28 Years Later director reveals 'nightmare' of shooting naked zombie scenes
28 Years Later director Danny Boyle has opened up on the challenges the crew faced while shooting nude zombies. The third film in the franchise hit cinema screens 23 years after 28 Days Later was released, revolutionising the zombie subgenre in the process. The film, starring Cillian Murphy and Naomie Harris, was followed by 2007 sequel 28 Weeks Later, but 18 years of silence followed, with rumours constantly swirling that a third film was coming. Last year, Boyle and original writer Alex Garland confirmed 28 Years Later was in the works, and its eagerly anticipated release has been met with rave reviews from critics branding it 'a masterpiece.' The film has the same Rage-infected creatures we were introduced to more than two decades ago, with some interesting evolutionary changes upping the ante. Many of the monsters in the film appear naked as they chase after the ensemble cast, featuring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Alfie Williams, Jodie Comer, and Ralph Fiennes. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video The decision to have the zombies running around in the buff was a natural progression for them, given the setting of the film, almost 30 years after the events of 28 Days Later. 'I mean, if you're recently infected, you'd have some clothes, but if you've been infected for a long time, the clothes would just disintegrate with the way that you behave,' Boyle told People. However, the presence of 14-year-old newcomer Williams on set meant that actors portraying the zombies could not actually be naked around the minor under the Child Sex Offences Act. Boyle said the crew 'never knew that' when shooting, describing the process of creating a naked illusion as a 'nightmare.' 'Interestingly, because there was a 12-year-old boy on set, you're not allowed for anybody to be naked, not really naked, so they look naked, but it's all prosthetics,' he explained. More Trending The warning from intimacy coordinators meant that every zombie cast member had to have prosthetic genitals made for their scenes. 28 Years Later follows a group of survivors on an island who have managed to carve out a semblance of normality for themselves away from the mainland where the infected roam. Jamie (Taylor-Johnson) takes his 12-year-old son Spike (Williams) to the mainland to bag his first kill and learn about the horrors of the modern world, with Spike stumbling onto a discovery that could help his sick mother Isla (Comer). 28 Years Later is in cinemas now . Heather Graham's secrets to fountain of youth as she admits she's happier than ever in her 50s
Heather Graham navigates the pressures of staying youthful in Hollywood with ease. Graham shared her secrets with Retreat Magazine about her philosophy when it comes to aging. "I think what matters most is how you feel inside. Decide that you're hot and enjoy your life. What other people think of you is none of your business. If you feel good about yourself, no one can take that away from you. Pursue the things that fill you with joy, and surround yourself with loving people," the 55-year-old actress said. Graham continued, "I don't drink or do drugs, and I get a lot of sleep. Eating healthy makes me feel good. I like cooking for myself and other people. And I love it when people cook for me. Basically, I like eating! Also, I do affirmations. I think they are very powerful. I work on strengthening my inner loving parent muscle, so I can be supportive and loving to myself. One of my affirmations is: 'This is the best time of my life.'" During an interview with People in April, Graham admitted to being a happier person after she turned 55. "I feel like as I get older, I just care less about things that don't matter. Everyone gets upset sometimes, but I think that I'm happier. I've done enough hard work on myself that I feel like I'm a happier person now," Graham, who turned 55 in January, told the outlet. "Decide that you're hot and enjoy your life." The "Boogie Nights" star has been focused on wellness since she was 21. Graham works out, eats healthily, does yoga and meditates. The actress told Retreat Magazine that even incorporating those things into her daily routine does not compare to having "loving people around you." "I have some wonderful friends, and I am so grateful for them." "I think the most important thing is to love yourself, because then you have more love to give. Fill up your cup first before you give to other people. Also, it's so good to have a sense of humor!" Graham said. Along with her wellness secrets, Graham does not drink or do drugs. However, she is part of an AI-Anon, which is a 12-step group for people who have a friend or family member who struggles with addiction. "I have never had a problem with drinking or drugs, but sometimes I have problems with relationships. Or if you have any difficult people in your life, it can help you learn how to deal with them better, in a more loving way, and most importantly, to take better care of yourself," she told Retreat