Bangalore – Lexus India has reopened bookings for its ultra-luxury MPV, the LM 350h, following overwhelming customer interest and demand across the country. The move marks a renewed push in the luxury mobility segment, where the LM 350h continues to stand out for its craftsmanship, comfort, and advanced hybrid technology.
Launched as the brand's flagship MPV, the Lexus LM 350h has captured attention for redefining chauffeur-driven travel in India. Available in both four- and seven-seater configurations, the LM 350h is designed to deliver a tranquil and productive space for passengers, combining near-silent operation with refined ride quality and superior rear-seat comfort.

SOL launches certificate courses in 8 foreign languages
New Delhi: For students aspiring to master a foreign language while balancing their regular studies or professional commitments, 's School of Open Learning (SOL) is offering a flexible new opportunity. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now This year, for the first time, SOL launched certificate courses in eight foreign languages, inviting learners to step into a world of new cultures, careers, and connections. From Japanese to Spanish, and from French to Mandarin, the doors are open — and the race for admissions has officially begun. Interested candidates can submit their applications online till July 12. Following the application process, the first merit list will be published on July 17, while counselling and admissions based on the merit list will be conducted from July 18 to 20. The courses are being offered under the Centre for Indian Foreign Languages (CIFL), a specialised unit within SOL. This year, certificate-level programmes are available, and from the next academic year, diploma-level admissions will also be introduced, offering a pathway for students to deepen their proficiency. The eight languages being offered are Japanese, Korean, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Mandarin (Chinese), and Russian — languages that are increasingly sought after in global job markets and academic circles. "Recognising the diverse needs of learners, especially working professionals and college students, the classes will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining both offline and online sessions. Moreover, most classes will be scheduled on weekends, ensuring flexibility without compromising on the quality of instruction," said an official. The academic delivery of these programmes is overseen by faculty from Department of Romance Studies and Department of East Asian Studies, and the courses are approved by University Grants Commission.
