Inflatable garden pool loved by Zara McDermott is slashed to £35 in Amazon sale

Daily Mirror8 hours ago

Last year Zara McDermott shared her genius Amazon find for staying cool in the garden, and now the inflatable tanning pool is slashed to £35 in the sale
With this weekend set to be another scorching one, we'll all be planning on spending as much time outdoors in the garden as possible. However even if you don't intend on doing anything more than lying around, the heat can end up being too much.
Then we remembered one of Zara McDermott 's most brilliant purchases which she shared last year; the Sloosh Inflatable Tanning Pool. The inflatable combines a paddling pool and a sun lounger to create somewhere comfortable to relax whilst still keeping you cool, and it's currently on sale down to £34.99.
You can choose from either a XL pool which is large enough for two people, or a size large which is just the right size for one person, or a couple of kids. The prices do vary depending on which size you get, with the large one reduced from £39.99 to £34.99, whilst the XL one is priced at £49.99, although these prices also vary depending on which colourway you choose.
Last year on her Instagram stories, Zara shared a video showing just how quick and easy it was to set up the inflatable. It can be inflated in minutes – either manually or with an air pump – and then filled with water using a garden hose for a refreshing way to cool off.
While Zara enjoyed using the Sloosh Inflatable Tanning Pool in her back garden, it's also safe to use on the water, making it a great travel essential. You can use it with or without water inside, and it features a wraparound rope so you can tether it to a boat, dock, or another float—ideal for added safety if you're heading into the sea.
For extra comfort, it includes an inflatable pillow and two built-in 3" cup holders, so you can stay hydrated while you relax. Made from durable PVC, it's tough enough to resist snags or punctures, even on rougher surfaces.
If you do just want a regular pool to cool off in, this Bestway Rectangular 7ft Paddling Pool from Argos is a steal at £20. You can also pick a similar Intex Swim Centre Family Inflatable Pool which measures 2.6 metres long and 1.75 metres wide and is priced £24.49 on Amazon.
Amazon shoppers, however, are raving about Zara's Sloosh Inflatable Tanning Pool. One wrote: 'I love it! It was easy to inflate, I used an electric pump to make it faster. Very comfortable, you can relax in the sun. Finally something that holds air as I have tried many others and ended up returning but this one is really good.'
Someone else agreed: 'I just love it. I'm 7ft tall and it fits me just perfectly, and the colour and design look stunning in the sunshine. The ribbed base and pillow give you a perfect level of comfort (I keep falling asleep on it), and the pillow can be removed as well. You can also fill it with water to prevent yourself from getting too hot, and it also has a drainage plug.'
Some weren't as happy with their order, with one writing: 'Considering the price point, this is good but I had to return the first one as it had a hole in it.'
Another chimed in: 'I wanted to love this so much. Easy to set up and great cushion but got a hole during our first use.'
Others, however, were thrilled, with one writing: 'Easy to pump up lots of room, saves water too,' whilst others agreed: 'Love it easy to put up and put away and exactly what I needed as a pool would be too much for me to deal with.'
Finally someone else wrote: 'Loved this through the summer, fill with pillows and blankets to read in the sun or fill with water and relax. Easy to use.'

Zara McDermott reveals she's 'taking a step back' from 'negative' social media just days after boyfriend Louis Tomlinson and ex Sam Thompson's feud was exposed