Magazine. During her interview, Graham shared that she is "ahead of her time" when it comes to embracing her sexuality. "Nowadays, so many women are enjoying their sexuality, but when I was coming up, there was definitely judgment around that. It's great to watch younger women feel freer to be sexual and not to worry about cultural bias," she said. Graham got her start in the entertainment industry when she left her parents' home at 18 and moved to West Hollywood, California, with a roommate. At the time, her father warned her that Hollywood would "claim [her] soul." "He regularly told me that the entertainment industry was evil and that Hollywood would claim my soul," Graham said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal in 2024. She noted that her parents "were part of a generation that didn't believe in therapy or discussing personal things, so I never felt I could talk to them." Following the premiere of her movie "License to Drive" in 1988, Graham knew it was time to move out of her parents' home. "When the movie came out, I was 18, living at home had become more difficult," she said. "I said to myself, 'I've got to get out of here, I've got to be successful, and I've got to be a movie star.'" Graham graduated from high school with a 5.0 GPA and went on to study English at UCLA. After her junior year at the university, she decided to drop out to focus on her acting career. At this time, Graham landed major roles in the films "Austin Powers" and "Swingers," which made her realize she was "self-sufficient," and she began to reevaluate her relationship with her parents. "I stopped talking to my parents when I was 25, and I'm estranged from them now," Graham admitted. "My friends are proud of me, and I'm proud of myself. I have really good friends." The actress is proud of the life she has created for herself. "I live in Los Angeles in a house I bought last year. I also have a loft in New York," she said, noting that her West Coast home "has views of the Pacific."

Rebel Wilson wants more action comedy roles after starring in Bride Hard, Entertainment News
Rebel Wilson wants more action comedy roles after starring in Bride Hard. The 45-year-old actress reunites with her Pitch Perfect co-star Anna Camp in the new flick that centres on a chaotic wedding day and hopes to land similar roles in the future, even though she acknowledges that she is not going to be in the John Wick franchise. Rebel told The Hollywood Reporter at the movie's Los Angeles premiere on Wednesday (June 18): "Obviously I'm not a serious action person, I'm not going to be in the John Wick franchise, but I feel like action comedy maybe there's a few roles coming up in that space which would be really fun." The Australian star plays secret agent Sam in the movie which sees her childhood best friend Betsy's (Camp) wedding crashed by armed mercenaries and says that she had been looking to work with her pal once again on a new project. Rebel said: "I love Anna, I think she's one of the world's best actresses — she can do anything, if you've seen her recently in You or Hysteria!, she's so multitalented. "This movie required a girl squad, so I was like, 'Yeah, bring in Anna Camp.' She could play any role; she decided she wanted to be the bride and so we play besties yet again." The film is directed by Simon West and he says it was a straightforward decision to cast Anna because of her existing bond with Wilson. The director explained: "It was just easy because they're friends. There's so much else going on in the film and putting a film together, you go, 'How can we make that relationship work the best?' And getting somebody like Anna Camp who is already her best friend and has already worked with her and they know each other's timing, it just makes the whole thing so obvious." Meanwhile, Rebel revealed that she went into "beast mode" when it came to her physical preparation for the movie. The Bridesmaids star told People: "I was pretty strong during this movie. I trained for a full five weeks and did conditioning for it, and then I had to be really kind of in beast mode, but I really enjoyed it, getting paid to almost be fit, which is really good." However, the actress explained that she was almost left "permanently disfigured" by a "freak accident" on set. She told Access Hollywood: "In a fight scene, a gun accidentally got whacked across my face. "It was just a freak accident, and my nose got split open, so I left set. It was my last night of shooting. I was like, 'How unlucky can I be?' "I was freaking out. They take an ambulance and they have to call a plastic surgeon, because if they didn't, I would have been permanently disfigured. So we got the plastic surgeon, they did all the stitches, and you can't tell now." [[nid:719218]]

Joseph Kosinski Director Of F1Reveals Why Bridgerton Actress Simone Ashley Role Was Taken Out From Final Cut
