Nicki Minaj makes statement move after sister Ming Li cast in 'Baddies Gone Wild' by Natalie Nunn
Nicki Minaj has reportedly unfollowed reality television producer Natalie Nunn on Instagram following the casting of Minaj's younger half-sister, Ming Li, in the upcoming series Baddies Gone Wild.
The development was revealed via a post by Twitter aggregator SOUND | Victor Baez, who shared screenshots showing Minaj no longer follows Nunn's account.
The decision appears linked to the new Zeus Network spin-off, which premieres Sunday from Brazil. In a preview clip, Nunn interviews Ming Li and alludes to past tension with Minaj, referencing lyrics from Minaj's 2023 verse on Lil Uzi Vert's "Endless Fashion".
In the track, Minaj raps: 'Ayo, even if my name was Natalie Nunn / You b*tches still couldn't chin-check me.' Though previously taken in stride by Nunn, who publicly thanked Minaj for the mention, the recent remarks on the show suggest deeper issues may have surfaced.
Ming Li, also known as Ming Luanli, is an 18-year-old aspiring rapper and entrepreneur. She is the half-sister of Nicki Minaj, sharing the same father, Robert Maraj. Despite their family link, Ming has spoken openly about her distant relationship with Minaj. In interviews, she said she was bullied due to public perceptions about their connection and expressed a desire to be known beyond her sister's fame.
