New Zionist attack targets Fordow Nuclear Site in central Iran

Tehran – Saba: The spokesman for the Crisis Management Committee in Qom Province, central Iran, announced that Fordow nuclear site was subjected to a new attack by the Zionist entity on Monday, in continuation of its aggression against vital Iranian facilities. The spokesman explained that "the enemy carried out a new attack this morning targeting the Fordow nuclear site," stressing that the relevant authorities are closely monitoring the situation, according to the Iranian Al-Alam channel. He said that the Zionist aggression did not pose any threat or danger to citizens. The United States had previously targeted this site at dawn on Sunday, but the attack did not result in significant damage. This aggression comes in the context of the ongoing military escalation carried out by the United States and the Zionist entity against Iran, amid growing local and international condemnation of the targeting of civilian and scientific facilities. Israel Intercepts Missile Amid Iranian Confirmation of Launch from Yemen

Israeli military announced the interception of a missile early Monday, initially believed to have been launched from Iran. However, Iranian state media later confirmed that the missile had in fact been fired from Yemeni territory, adding a new layer of complexity to the ongoing regional conflict. The missile was intercepted before breaching Israeli airspace, triggering air raid sirens across central Israel and prompting temporary lockdowns in several cities. IDF stated that the projectile was neutralized by its multi-layered air defense system, without causing any casualties or damage. Iran's confirmation that the missile originated from Yemen aligns with previous threats issued by Houthi forces, who have vowed to expand their attacks in response to Israeli military actions in Gaza. Houthis claimed responsibility for multiple missile and drone attacks targeting Israel and U.S. naval assets in the Red Sea since late 2023. This latest incident comes amid a broader escalation following U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure, prompting fears of a wider regional war.
