Shocking Ring camera footage leaves Alabama neighborhood on edge as naked man prowls properties

Daily Maila day ago

Families in a quiet Alabama suburb say they're living in fear after a naked man was caught creeping across their lawns in the dead of night - and it's all been caught on chilling Ring camera footage.
Residents of the Tillman's Corner neighborhood in Mobile say the nude prowler has been spotted multiple nights in a row, wandering out of the woods and brazenly approaching homes - sometimes holding what appears to be a weapon.
One startled woman told local FOX affiliate WALA that she was searching through security footage to find her missing cat when she made the disturbing discovery.
She had been checking her security cameras in search of her cat when she was stunned to spot the completely naked man - wearing nothing but socks - strolling past her home.
Moments later, the footage showed him wandering into her backyard and circling around the parked cars.
But it wasn't just the man's lack of clothing that disturbed her.
'This guy had something in his hand,' she said. 'I don't know what it was. I don't know if it was a lawn mower blade or something like that.'
She said the footage showed the man strolling directly into her backyard, just moments before her husband stepped out for work.
'My husband went out to get ready for work just 15 minutes after the video was taken,' she added. 'So I was a little concerned once I saw him in the backyard.'
And she's not alone. Several neighbors say they've also seen the naked intruder.
One local mother said the situation has left her deeply unsettled, fearing the emotional impact it could have on her children.
'It's scary,' the woman said. 'I have kids here so I'll be worried about them seeing that and having to explain it. So it's just a nightmare having them being traumatized like that, knowing 'well if I go outside, what if that man's out there?''
The repeated sightings have shaken the neighborhood, prompting several families to boost their home security.
Some have installed surveillance cameras and motion-activated lights to deter the intruder, making sure every angle of their property is covered.
While the man's identity and the object he's carrying remain unknown, residents say they won't feel safe until he's found.
'We received one call on June, 9, 2025, matching this description. Officers were unable to make contact with a subject and cleared the call to service another one,' the a representative from the Mobile Police Department said in a statement to DailyMail.com.

Gun-wielding attacker killed at church in suburban Detroit

A gunman opened fire during a service at a suburban Detroit church on Sunday, wounding one person before he was shot and killed by a security guard, police said. The person shot in the leg was the security guard, according to what the church's pastor told the Detroit News. No one else was hurt in part because a church member ran the attacker over with a truck, said the CrossPointe Community church pastor Bobby Kelly Jr. The shooting happened at CrossPointe in Wayne, a city of about 17,000 people, at about 11am, Kelly Jr told the Detroit News. Kelly said the security guard had time to shoot the attacker because the attacker was run over by a church member driving a truck. 'He was run over by one of our members who saw this happening when he was coming into church,' Kelly said to the newspaper. Police described the slain intruder as a 31-year-old white male. In a statement shortly before noon on Sunday, authorities asked the public to avoid the area around the church, saying the investigation into the violence there remained under active investigation. About 150 people were attending the service, including children, Kelly said. Congregants' startled reaction to the gunfire on Sunday was captured on the service's online live stream. Kelly told the Detroit News that members of the CrossPointe church started a security team about a decade ago in response to violence at other places of worship around the US, although his congregation in Wayne had not received threats of violence. 'We are sitting ducks to someone who wants to come and do harm,' Kelly said to the newspaper. Kelly reportedly added that the children in attendance on Sunday were 'doing good' after the attack and that congregants were supporting each other. He told the Detroit News his church would 'put a formal plan in place for the aftermath' of Sunday. The Associated Press contributed reporting

Jennifer Aniston reveals career 'bucket list' ambition... over a month after 'stalker' scare

She is best known for her role on one of the biggest sitcoms on TV, but Friends star Jennifer Aniston has now revealed her hopes to appear on another big stage. In an interview with People, the actress, 56, revealed her desire to perform on Broadway. 'I definitely want to do a Broadway play,' she told the outlet. 'That's on my bucket list.' The problem is, the actress, who has off-Broadway experience from her early career, needs time to focus on 'finding the right piece, the right material.' 'But I absolutely have to do a play on Broadway,' she stressed. The interview appears to be the first she has conducted since an alleged stalker trespassed into Aniston's home last month. The busy actress, who has done both TV and film, also admitted she is 'forcing' herself to take a break. 'I'm a bit of a workaholic, so I'm forcing myself to try to take some time to travel and not work,' she said. It comes a month after Aniston endured a major scare at her home. Last month, a man named Jimmy Wayne Carwyle allegedly trespassed onto Aniston's Bel-Air property by ramming through the front gates - with the actress being home at the time of the incident. He was arrested by LAPD officers after being apprehended by Aniston's own security team - but a subsequent ruling declared that Carwyle is mentally unfit to stand trial. 'He is not competent to stand trial so although I know it's not the outcome my client would have preferred at this time I would submit on those two reports,' public defender Robert Krauss informed the court during a hearing last month following a second analysis that concluded Carwyle was mentally unfit to continue with the case. Deputy District Attorney William Donovan said: 'The people will also submit.' And with that, Judge Cavalluzzi said from the bench, 'The court finds that the defendant is not presently competent to stand trial. Criminal proceedings are suspended.' An 'interest of justice' hearing was scheduled for June 26 when Aniston or her attorney Blair Berk will be able to provide impact statements. A more detailed report on Carwyle will be compiled by independent analyst Dr. Tumu at a cost of $1,100 to determine how to proceed with treatment for him. Carwyle was arrested by LAPD officers on May 5 after ramming his car into the front gates of the Friends star's breathtaking $21 million hilltop Bel-Air home. Prosecutors say Carwyle 'repeatedly' harassed Aniston between March 1, 2023 to May 5, 2025, sending her 'unwanted social media, voicemail, and email messages.' In addition to stalking and vandalism charges, Carwyle was facing a charge for aggravating the threat of great bodily harm.
