Jacobs. Her outfit featured oversized, soft pink trousers, a fuchsia bow at the waist and a bordeaux jacket. She paired it with a white ruffled blouse and a matching hat.
During a chat with Entertainment Tonight on the deep blue carpet, Tracee revealed she already knew what her mother was going to wear. 'I know what she was wearing. I had an inside run," she said playfully. She then added, 'She doesn't know what I am wearing, I gotta go find her."
She also recalled that Diana's last Met Gala appearance was over two decades ago. 'I was with her. It was the Tom Ford, Gucci," she said.
Diana Ross made sure her return to the Met Gala was unforgettable. She wore a sparkling gown covered in crystals and topped off the look with a large white feathery hat. The most eye-catching part of her outfit was a dramatic shawl with long feathered cuffs and an 18-foot-long train. What made the train even more special was that it had the names of all her children and grandchildren embroidered on it.

Evan Ross, dressed in a modern, edgy black suit, walked the carpet beside his mother. His jacket had sharp shoulders and shimmering detailing. He paired it with high-waisted trousers and a distressed cream silk top. The top had a deep neckline, and his striking green and silver necklace drew attention.

Tracee had nothing but praise for her brother. 'My brother looks so hot," she said.
Diana Ross has five children. Her eldest daughter, Rhonda, was born in 1971 with Motown legend Berry Gordy. That same year, Diana married music executive Robert Ellis Silberstein, and they had two daughters together – Tracee and Chudney.
After parting ways with Silberstein in 1977, Diana married Norwegian businessman and mountaineer Arne Naess Jr. in 1986. They had two sons – Ross and Evan.