has revealed she's 'taking a step back' from 'negative' social media just days after boyfriend Louis Tomlinson and ex Sam Thompson 's feud was exposed. The Strictly star, 28, took to her Instagram Stories with a lengthy post following MailOnline exclusively revealing the One Direction singer, 33, brutally snubbing former Made In Chelsea star Sam, 32, after the full-time whistle blew at Soccer Aid. Zara went public with Louis in March, following her split from the I'm A Celeb winner on New Years Day after a five year romance. Taking to social media she thanked fans for their support over her recent documentary, before revealing she would be taking a break to be 'more present'. She wrote: 'I also just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who messaged me with regards to the story I posted the other day. If you didn't see it; I spoke about developing my next documentary and how I've been thinking of how to create a project about domestic abuse, coercive control and tech abuse'. 'I had thousands of message and I'm still going through them, but I wanted to say the biggest thank you ever. It's so nice speaking to you all because I've definitely taken a bit of a step back from socials to focus on my documentaries and other work / just focusing on being more present recently'. She went on: 'Social media feels quite heavy and a negative space sometimes... so to be able to feel like we can work together to do something super positive is a great feeling. thank you again. forever grateful to all of you who continue to support the work i do. it really means SO much'. In a video obtained by MailOnline from Old Trafford on Sunday, Louis was seen embracing players and coaching staff from both sets of teams before conducting a TV interview. But the singer ignored Sam when he came into view, turning his attention away and grimacing, before walking over to exchange pleasantries with other Soccer Aid stars. Insiders were anticipating an awkward encounter between the pair after Louis started dating Zara shortly after the Soccer Aid squads were announced. While Sam and Louis did their best to dispel speculation of a feud by avoiding each other during the Soccer Aid training and match, the video, taken by a fan, proves animosity between the pair rumbles on. An insider added: 'Louis is seen literally embracing every squad member on both sides, except Sam. And the fact he looks away as soon as he comes into eyesight says it all. 'Given the charity context of the occasion there was no way either Louis or Sam were going to let their emotions get the better of them, they were there to raise money and succeeded. But there's clearly no love lost between them.' They avoided each other during a training session in the buildup to the match at Soccer Aid HQ, Champneys in Tring and were stationed on different sides of the changing room at Old Trafford, as they managed to keep any possible tension at bay. Insiders were anticipating an awkward encounter between the pair after Louis started dating Zara shortly after the Soccer Aid squads were announced Before Sunday's match, which raised over £15million for UNICEF, The Sun revealed Sam and Louis both attended a team bonding session at the squad's hotel to ease any tension. Sam raised over £2million for the charity by taking part in a gruelling challenge, transporting the Soccer Aid match ball from Stamford Bridge, West London, to Old Trafford, Manchester, a 260-mile journey, via foot and bike. He managed to complete the task but picked up so many injuries, the reality star was unable to feature prominently in the actual match. The England teammates did not appear on the field together during the game, which was eventually won by the Rest of the World team, after Louis was withdrawn at half-time and Sam was introduced as a substitute with minutes remaining. Speaking on his podcast, Staying Relevant, which he co-hosts with close friend Pete Wicks, Sam discussed overcoming a difficult start to the year by thoroughly committing himself to his Soccer Aid challenge. Sam explained: 'I have never been so low but also so high at the same time... One of the things that I will say is that mentally I don't think there was a better time for me to do that. 'On Thursday, I left a lot on that road, I left a lot there and it was one of the most mentally freeing times I've ever had in my entire life. 'We rode and ran for the longest duration, all the way down the Welsh border and we finished in Liverpool, you know I'm a bit of a talker, but it was so hard, you just had to channel something. 'I left a lot of the year that I've had on that road, and I didn't speak for an hour and a half. I was riding the bike while crying for an hour and a half just tears streaming down my face just riding like I have never ridden before. 'I have never felt so emotionally depleted but also at peace.'

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding in Venice is approaching: Everything to Know

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his fiancée, Emmy-winning journalist Lauren Sanchez, are getting set to tie the knot in one of the year's most anticipated weddings. '(I'm) very excited about it,' she told Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie while appearing on TODAY in November 2024. '(I'm) thinking about the dress, I have to say. I do have a Pinterest. I'm just like every other bride. So I do have a Pinterest board.' Sanchez, 55, is also a pilot and children's book author whom many fans may recognize for her work as a correspondent on 'Extra.' She said she is amazed at the trajectory of her own life. 'I never thought at 54 — I'm going to be 55 — that I'd be an author, that I'd be getting married,' she said on TODAY. 'I mean, life is just beginning. When I was 20, I thought, 'Oh my gosh, life is over at 50.' Let me tell you: It is not, ladies. It is not over. It is just beginning.' When is Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's wedding? The couple's wedding celebration is expected to take place from June 24 to June 26 in Venice, Italy, a spokesperson for the mayor of Venice had told CNN. Where is it? The wedding will take place in Venice, Italy. The impending nuptials have sparked protests from people who are concerned that the couple are taking over the city and causing overcrowding, as tourists have descended upon Venice. Despite the outrage, the Municipality of Venice said in a statement in March that the city is ready to oversee the wedding. 'The many speculations and fake news circulating about Jeff Bezos' wedding are completely unfounded,' the municipality said. 'Only 200 guests will have been invited and therefore it will be easy for Venice to accommodate such an event, without any disruption whatsoever to the city, its residents and visitors.' Who is on the guest list? The guest list hasn't been released, but People reported Sanchez's bachelorette party in May featured the likes of Katy Perry — who flew aboard with Sanchez on Bezos' Blue Origin all-female trip to space in April — Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Eva Longoria. Vogue reports the party had other heavy hitters on hand, too, including Fox Sports' Charissa Thompson and Veronica Grazer, whose husband is Hollywood producer Brian Grazer. When did Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez get engaged? The couple were first romantically linked in 2019, according to People. Bezos and Sanchez announced their engagement in 2023. Earlier that year, Sanchez gushed about Bezos in an Instagram post for his birthday. 'Happy birthday to the man of my dreams, who lights up my world with his laughter and kind heart,' she wrote. 'You have shown me that no great love is not bravely fought for. Thank you for always being by my side and for being the most loving and supportive partner. I am so grateful for the memories we have made and the adventures yet to come. Here's to many more birthdays filled with love and laughter. 'Te amo con todo mi corazon,' she ended the post, which is Spanish for, 'I love you with all my heart.' Bezos was previously married to MacKenzie Scott from 1993 to 2019. The couple have four children together. Sanchez was previously married to Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell, with whom she has two kids. She also has a son with her former partner Tony Gonzalez, a retired NFL star.

