Despite that, the film's box office opening has been modest compared to expectations. As per early estimates by Kuberaa collected Rs 12.98 crore on day one, falling short of Dhanush's previous theatrical release Raayan, which had an opening day collection of Rs 15.7 crore. The Telugu version of Kuberaa recorded an overall occupancy of 50.19% on Friday, with morning shows at 38.94%, afternoon shows at 54.58%, and evening shows peaking at 57.04%.
