AN URGENT hunt is underway for Brit Janet Fison who went missing on Costa Blanca 17 days ago.
Cops have deployed drones, dogs and helicopters to aid with the search, which has been going on since she disappeared on 30 May.

One local said they have noticed a strong police presence build up around the river near Benejuzar.
Janet, who originally comes from Redhill, Surrey, left her home in Jacarilla on the Spanish Costa Blanca at around 7pm while wearing a colourful printed dress.
The Spanish Civil Guard have since released a CCTV image of her being served in a shop just before she vanished.
Janet's husband said she did not have her mobile phone or any cash with her.

According to reports, Janet was last sighted walking by the river towards the town of Benejuzar at around 8.40pm.
Jacarilla council have made a fresh appeal for anyone with information to contact the police.
A statement read: "In an update today Jacarilla Town Hall said: 'Janet is still missing. The photo on the right shows what she was wearing on the day she disappeared.
"This image was taken in a local business hours before she disappeared.
"The Guardia Civil is still searching. She was last seen on Friday, May 30, around 8.40pm, along the river towards Benejuzar."
Locals have since jumped onto social media to share their support.

One expat said: 'Aww, I knew Janet when we lived in Jacarilla, I hope she's found safe and well.'
Another said : 'Oh dear, I know Janet. I hope she is found soon.'
Whilst a third said: 'I hope they find her safe and sound because I've been there and I know how bad the area is.'

He also repeatedly gesticulated and adopted an aggressive demeanour towards three members of the cabin crew while on board the easyJet aircraft on September 27 last year. Shocked staff were forced to alert the police to Devine's rowdy behaviour and after landing at the Scottish capital officers boarded the plane and arrested the drunk 52-year-old. Devine pleaded guilty to three offences under The Air Navigation Order and Civil Aviation Act when his case called at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last month and sentence was deferred to Thursday. The court was told Devine, from Dundee, had been excused attendance at the hearing as he is currently out of the country for several months working off shore with the oilfield services company Saipem. Sheriff Thomas Welsh agreed to deal with the matter in his absence and sentenced the North Sea quality control coordinator to pay a total fine of £1475 to mark the offences. Devine, who also owns the real estate firm Devine Property Holdings Ltd, had been returning home after several weeks away when the ship he had been working on dropped him off at Sicily. While waiting on his flight at the island's Catania Airport the father of two telephoned his partner who told him she was leaving him and didn't want to see him on his return to Scotland. He was said to have become upset and began drinking alcohol in the airport lounge before continuing to down drinks while travelling home onboard the easyJet flight. The off shore engineer then became aggressive towards cabin crew after they warned him to stop using his vape and not to make telephone calls during the flight. Shocking moment a drunken passenger was arrested after 'punching two cabin crew members' Devine refused instructions to secure his seatbelt on take off and landing and shouted and swore at cabin crew members Colin Robinson, Lauren Hannah and Demi Gardner. A passenger who witnessed the drunken outburst said Devine had been 'a complete nightmare' during the flight. They said: 'The guy didn't seem too drunk when we took off but he began drinking during the flight and soon became abusive towards the crew. 'He was using his vape on a good few occasions, which was a complete disregard for all the other passengers, and was also on his phone to someone. 'He seemed quite upset about something and was shouting and swearing at the easyJet staff who had politely asked him to stop. 'The crew tried to take the vape off him but he wouldn't hand it over and they just didn't have any choice but to inform the police about his behaviour. 'He totally deserved to be arrested when we landed in Edinburgh and to be honest he was a complete nightmare during the flight.' Devine pleaded guilty to charges of being drunk on board the flight and failing to obey commands issued by the pilot and cabin crew, refuse to secure his seatbelt, make a telephone call and use a vape on board the aircraft and refuse to hand over the vape to the crew. The business is connected to one of the guys McGill blames for ripping him off. 'He is an associate of the guy who got attacked in Thailand and they are both being blamed for the fake notes scam that kicked off this whole war. 'Lots of innocent people's lives are being affected by this madness. "It's being going on for months and who knows what will happen next.' Earlier today cops were standing guard at the site and a forensic officer was seen taking pictures of the scene. A charred container could be seen from the street. Spanish cops insist hitman who executed Ross Monaghan & Eddie Lyons Jr killer WAS member of rival Daniel clan Detectives were also spotted at the industrial estate carrying out their investigation. It's understood the company employs many local people who will now be worried about their jobs. One nearby neighbour told how 'billowing smoke' could be seen out across the small town. The man, who declined to be named, said: 'I was heading home after a night out and I could smell the smoke in the taxi. 'As we got closer you could see billowing smoke right across the area. 'We arrived in town and the police were diverting traffic away from the street. 'When I got home I could smell the smoke in my home. 'RTR employs lots of local people so I hate to think what that means for these guys' jobs.' The attack comes days after we told of a video threat by a group known as Tamo Junto who are said to be acting for McGill who is calling the shots from his desert bolthole. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Police received a report of a fire at a premises on Engine Road in Loanhead around 11.50pm on Saturday, 21 June, 2025. 'Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished by Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. No-one was injured. 'The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.'
