Maren Morris: I suffer from mom-brain every day
Maren Morris suffers from "mom brain".
The 35-year-old singer - who has a five-year-old son called Hayes with ex-husband Ryan Hurd - has revealed that she's still battling so-called mom brain, which is a phrase used to describe postpartum forgetfulness.
Maren told People: "I have pretty good recall for, like, movies and years they came out, but I have to have a teleprompter onstage at shows because I might forget all my lyrics if I don't.
"It's a security point. I could do it, but I would be having an anxiety attack the whole time."
Maren loves the challenges of motherhood, and she actually finds her son's brutal honesty to be amusing.
The 'Girl' hitmaker shared: "Five-year-olds - don't ask them anything that you don't want a real answer to!"
Maren recently revealed that she has a straightforward co-parenting with Ryan.
The country music star divorced the 38-year-old singer in early 2024, after five years of marriage, and they now live just five minutes apart from one another, making it easy to arrange things for their son.
Speaking to The Zoe Report, Maren said: "Our stops are really easy, and we'll have family dinners."
Hayes spends alternate weeks with each parent and Maren has had to adjust to spending time on her own.
The award-winning star said: "Those weeks I have him, the house is full of chaos and energy and laughter and scraped knees.
'And then, when he is not there, you have to recalibrate your alone-ness because you're like, 'Wow, this is just me in here now.' That's when I've leaned into it and not been drowned by my own company."
Maren actually enjoys living alone these days, and she doesn't plan to live with a partner again.
The country music star shared: "I have joked that I want to be like Frida Kahlo and her husband and just live next door to each other.
"If I ever meet someone that I want to be romantically linked to, I'll be like, 'You can live next door.' Frida and her husband, their bedrooms were connected by a bridge. That's about as close as I want to be to someone."

Rebel Wilson targets more action comedy parts after Bride Hard
Rebel Wilson wants more action comedy roles after starring in Bride Hard. The 45-year-old actress reunites with her Pitch Perfect co-star Anna Camp in the new flick that centres on a chaotic wedding day and hopes to land similar roles in the future, even though she acknowledges that she is "not going to be in the John Wick franchise". Rebel told The Hollywood Reporter at the movie's Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday (18.06.25): "Obviously I'm not a serious action person, I'm not going to be in the John Wick franchise, but I feel like action comedy maybe there's a few roles coming up in that space which would be really fun." The Australian star plays secret agent Sam in the movie which sees her childhood best friend Betsy's (Camp) wedding crashed by armed mercenaries and says that she had been looking to work with her pal once again on a new project. Rebel said: "I love Anna, I think she's one of the world's best actresses - she can do anything, if you've seen her recently in You or Hysteria!, she's so multitalented. "This movie required a girl squad so I was like, 'Yeah, bring in Anna Camp.' She could play any role; she decided she wanted to be the bride and so we play besties yet again." The film is directed by Simon West and he says it was a straightforward decision to cast Anna because of her existing bond with Wilson. The director explained: "It was just easy because they're friends. There's so much else going on in the film and putting a film together, you go, 'How can we make that relationship work the best?' And getting somebody like Anna Camp who is already her best friend and has already worked with her and they know each other's timing, it just makes the whole thing so obvious." Meanwhile, Rebel revealed that she went into "beast mode" when it came to her physical preparation for the movie. The Bridesmaids star told People: "I was pretty strong during this movie. I trained for a full five weeks and did conditioning for it, and then I had to be really kind of in beast mode, but I really enjoyed it, getting paid to almost be fit, which is really good." However, the actress explained that she was almost left "permanently disfigured" by a "freak accident" on set. She told Access Hollywood: "In a fight scene, a gun accidentally got whacked across my face. "It was just a freak accident, and my nose got split open, so I left set. It was my last night of shooting. I was like, 'How unlucky can I be?' "I was freaking out. They take an ambulance and they have to call a plastic surgeon, because if they didn't, I would have been permanently disfigured. So we got the plastic surgeon, they did all the stitches, and you can't tell now."

Danny Boyle had a 'nightmare' filming naked zombies for 28 Years Later
Danny Boyle has admitted it was a "nightmare" filming naked zombies for new horror movie 28 Years Later. The moviemaker has stepped back into the director's chair to helm the new horror - written by Alex Garland - 23 years after the pair's first film 28 Days Later hit cinemas and Danny has revealed they needed to take extra care not to have "naked" actors on the set because they had strict rules in place to protect the film's child star Alfie Williams. Speaking to PEOPLE, Danny explained: "I mean, if you're recently infected [with the zombie virus], you'd have some clothes, but if you've been infected for a long time, the clothes would just disintegrate with the way that you behave. "We never knew that [about rules governing nudity on set when there's a child present] going in, it was a nightmare." Danny went on to explain the work-around they came up with, adding: "Interestingly, because there was a 12-year-old boy on set, you're not allowed for anybody to be naked, not really naked, so they look naked, but it's all prosthetics ... "So it's like: 'Oh my God,' so we had to make everybody prosthetic genitals'." Danny revealed he was keen to push boundaries with the elements of nudity and gore in the film and he's glad studio bosses were supportive of his plans. He told Variety: "I think one of the wonderful things about horror is that you're expected to maximize the impact of your story. Everybody wants to do that with a drama, with the romance, whatever. "But with horror, it's obviously gonna be brutal, some of it. What we loved was setting it against an innocence that's represented by the various children in it, and also the landscape, the beauty of the landscape, the nature. "Having those two forces stretches your story as far as you can go, if you maximize them. That was our principle and the studio was supportive of that, of course they were." 28 Years Later is out this month and a fourth film in the series 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple - directed by Nia DaCosta with Danny as a producer - has already been shot ahead of a planned January 2026 launch date. However, the 'Trainspotting' moviemaker hopes to be back in the directing chair if the final movie is given the green light. The series was created by Alex Garland - who wrote the screenplays for all the films except for second instalment 28 Weeks Later - and started with Cillian Murphy's character Jim, who awakes from a coma to discover Britain has been plagued by a terrible pandemic known as the Rage Virus, which turns those affected turn into murderous zombies. Cillian makes a brief appearance in 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple and is due to be given a bigger role in the untitled follow-up, but Alex Garland has revealed there's still no script for the next month. He told Variety: "The script isn't written. It's strange: There's a story, there's a plan, there's a structure ... So short answer: I've got the idea, I've got the plan, but there's not a script. I'm waiting to see what happens, I suppose."
