Dad of Chelsee Healey's child jailed after major drug-dealing operation

Daily Mirrora day ago

Chelsee Healey's baby daughter's dad has been jailed for his involvement in a drug-dealing operation. It comes just days after the Hollyoaks actress, 36, supported Eddie Rainford at Manchester Crown Court earlier in the week.
Rainford, 32, along with another man, Jay Boyd, were accused of supplying large quantities of cannabis. The actress, who plays Goldie McQueen on the Channel 4 soap opera, had attempted to keep Rainford's identity a secret and had only shared his first name with her fans and told them he was "marriage material."
Monday's hearing was adjourned to today after Judge Peter Horgan told both Rainford and Boyd that they would likely face an "immediate custodial sentence." He was remanded at HP Forest Bank while awaiting his sentencing. Judge Horgan jailed Rainford for 24 months.
On Monday, Chelsee looked shocked as she watched on from the public gallery when Horgan adjourned the case. In January this year, he pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of the Class B drug between November 11, 2022 and September 28, 2023 – just days after Chelsee was booted out of ITV's Dancing On Ice.
He had admitted the same charge at an earlier hearing, when the court heard that he and Boyd had a "significant role" in supplying "wholesale quantities" of the Class B drug. At the time of Chelsee's exit from the show, sources claimed that Chelsee was struggling with what was going on at home.
A source told The Sun: "What Chelsee was desperately coping with while on the show was that her partner, the father of her youngest daughter, was in court for drug-dealing and has been sent to prison on remand." Chelsee even alluded to her struggles off-camera during her exit chat, saying: "There has been a lot going on with me that I have been struggling with."
She had kept Rainford's identity hidden since they started dating in 2021 and since then, has only shared a handful of snaps of him on social media. It was Chelsee's Hollyoaks co-star, Richard Blackwood, who revealed Eddie's name on social media as he shared snaps from Chelsee's baby shower.
But while sources had previously suggested Chelsee and Eddie were no longer together, she has gushed over their romance, explaining she instantly knew he was "the one." She said: "This is the most supportive relationship I've ever been in. My friends and family love him, and he's the first bloke I've introduced Coco to, which says a lot. I knew he was 'The One' within three to four months. I've kissed a few frogs, but he's definitely marriage material."

Holly Willoughby cosies up to pal Christine Lampard in hysterical throwback snap from the pair's kooky girls' night

took to Instagram on Friday with a hysterical throwback snap from her and pal Christine Lampard 's kooky girls' night. The former This Morning presenter, 44, and Loose Women host, 46, appeared to be having a wonderful time as they playfully posed with crisps in their mouths as fangs. The cheeky duo looked fresh faced and radiant in the snap as they posed up a storm and gazed into the camera. Holly captioned the post: 'About last night… found this on the roll.… how do you eat your crisps? @christinelampard #fangtastic'. Fans were left in hysterics and rushed to the comments writing: 'I just love you two': 'love this xx': 'So many questions and not enough answers, I fear Looks like it was a hilarious night x'. Back in April Christine was on hand to support her close friend after her long running show Dancing On Ice was axed by ITV. Once again taking to Instagram Holly shared a selfie as the pair enjoyed a glass of wine in the sunshine. It came after she'd been left without an ITV primetime show for the first time in 21 years after turning down a major job with the broadcaster. Taking her mind of the matter, Holly look as lovely as ever with a pair of stylish black sunglasses and a navy blue padded jacket. Meanwhile Christine looked equally as stunning as she also donned black sunglasses and a grey jacket. Soaking up the sun, the pals beamed for the camera as they caught up with each other over a drink. Holly captioned the sweet snap: 'Rosé kinda Day.' It comes after Holly sent fans into a frenzy as she unveiled a striking new look on the platform on Thursday. The TV presenter looked worlds away from her usual style as she posed for a car selfie wearing bold, chunky black-frame glasses. The pair feature in a close knit group of pals alongside Emma Bunton and Nicole Appleton Turning heads in a yellow and white striped shirt, Holly beamed at the camera as she showed off her new look and joked about her latest parenting challenge. 'Any other mum/dads of 16 year old / post GCSE children suddenly find themselves with a new role of personal party driver? Mums Mini Cabs and yes I'm now a glasses wearer ... game changer!' she captioned the snap. Holly and her husband Dan Baldwin are parents to son Harry, 16, daughter Belle, 12, and nine-year-old son Chester. The broadcaster revealed a secret health battle that drove her to 'write herself off' in an emotional Channel 4 documentary. Jamie Oliver 's new show, Jamie's Dyslexia Revolution, hit screens earlier this month. The documentary saw the TV chef look into the challenges dyslexic children have to tackle at school and push for more support from the Government. Dyslexia is a common learning difficulty that causes problems with reading, writing and spelling and difficulties with processing. During the film, Holly features and opens up about her own battle with dyslexia. Reflecting on her time at school, the TV star spoke about her 'poor results' in tests despite 'working really, really hard'. She said: 'I definitely was terrible at spelling. I knew that because in spelling tests I would always get poor results' 'I always knew that when I got my homework back, there would be red pen all over it where there would be 'silly mistakes',' Holly added. The presenter revealed how it made her feel 'different' and explained: 'I felt like I was working really, really hard, with not getting much results. So I felt different.' She shared her take on the current school system and how it isn't suited for everyone. 'The school system is made for a certain type of learning and its so hard when you don't learn like that,' Holly said. 'When you then write yourself off at school as being non-academic that does shape your future somewhat,' she added. The TV presenter has previously said she was diagnosed with dyslexia 'quite late in life' and has praised her teachers with helping her overcome it at school. And during an episode of This Morning back in 2022, the star said she did not see the learning difficulty as a 'disability', adding: 'I think it makes me who I am.' While discussing dyslexia with British entrepreneur, Sir Richard Branson, 71, who is also dyslexic, Holly said: 'I don't see it as a disability at all, I see it as a real feather in my cap. 'I'm very proud of being dyslexic, I think it makes me who I am. I think half of the things I think that I'm actually quite good at in life are because I'm dyslexic.' Sir Richard responded: 'I was so hopeless at school work that I decided aged 15 to leave school and do the things that I was interested in, and once I started putting my dyslexic thinking brain to things that I was interested in I started to excel at them.

