New Taylor Swift-Inspired Look, New Travis Kelce For Chiefs In 2025?
New Taylor Swift-Inspired Look, New Travis Kelce For Chiefs In 2025? originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
So now he's a fashion icon, too?
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has had quite the offseason after the Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Coming off a poor season by his standards, Kelce and his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, came under scrutiny, and they retreated out of the public eye.
But over the past couple of weeks, they have been slowly seen out and about, with Kelce now sporting a lush head of hair, something that fans aren't used to seeing.
It was spotted at Kelce's cousin's wedding a couple of days ago when pictures surfaced online of Travis and Taylor enjoying the festivities, and the tight end's hair looked rather lavish.
Granted, we haven't seen Kelce and his shaved head for a while, but last season, he was seen growing his hair out longer, but now it appears he's letting it go as he enjoys time with Swift before the NFL season begins.

Now, was the decision to grow out Travis' hair made with Swift in mind? Possibly, but it is also possible that the future Hall of Famer wanted to change up his look for what many think will be his final NFL season in 2025.
After enduring a down year, Kelce, after reportedly trimming down 25 pounds, looks set to have one final crack at the Super Bowl and wants no distractions.
Granted, that will be easier said than done when your girlfriend is Taylor Swift, but Kelce and his new look this offseason have certainly captured the attention of fans.
But will this new look Travis Kelce be able to bounce back from what was his worst statistical season of his career?

That is the hope.

Caitlin Clark Assigns Blame After Fever's Loss to Valkyries
Caitlin Clark Assigns Blame After Fever's Loss to Valkyries originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Caitlin Clark had a forgettable outing on Thrusday night as the Indiana Fever suffered a disappointing 88-77 loss to the Golden State Valkyries. Advertisement The Fever star was held to just 11 points on 3-of-14 shooting, to go along with seven rebounds, nine assists, a steal and, for just the second time in her WNBA career, zero three-pointers. Clark also committed a team-high six turnovers in this one, which is one of the main issues the 23-year-old emphasized during her postgame press conference. 'I think we get these leads, we get up 10, we get up 12, and I thought that's where we really grew versus [the Connecticut Sun], we really took a step forward and kept our foot on the gas and built out our lead and got it up to 20,' Clark said, via Chloe Peterson of IndyStar. 'I thought we were kind of in the phase of not (giving up those leads) anymore. And then we got our lead to 12 (against the Valkyries), and then we kind of go on a stretch of turning the ball over… We got to be able to grow in that area.' Golden State Valkyries guard Veronica Burton (left) blocks a shot by Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) with guard Tiffany Hayes (right). Mandatory Credit: Darren Yamashita-Imagn Images As Clark said in her statement, it was Indiana's inability to take care of their lead that led to their downfall against Golden State. According to the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year, this was brought about by the turnovers they committed, particularly during crucial stretches in the game. Advertisement The Fever entered the fourth quarter with a 59-55 lead, and it looked like they were primed to take their third straight win. The Valkyries, however, came out firing in the fourth, and ended up outscoring Indiana, 33-18, in the final frame. The silver lining here is that Clark and the Fever are well aware of the main issue that led to their loss on Thursday, which means that this is an area that they can focus on and improve at in their next games. Mike Evans Reveals His Take on Bengals Star Ja'Marr Chase
Mike Evans Reveals His Take on Bengals Star Ja'Marr Chase originally appeared on Athlon Sports. There's a new generation of receivers taking over the NFL, and they are quickly encroaching upon some of the players in league history. Advertisement Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson seems to set receiving records each season. In 2024, Cincinnati Bengals receiver Ja'Marr Chase won the receiving triple crown. Fellow LSU alumni and New York Giants dynamo Malik Nabers wasn't too far behind despite bottom-barrel quarterbacking, and it seems like every offseason offers a new batch of studs to choose from. And yet, none of them hold a candle to Tampa Bay Buccaneers veteran Mike Evans' production. Only Jerry Rice has as many consecutive 1,000-yard seasons (11) as Evans, and the greatest receiver to ever live is the only player with more quadruple-digit campaigns. Nobody is touching that mark any time soon; it's a matter of circumstance, luck, and a whole lot of talent. If anyone is going to break it, Chase and his connection with quarterback Joe Burrow might have the best chance. Advertisement The Buccaneers legend revealed his take on Chase in an interview with Greg Auman. 'Ja'Marr Chase. He's a guy where if you said he was better than me — I don't think anybody's better than me — but if you said him, I would understand,' Evans said. There's a very real chance that Chase's peak is greater than Evans'. The latter has never led the league in receiving or receptions. Chase did so in 2024. He also picked up a first-team All-Pro selection this past season, something Evans hasn't done through his 11-year career. For what it's worth, Chase has a long way to go to match Evans' streak of 11 seasons. He's logged at least 1,000 yards in his first four seasons. The aforementioned Burrow certainly helps his chances, as does a running mate in receiver Tee Higgins who takes some attention away. Chase will have to stay healthy to hit those marks, but few will doubt his ability to produce those kinds of seasons. Advertisement Perhaps Evans' ability to remain consistent with Jameis Winston, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Baker Mayfield, and a host of other passers makes his record even more impressive. Chase will hope to take one step closer to Evans this year, although Cincinnati and Tampa Bay won't play in the 2025 regular season.