EXCLUSIVE Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have rented out ENTIRE Italian island for six days for their glamorous wedding

It's the luxurious, extravagant event that everyone's been waiting years for - and one that some people still can't believe is happening - the union of Amazon tycoon Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. After a two-year-long engagement, the day is almost upon us, as the power couple are set to finally get married next week in Venice, Italy, in a summer extravaganza. The guest list is thought to have less than 200 people, with suspected guests including A-listers like Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and even members of the Trump family. The Amazon boss has booked the Scuola Grande della Misericordia, one of the largest and grandest buildings in the historical center of Venice, as part of the multi-day-long extravaganza of celebrations. Up until now, little has been known about what may be dubbed as the wedding of the year - but a source in Italy has exclusively revealed to the Daily Mail all of the intimate details that you need to know. According to the insider, Bezos' $500 million superyacht, Koru, will be moored off the coast of San Georgio Maggiore island, which is home to the famous Basilica of San Giorgio Maggiore, a 16th century Benedictine church. They shared that the island is 'off-limits to visitors' from June 24 to June 29, with the mayor believing that the wedding will take place on the yacht - although The Misericodria, an iconic event space in Venice, has been boked out from June 26 to June 28. It's unclear if the space is related to their wedding, but the insider added that a private tender service is said to be taking guests from the island to the yacht. In addition to the private tenders, the source revealed that around 60 of Venice's water taxis are reserved for the week, with some of the 400 gondolas on the island out of commission as well. The insider also confirmed that Venice is expecting '200 guests who will stay at local hotels,' although it's unclear which ones. Some of the most expensive and high-end hotels in the Italian city include The Aman, where you can book a room for over $2,700 per night, and Hotel Cipriani, which goes for over $2,000 per night. Once their guests arrive, they will be treated to a few luxurious surprises, of course. The source confirmed to the Daily Mail that local bakery Rosa Salva Venetia will be providing pastries for the extravagant weekend. The delicious menu items at the bakery include tiramisu, flaky, cream-filled pastries, and fritelli, a traditional Italian fried treat. However, Rosa Salva Venetia will not be providing the wedding cake for the loved-up couple. The insider also confirmed that Venice is expecting '200 guests who will stay at local hotels,' although it's unclear which ones Our source claimed that a celebrity wedding planner, who is not working this event, has heard that guests will receive 'opulent' gifts just for attending the nuptials. And it looks like all of this opulence is thanks to Sanchez herself, as her hubby-to-be revealed in a 2023 Vogue interview that he wouldn't dare get involved with wedding planning. 'Oh, God, no. Do I look that dumb?' Bezos told the outlet when he was asked if he had a big part in the preparations. During the interview, the future Mrs. Bezos listed Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, and Valentino as some of her favorite designers, but didn't share anything about which one will make her gown - or gowns, for that matter. Separate sources recently told the Daily Mail that the festivities are expected to cost anywhere from $15 to $20 million. Many things went into the estimate of the total cost, including transportation fees, her wedding dress and catering. While their wedding is rapidly approaching, a psychic who has accurately predicted a number of monumental world events told the Daily Mail earlier this week that believes the pair will be divorced by 2029. Athos Salomé, 38, from Brazil, is often referred to as the 'Living Nostradamus' due to his numerous accurate predictions - including his forecasting of the coronavirus pandemic, Queen Elizabeth II's death and the Microsoft global outage. The insider shared that the island is 'off-limits to visitors' from June 24 to June 29, with the mayor believing that the wedding will take place on Jeff's yacht (stock image) He said that their wedding will go forward as planned, he believes their 'motivations' are 'far from romantic love.' 'The marriage is more of a contract for image, power and legacy perpetuation than a celebration of affection,' Salomé told the Daily Mail. 'Lauren embodies the archetype of the idealized woman in Bezos' new public phase. The union will last for a while, but it is not eternal,' he continued. The clairvoyant revealed that he's 'certain' their marriage has an 'end' - and claimed that it will be between 2028 and 2029, if not sooner. 'It will be a clean divorce, without scandal. A meticulously planned separation, protected by confidentiality clauses and image strategies,' he explained.