Woman breaks down in tears at 'uncomfortable' sex party with boyfriend

A woman who asked her boyfriend for an open relationship has broken down in tears at a sex party on Channel 4's controversial new show. Tonight's latest instalment of Open House: The Great Sex Experiment sees newly married couple Sharmayne, 26, and Jamie, 29, from Essex push the boundaries in their relationship. The pair can be seen heading to their first social event to see whether they can find anyone suitable to join them in their open relationship. After speaking as a couple to some of the people in the Open House, the pair then split up and mingle individually. However, moments after Sharmayne sees Jamie flirting with other women, she grabs his arm and tells him that she wants to 'step out'. As the pair walk outside, drawing some suspicious looks from the other guests, Sharmayne tells Jamie: 'I just feel overwhelmed. It's just a bit much for me, the whole situation.' After Jamie replies: 'We're not obligated to do anything. This is our journey,' Sharmayne can be seen getting visibly upset before she says: 'I'm just uncomfortable.' Moments after, she begins to wipe away tears from her eyes as Jamie asks: 'Where do we go from here?' After Sharmayne says 'I don't know', she adds: 'I don't know if I'm going to be able to hold myself together now. 'I really don't want to do it. I just want to go home.' This comes after a man vomited after agreeing to let his partner sleep with another man on the show. Couple Tom and Lauren appeared on the new reality series on June 13 after agreeing to take things to another level in the bedroom after a candid discussion with non-monogamy expert Effy Blue. Afterwards, Lauren was seen reassuring Tom, adding to the camera that it was 'absolutely insane' to see him with the 'confidence' for them to have their individual fun before reuniting at the end of the night. The camera then panned to Tom rushing to the bathroom to vomit, telling Lauren it was 'going to be horrible' and that he felt 'absolutely petrified and sick' as she tried to comfort him. Following a strong reaction to the turn of events, Tom and Lauren took to social media to address viewers. On their shared Instagram story they answered a series of questions about threesomes in the bedroom. When asked if they would do a 'two male, one female' threesome, they replied: 'It's certainly something we would consider.' Another asked if they would 'play with' him and his wife and they explained: 'never say never' but they would 'want to build a connection first'. One fan asked what their 'first time' was like to which they said it was 'awkward and tense'. 'We were both nervous but learned a lot and loved it,' they added. More Trending To others they recommended swinging apps and confirmed they don't have any 'parties' in the schedule yet. 'What did you learn the most on the show,' one person asked, to which they said: 'Communication between the two of us, even the little things, and Tom learned to love the body he's in.' Open House is certainly not the first time Channel 4 has aired a provocative show, after their recent series Virgin Island, which left viewers gobsmacked and uncomfortable as 12 'adult virgins' were sent on a sex retreat. He entered the retreat alongside his fiancé Chris, to explore whether they're attracted to women. While Simon looked visibly flustered, one of the women gave him a drink of water. He said: "Might just be a bit of stage fright, part of it is also... there's a lot going on. "I'm just, like, processing everything at once. This is something very new for me." Viewers previously slammed a mum-of-six for "making a fool" of her husband. Amy attracted the ire of horrified fans for passionately kissing a woman in front of her hubby Claude in a hot tub. Amy had told the cameras how she previously enjoyed a polyamorous lifestyle and wanted to return to it despite hers and Claude's monogamous marriage. Claude admitted he had always stuck to one partner and was struggling with the idea of seeing his wife with someone else. But despite his obvious reservations, Amy wasted no time in snogging a woman called Georgie in front of him while sitting in a steamy hot tub. Awkward moment mum-of-six 'makes a fool out of husband' on Channel 4's The Open House in bid to SAVE their marriage A fan penned: "Amy, if you end up on your own with 6 kids I'll have no sympathy." Another commented: "Amy's mocking her husband." And a third said: "I think it's unfair that Amy entered into a monogamous marriage and now wants to change the rules AND for her husband to be happy with that, when he's clearly not." Someone else remarked: "Amy just wants a way out of the relationship, making a fool of her partner." Despite Claude's reluctance to get on board with the idea, Amy told the cameras that she believed he was only closed off to polygamy because it is "not what society dictates". But another viewer blasted: "No Amy he is not holding back cos society tells him it is not normal, he is holding back cos he doesn't want to do this!" Another couple taking part, Sarah and Jonny, opened up about how things have become awkward during the school run. Open House The Great Sex Experiment airs on Channel 4.
