Former EastEnders star NATALIE CASSIDY has claimed that Paloma Faith used to BULLY her at school.
Actress Natalie, 42, who played Sonia Fowler on the BBC1 soap, made the shock confession about popstar Paloma, 43, who grew up in the same area of East London as Natalie, on her podcast Life With Nat.

She revealed: 'Paloma Faith, she bullied me at school. She went to Islington Green and was in the year above me. We've spoken about it and she has said sorry about that. Gutted.'
Indeed, the pair both used to attend the same secondary school, now called the City of London Academy Islington.
However, the Make Your Own Kind of Music hitmaker had a VERY different experience to Natalie at school, describing it as 'one of the best periods of my life'.
She said: 'I had a really amazing experience. People were always criticising it but the teachers were just so brilliant.
"It was really creative, with really great art, music and dance departments. I really enjoyed it.'
We have reached out to Paloma Faith's representative for a comment.
Natalie - who quit as EastEnders' Sonia Fowler in January more than three decades after her first appearance - recently suffered a huge blow.
It was confirmed earlier this month that the BBC wouldn't be re-commissioning her podcast with Joanna Page.
A spokesperson told The Sun: "What started as a six month project turned into more than a year of joyous TV chatter, and over 80 heart-warming episodes.
"Thank you to Nat and Jo for their warm recommendations and insider analysis, and to the whole team for keeping listeners in the loop with what to watch.
EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy drops biggest hint yet about when Sonia Fowler will return after shock exit from soap
"We look forward to working with Nat and Jo again soon!"
But it's not all bad news as Natalie has landed her own show with the broadcaster, titled Learning To Care.
It will follow the actress as she fulfils her longtime ambition of wanting to train as carer.

It then allegedly featured a quote from the TV star which read: "I Didn't Want Anyone to Know..." Images showed her in-character on the show as well as smiling in a cheery headshot. Yet Natalie, who this year quit EastEnders after 32 years on the soap, categorically slammed the suggestions of her illness. She furiously wrote in her caption: "THIS IS DISGUSTING AND DISGRACEFUL. "So many people are going through this and I have had messages asking if I'm ok. "It is completely made up and a terrible story. "Take this down whoever you are." The fake news came after the mum of two opened up on a huge pop star who used to bully her at school. EastEnders' Natalie Cassidy claims huge pop star used to BULLY her at school and reveals awkward confrontation ALL CHANGE The shock story also came just weeks after Natalie's podcast with Joanna Page was scrapped by the BBC in a huge career change. Yet she still has her own podcast, Life With Nat. The podcast scrap came after we reported how Natalie had landed a new TV show with the broadcaster. BBC Daytime have commissioned a new series - under the working title Natalie Cassidy Learning to Care - for BBC One and iPlayer. EastEnders stars who QUIT MICHELLE Collins has seen her second EastEnders stint boost her bank balance. Yet what stars have quit this year? The Sun exclusively reported how Michelle, 62, was down to £20,000 in her company accounts when she agreed to a shock back-from-the-dead return to Albert Square last year. Her character, Cindy Beale, was presumed dead off-camera in 1998. Yet what about the 2024 exits? Earlier this summer, loyal soap fans appeared to note how Stevie Mitchell had "quit" the long-running series. It came after Alan Ford enjoyed just six-months on-screen. Bobby Beale actor Clay Milner Russell also left this year after five years in Walford. Fans also feared Martin Fowler actor James Bye would "quit out of boredom" over recent storylines. Additionally, a host of stars have quit the BBC soap for Hollywood fame. One of the most successful stars to come from the BBC One soap is Rob Kazinsky. He played Stacey Slater's brother Sean Slater from 2006 to 2009, he has starred in Hollywood blockbusters Pacific Rim and Captain Marvel. Ben Hardy, who quit EastEnders as Bobby Beale almost a decade ago, went on to break Hollywood the following year, when he starred as Archangel in X-Men: Apocalypse. Since then, he has played Roger Taylor in Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody, and he starred in Michael Bay's Netflix movie 6 Underground. Michelle Ryan played Zoe Slater until 2005. She starred as the lead in short-lived American series Bionic Woman from 2007 to 2008. The actress will fulfil her longtime ambition of wanting to train as carer. This means enrolling at one of the UK's top Health & Social Care colleges - alongside the next generation of carers. In recent years, Natalie has cared for family members and volunteered in local groups. The show follows her journey across classroom to community care services - as she's there for life's toughest moments. While to make things official, the actress will have to pass her final exam. Natalie said: 'I'm thrilled to be embarking on a new adventure with BBC Daytime. "In a series exploring social care, I will be going back to college and learning for the first time since leaving school at 16. "Caring has always been a huge part of my life, from watching my mum care for my nan, to being a mother to caring for my dad, this series is close to my heart and I can't wait for you to see it.' 6 She said the claims were 'completely made up' Credit: Rex 6 Natalie was an EastEnders fan-favourite Credit: BBC

