After a thrilling 10-run win against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match on 18 May in Jaipur, Punjab Kings (PBKS) pacer Arshdeep Singh shared a hilarious post-match moment with Yashasvi Jaiswal. During his conversation with Jaiswal, Arshdeep cheekily trolled Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan with 'win or learn' reference.
Arshdeep shared a fun Instagram video with Jaiswal after the match on Sunday. In the video, Arshdeep jokingly says, 'Bohot maara be, dhaaga hi khol diya' (You smashed me so hard that the ball's seam tore apart), a famous dialogue from Mahendra Singh Dhoni's biopic 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story'.

Jaiswal laughingly replied to Arshdeep's joke, saying 'Ekdum, maine bola tha isko, mai maarunga ek din' (Exactly, I told him I'd hit him one day). But the highlight was Arshdeep's witty caption on his post. He took a friendly dig at Mohammad Rizwan's famous post-match 'win or learn' comment 'Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn… and then win.'
Arshdeep Singh trolls Mohammad Rizwan
Arshdeep wrote, 'Sometimes win, sometimes learn & win.' Rizwan has faced a lot of trolling in recent months, mostly because of his broken English during interviews. One of the biggest meme trends has come from his now-famous 'win or learn quote. Rizwan himself addressed the trolling during the start of PSL 2025. In an emotional statement, he admitted that he never went to school properly and that's why he struggles with English.
Despite Jaiswal's brilliant batting, RR lost the match to PBKS by 10 runs thanks to Harpreet Brar's outstanding effort with the ball. The Royals got eliminated from IPL 2025 because of the loss. Meanwhile, PBKS managed to qualify for the playoffs after Gujarat Titans beat Delhi Capitals in the next match of the day. GT and RCB also qualified after that.
With only one spot remaining to be confirmed, there is a three-way battle going on between Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, and Lucknow Super Giants. LSG are playing Suinrisers Hyderabad tonight and a loss for them will mean elimination from the IPL 2025 playoff race. It will be interesting to see who takes the remaining spot in the top four.

Yashasvi Jaiswal outlines KL Rahul's impact after opening day ton at Headingley against England

India's magician with the bat, Yashasvi Jaiswal , gave away the secrets that helped him flourish in his debut Test in the demanding conditions of England on the opening day of the series opener of the five-match series at Headingley . With determination in his eyes and a sublime touch in his robust technique, Jaiswal dazzled with his rollicking 101(158) against England's fast bowling attack, bereft of its pace wizards James Anderson and Stuart Broad. He continued his scorching form and boasts a unique feat to his name. Jaiswal has hammered Test centuries in his debut fixture in three different countries: the West Indies, Australia, and now England. The 23-year-old's dominance on English soil stems from his ability to grasp areas to target while conversing with his experienced KL Rahul . by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like She Was Everyone's Dream Girl In 90's, This Is Her Recently Cash Roadster Undo "KL Rahul is very experienced. I can understand a lot by talking to him -- where the runs can be made and how we can carry on the innings. It was a lot of fun to play with him. He also came with India A. We did a lot of preparation and batting together, so we got a lot of ideas to understand each other," Jaiswal said while speaking to Star Sports . Before stepping on Headingley's dry surface, Jaiswal refined his technique during the two unofficial Tests against England Lions, training camp in Beckenham and the intra-squad match held days before the first Test. Live Events "We did a lot of preparation before coming here. It was a lot of fun to play, and it felt very good to bat. It was very good -- I enjoyed it a lot and learned a lot," Jaiswal added. The young swashbuckler outlined his approach and the way he applies himself on the field. He offers himself more time on the field while preparing himself mentally to extend his stay on the crease for as long as possible. "I try to give myself more time to play my shots. I try to be mentally ready and aim to bat as long as possible. I try to create a good platform for the team. If I am set, I try to take it deep and play till the end. I keep telling myself to keep playing. Whatever happens, I will manage and always keep this mindset," he said. Jaiswal was undone by England captain Ben Stokes ' golden touch. Jaiswal went to drive the ball, but the ball seamed off the pitch to beat the outside edge and rattle the timber. Captain Shubman Gill and his deputy Rishabh Pant forged an unbeaten 138-run partnership to see off the day, ensuring India remained unscathed, at a venue where India hasn't tasted victory since 2002.

IND vs ENG, Leeds Weather Live Updates: Thunderstorm Warning For Day 2

India vs England, Leeds Weather Today Live Updates: India couldn't have hoped for a better start in the newly-minted Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, with captain Shubman Gill leading the charge with an unbeaten 127 (175), winged by Rishabh Pant (65*), Yashasvi Jaiswal (101) and KL Rahul (42). With 359/3 on the board on a mostly flat surface, they are in a dominating position. If they can bat another session on Day 2 mostly unscathed, the management will need to think about the prospect of trying to bat for just one innings and putting enough runs to bowl the hosts out twice. England were left wanting for experience in their bowling attack, which was spared from further embarrassment by captain-all-rounder Ben Stokes' two wickets. They'll want to come up with better plans and fresher ideas, though with India's batting depth till number nine, it won't be enough to overturn this Test. However, what might help them is rain. The troublesome English weather remained at bay on Day 1, but there is a significantly higher chance of rain on Day 2, which India won't like. A stop-start contest will break the visitors' momentum and decrease some crucial time from the contest. Catch all the weather updates here!
