Dunelm cuts 30% off 'comfortable' £55 sun lounger in flash sale
Dunelm cuts 30% off 'comfortable' £55 sun lounger in flash sale The Amsterdam Charcoal Lounger is, according to shoppers "perfect for relaxing in the garden" And relax... and save money too (Image: Dunelm ) Dunelm has slashed the price of a "very comfortable" sun lounger in its latest sale, offering the Amsterdam Charcoal Lounger at a reduced price of £55.30, down from its usual £79, but only until midnight on Sunday, June 22 according to the company's website. The grey lounger boasts 'breathable' mesh fabric and comes with a detachable pillow. The retailer's website suggests it's perfect for various outdoor activities, but customers particularly praise it as "perfect for relaxing in the garden". For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, Dunelm also offers the Helsinki Lounger at £35, available in four colours. It has a 4.5-star rating, slightly lower than the Amsterdam Lounger's 4.7 stars. In comparison, Argos is selling the new Habitat Cali Metal Sun Lounger in orange for £45, which has received exclusively 5-star reviews to date. READ MORE: Cooling cushions, neck fans and other genius ways to keep cool in a heatwave ALSO: Amazon slashes price of 'massive and brilliant' paddling pool big enough for adults The adjustable Amsterdam lounger has four and five star reviews (Image: Dunelm ) The Amsterdam lounger's notable 30% £23.70 discount and its consistent four and five-star customer feedback make it a standout choice on Dunelm's website, reports the Liverpool Echo. A satisfied customer named Andy comments: "Very comfortable reclining lounger. Well constructed all weather covering is perfect for relaxing in garden Tempted to buy a second one, good value." One satisfied customer says: "Very, very comfortable recliner. This is so comfortable! I bought one of these and the Helsinki, cheaper ones, to compare. The Helsinki is comfortable and good value but this is next level! The padding is very comfortable and it's slightly longer and wider, I'm 5'8" and this is better for me. It folds up easily and is light and easy to store. The locking mechanism allows you to recline (Image: Dunelm ) Buyers will need to keep it out of the rain as the cushion doesn't come off to wash or dry, and one person's feedback added a comment on the locking facility on the lounger, saying: "Tilts back easily but as others have said the locking mechanism doesn't lock, it's no problem if you are on a level surface but if you are on a slight downhill you'll slowly tilt upright!" One purchaser was not worried though, saying, "I've just bought another so we don't fight over this one. It's more than double the price of the Helsinki (when being sold at full price) and you can leave that one out to get wet but I think it's worth it for the comfort." The head rest is a bonus for comfortable sitting but cannot be detached (Image: Dunelm ) Article continues below Another buyer gave the Amsterdam sun lounger four stars, noting one area for improvement: "Fantastic lounger very comfortable and stylish. Love that the armrests are thicker than my last loungers, a lot more comfy and roomy. Relaxing in these is lovely and the material keeps you cool. I dropped my rating by one star due to the fact that these don't recline back enough for my liking, just a few inches more would make them perfect." Alternatively, customers can purchase the Argos Home Folding Metal Zero Gravity Sun Lounger in grey similar to Dunelm's Amsterdam chair is priced £45, and also in a choice of teal or blue too, if bringing a pop of colour to the garden or balcony is a priority. The yellow version is currently reduced to £30.15, find out more here.

Inflatable garden pool loved by Zara McDermott is slashed to £35 in Amazon sale
Last year Zara McDermott shared her genius Amazon find for staying cool in the garden, and now the inflatable tanning pool is slashed to £35 in the sale With this weekend set to be another scorching one, we'll all be planning on spending as much time outdoors in the garden as possible. However even if you don't intend on doing anything more than lying around, the heat can end up being too much. Then we remembered one of Zara McDermott 's most brilliant purchases which she shared last year; the Sloosh Inflatable Tanning Pool. The inflatable combines a paddling pool and a sun lounger to create somewhere comfortable to relax whilst still keeping you cool, and it's currently on sale down to £34.99. You can choose from either a XL pool which is large enough for two people, or a size large which is just the right size for one person, or a couple of kids. The prices do vary depending on which size you get, with the large one reduced from £39.99 to £34.99, whilst the XL one is priced at £49.99, although these prices also vary depending on which colourway you choose. Last year on her Instagram stories, Zara shared a video showing just how quick and easy it was to set up the inflatable. It can be inflated in minutes – either manually or with an air pump – and then filled with water using a garden hose for a refreshing way to cool off. While Zara enjoyed using the Sloosh Inflatable Tanning Pool in her back garden, it's also safe to use on the water, making it a great travel essential. You can use it with or without water inside, and it features a wraparound rope so you can tether it to a boat, dock, or another float—ideal for added safety if you're heading into the sea. For extra comfort, it includes an inflatable pillow and two built-in 3" cup holders, so you can stay hydrated while you relax. Made from durable PVC, it's tough enough to resist snags or punctures, even on rougher surfaces. If you do just want a regular pool to cool off in, this Bestway Rectangular 7ft Paddling Pool from Argos is a steal at £20. You can also pick a similar Intex Swim Centre Family Inflatable Pool which measures 2.6 metres long and 1.75 metres wide and