Emmerdale star teases what's wrong with Bear as character set to vanish

Emmerdale's Mandy Dingle actress Lisa Riley told us what's ahead amid a mystery storyline for Bear on the ITV soap, hinting at huge and unexpected twists as the character vanishes Actress Lisa Riley has hinted at worrying and huge Emmerdale scenes ahead, concerning the new storyline with Bear. Lisa's character Mandy Dingle will be left concerned for her father-in-law Bear, with her and her husband Paddy Kirk, Bear's son, already confused by his recent behaviour. As the concern grows and a clash occurs between father and son, Bear ends up leaving the village and going completely AWOL. ‌ It's been revealed to The Mirror that the character, played by actor Joshua Richards, will be offscreen for "a month of two". The character then suddenly returns, and when he does it's noticeable that something is very different. ‌ With it thought that Paddy could "miss the signs" about what is going on with his dad amid his past experiences with depression, it's not being confirmed just yet what exactly is going on with Bear. It's clear he's in turmoil, while he's been having mood swings and displaying other worrying behaviour. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror, actress Lisa has hinted when it does come out what is going on fans might be shocked. She teased unexpected scenes ahead with her reaction to the fact that fans currently have no idea what is wrong with Bear. READ MORE: EastEnders Shane Richie addresses Alfie 'exit' and teases huge Zoe Slater twist She told us: "It is better that you don't know what's gonna happen with Bear. It's so..." She then made a noise and pulled a face that suggested the story could come as a shock to fans, while she gave nothing away. While she didn't want to go too much into detail, her reaction did hint that whatever happens will be big and possibly won't be guessed by viewers. As we asked her about how Mandy will react when Bear returns, Lisa said her concern would be more aimed at Paddy. Giving nothing away, she teased: "He disappears and then he comes back. But she's really conscious of Paddy so she's looking after Paddy's point of view... without giving too much away. She'll be looking after Paddy." ‌ Whether this means Paddy's hurt over his dad's abrupt exit and him being gone for so long, or the impact it has on Paddy, she did not say. But it's clear there are huge things ahead for the trio, and that Bear's plot is going to have a lasting impact. Speaking recently to The Mirror about the plot, actor Joshua teased what was ahead. He told us: "I'm not really sure the true nature of exactly what is going on, but there is a change there. I never saw sort of a more stripped-back Bear, emotionally through the ringer. ‌ "So I think there's something big coming up for him, which I'm really looking forward to." He went on: "He alters somewhat. He's not too good for some reason, which we don't know why. So he's been slightly erratic emotionally and with his moods. "There are mood swings coming up for him, periods of forgetfulness, and maybe the kind of things that happened with a man of his age." On how the storyline will impact Paddy, he teased: "Paddy will feel guilty, because this is his father's experience in this and it's right next to him, and he can't see it. "He can't put his finger on it even though he's experienced it himself. That's one part of the storyline that will be going on is that somewhere down the line, he'll have to realise that he missed it. That'll be an important part of Paddy's storyline as well." Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. * Follow Mirror Celebs and TV on TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Threads.

Billy Porter says Trump would be in jail if he was a black man

Broadway and Pose star Billy Porter has said that if Donald Trump was a black man he would have been in jail by now. Speaking to Matt Chorley for BBC Newsnight, Porter discussed the re-election of Donald Trump and the challenges faced by Democrats and activism in the United States. Porter said, 'We need to be focused on the fact he's not in jail… If he was a black man, he would be in jail.' He also speculated that the re-election of President Trump was a "backlash" to the election of President Obama because 'America is a racist country."