Washington : 'Bridgerton' fame actress Simone Ashley has been cast in the high-octane racing drama 'F1' alongside Brad Pitt and Damson. However, despite shooting some scenes in the movie, her role was cut in the final cut, reported People Magazine. When asked about the change to Ashley's part, director Joseph Kosinski tells People, "It happens on every film, where you have to shoot more than you can use. There were two or three storylines that ultimately didn't make it into the final cut." Kosinski, though, lauded the talent of the actress Simone and expressed his wish to work with her again. "But Simone, she's an incredible talent, incredible actress, incredible singer, and I would love to work with her again," Kosinski adds as quoted by People. Simone Ashley has not commented on her reduction of the role yet. Earlier this month, while speaking to ELLE as quoted by People, Ashley said making F1 was a "crazy" experience. "I have a very small part, but I'm grateful to be in that movie. I got to experience many Grand Prix. I don't think I'll ever do anything like that again," said Ashley as quoted by People. The 'Bridgerton' actress previously told Who What Wear magazine, as quoted by People, that the production on the film 'F1' had been "going for years" as she revealed how long her role was in the works. "I met for this movie, I think, before Bridgerton even came out. It's been a long time, and you know, it's Damson and Brad's movie. I'm just so grateful that I can be part of it. You had to work as a team. Sometimes we literally had one take for certain shots. Like, you'd see on the call sheet eight minutes to get this one thing because we were shooting alongside the races," said Simone Ashley as quoted by People. According to an official synopsis, Pitt will be playing the character of Hayes in F1. Hayes was Formula 1's "most promising phenom of the 1990s until an accident on the track nearly ended his career." "Thirty years later, he's a nomadic racer-for-hire when he's approached by his former teammate Ruben Cervantes (Javier Bardem), owner of a struggling Formula 1 team that is on the verge of collapse. Ruben convinces Sonny to come back to Formula for one last shot at saving the team and being the best in the world," the synopsis continues. "But as the engines roar, Sonny's past catches up with him and he finds that in Formula 1, your teammate is your fiercest competition and the road to redemption is not something you can travel alone," read the synopsis as reported People. The film also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles and Samson Kayo, while Lewis Hamilton is one of the producers. 'F1' is in theatres on June 27.

Najib Razak Escapes RM27 Million SRC Charges But He Remains A Jailed Man
Subscribe to our FREE If there's one court case in Malaysia that deserves its own television series, it's the People Vs Najib Razak. The former Prime Minister has so many charges that it has become quite a feat for anyone to remember it all. Fact # 1 Datuk Seri Najib Razak remains a jailed man Making headlines this morning, Najib has been granted a DNAA over three charges concerning RM27 Million SRC International funds. Judge K Muniandy The judge said the circumstances leaned in favour of Najib as the prosecution was not ready to proceed with trial. The case has been pending for six years since charges were levelled against Najib in 2019. Speaking to reporters DNAA stands for discharge not amounting to an acquittal. This means an accused is released from their charges but they are not fully cleared of it. Should evidence come up later, they can still be prosecuted for the same offence. But he walks? Yes, but not quite. If this was Najib's only court case, he is a free man. Unfortunately for the jailed former Umno president, this is just one of many. Not his first DNAA Najib and former treasury secretary-general Tan Sri Irwan Serigar Abdullah were The DNAA was granted last year following delays and failure to produce key documents by the prosecution. 1MDB audit tampering Najib and then‑1MDB CEO Arul Kanda Kandasamy were charged in December 2018 with abusing his position by directing unauthorized amendments to the 1MDB final audit report before it was tabled in Parliament in March 2016. Najib was RM42 million SRC conviction Fact #2 Najib was jailed on charges involving RM42 million SRC International funds Back in 2020, the Kuala Lumpur High Court convicted Najib on seven charges; including criminal breach of trust, abuse of power, and money laundering related to RM42 million misappropriated from SRC International (a former subsidiary of 1MDB). He was sentenced to 12 years in prison and fined RM210 million. This conviction was upheld by the Court of Appeal in 2021 and the Federal Court in 2022. So off to the Kajang Prison Najib went. The 12-year jail term has since been halved by the Pardons' Board. Najib is fighting for a house arrest, citing a royal addendum, but that matter remains an ongoing battle. 1MDB – Tanore So, with three out of the way and one conviction for seven charges, how many more legal headaches are there? In May this year, the defence This trial has spanned over seven years where Najib faces four charges of power abuse and 21 charges of money laundering involving RM2.27 billion of 1MDB funds.