is priced £24.49 on Amazon. Amazon shoppers, however, are raving about Zara's Sloosh Inflatable Tanning Pool. One wrote: 'I love it! It was easy to inflate, I used an electric pump to make it faster. Very comfortable, you can relax in the sun. Finally something that holds air as I have tried many others and ended up returning but this one is really good.' Someone else agreed: 'I just love it. I'm 7ft tall and it fits me just perfectly, and the colour and design look stunning in the sunshine. The ribbed base and pillow give you a perfect level of comfort (I keep falling asleep on it), and the pillow can be removed as well. You can also fill it with water to prevent yourself from getting too hot, and it also has a drainage plug.' Some weren't as happy with their order, with one writing: 'Considering the price point, this is good but I had to return the first one as it had a hole in it.' Another chimed in: 'I wanted to love this so much. Easy to set up and great cushion but got a hole during our first use.' Others, however, were thrilled, with one writing: 'Easy to pump up lots of room, saves water too,' whilst others agreed: 'Love it easy to put up and put away and exactly what I needed as a pool would be too much for me to deal with.' Finally someone else wrote: 'Loved this through the summer, fill with pillows and blankets to read in the sun or fill with water and relax. Easy to use.' 'Perfect' Stanley water bottle that keeps drinks cold 'for hours' now 42% off in deal stack
As the mercury rises across the UK, staying hydrated is both increasingly important and increasingly difficult. With temperatures reaching up to 30 degrees in some areas, standard water bottles struggle to keep beverages cool, resulting in lukewarm drinks. Meanwhile, lugging a full bottle of water around adds to feeling hot and bothered, meaning sometimes it's tempting to not even bother. Stanley's latest water bottle launch tackles both of these problems in one. Shoppers have praised the AeroLight IceFlow bottle for its efficiency, with some saying they left the bottle in their hot cars for hours, only to return to still-chilled drinks. Meanwhile, its lightweight design makes it easier to carry around in the heat. The bottle usually costs £40 direct from Stanley, although currently Argos has it available in both black and white for £38. However smart shoppers can save 42% on even Argos' discounted price by stacking deals courtesy of money saving website TopCashback. When signing up with TopCashback, consumers get a free £15 new member bonus alongside a percentage of cashback on qualifying spends at thousands of qualifying retailers including Argos. This means new Argos shoppers would effectively pay £22.53 for the £38 bottle, while existing Argos customers would pay £22.68 for it after receiving the cashback. High-tech water bottles have surged in popularity in recent years, not just for hydration purposes but in many cases also as a fashion statement. Thanks to influencers and celebrities like Molly-Mae Hague, Stanley's iconic Quencher is arguably the most recognised option and is available in a vast array of colours, collaborations, and sizes. However, brands like Ninja and Yeti also offer bestselling and highly-rated alternatives, providing consumers with more choices than ever before, reports the Mirror. Elsewhere, Ocean Bottle has environmentally friendly styles which help tackle pollution while Aquaphor's City Cool bottle offers an activated carbon filter perfect for removing impurities in tap water as you drink. These on-trend water bottles are made from stainless steel, making them durable and eco-friendly. Meanwhile, double-walled designs ensure that contents remain cold even in high temperatures. However, while many bottles prioritise high capacity, this can make them cumbersome to carry around. For instance, the largest Stanley Quencher bottle holds 1.2 litres of liquid, which equates to a hefty weight of 4.2lbs or nearly a kilogram. This is why many shoppers have switched to the brand's newer AeroLight IceFlow, with the 600ml-capacity design made from 90% recycled stainless steel that weighs significantly less than its counterparts. The bottle boasts is dishwasher-safe, and comes with a leakproof straw and fast-flow spout as well as a wide opening for effortless cleaning. Stanley says that it maintains the cold temperature of beverages for up to 10 hours and offers an impressive 25-year warranty. Although there is limited feedback due to the product's recent launch in UK, early reviews on both the Argos and Stanley websites are overwhelmingly positive. One buyer praised the ease of cleaning it, saying: "I'm absolutely in love with this bottle. I like how it could be fully open for easy cleaning. Even when it's left in the car when it's sunny and very warm, water is still cold inside." Another user commented: "This bottle is fab for travelling with and holds a great amount of water without it being too heavy." Other shoppers are praising the AeroLight in their reviews for its ability to keep water 'super cold and fresh' and have called it 'brilliant,' with some hailing it 'the best buy ever. ' Another happy shopper said: "Recently brought this, lives up to its name. Happy with the product, it's easy clean, keeps the drink cold and is lightweight. Great for work or anywhere you need it." Nevertheless, some enthusiasts believe it doesn't quite match up to Stanley's top-seller, with one saying: "Does not keep cold for long like the Quencher, which was disappointing for this price." How to save 42% on a Stanley water bottle: Sign up to TopCashback for free via this link. Search for Argos on TopCashback, click through and buy the item normally. Get £15 cashback when you spend £15 or more on any item at Argos - including the Aerolight water bottle. The cashback should track to your TopCashback 'Earnings page' within seven days of your purchase where it can be withdrawn from.
