Gemma Collins' fears over wedding - 'She doesn't want to change for anyone'
Reality star Gemma Collins has increased security at her home after a 'threatening' stalker reveals he knows where she lives, and a source reveals how it's affected her wedding plans
Gemma Collins was left 'shaken' last week after receiving a menacing letter from a stalker who vowed to 'track her down'. The petrified former TOWIE star called the police after the letter arrived in the post – and has beefed up security at the rural Essex home she shares with her businessman fiancé, Rami Hawash.
Now, a source says that the ordeal has been giving Gemma, 44, sleepless nights. 'It's awful for her. She had such a lovely time at DJ Fat Tony's wedding and then got terribly ill and felt really low, then this awful letter arrived. 'Her home is her sanctuary, especially her garden. When she's at home, she's just Gemma, not 'The GC'. So for something to arrive at her home address, especially something so threatening and unpleasant, gave her a real shock.
Our source says Gemma felt 'sheer terror' at having her safe space 'invaded'. 'She's been losing sleep over it and is panicked so has upped her security, and she's worried about leaving the house.
'In the middle of planning her wedding with Rami, this is the last thing Gemma wants. But she realises that being in the public eye has its risks, and as much as she still wants her perfect day, she's thinking more about security measures for that, too. It's spooked her badly – but she won't let it ruin her big day.'
The star – who got engaged for the third time on Valentine's Day 2024 and says she will tie the knot next year – said the letter described its author's hatred for Gemma and that he would track her down, a source claimed to a newspaper.
They continued, 'Gemma was left shaken and scared for her safety after she received a threatening and abusive letter from a man expressing his extreme dislike for her and using menacing language.
'It was really nasty and made reference to tracking her down, so she called the police straight away. It was alarming that this man knew her home address, but she's already upped security and has round-the-clock guard dogs and cameras on site.
'She is always incredibly friendly with all her fans and happy to stop for pictures and a chat, so to have someone send such an unpleasant letter has really shocked her.'
Police have since launched an investigation, and the source says Gemma is thankful they've taken the threat seriously. They claim the reality star – who is being supported by family and friends – was reminded of Holly Willoughby 's stalker ordeal last year. Gavin Plumb is now in prison serving a life sentence after a foiled plot to kidnap, rape and kill the former This Morning presenter.
'She thought about what had happened to Holly Willoughby and her kidnap threat ordeal so didn't want to take any chances.'
Sadly, it's not the first time the star has had a brush with the dark side of fame. She told a podcast in May that she has had several stalkers over the years, who had threatened her and sent 'terrifying' letters to her boutique in Brentwood.
She said it 'played havoc on her mind' and was the reason she moved away from front-of-house work at the boutique. 'No one would believe the b****y crap I've had to deal with,' she confessed. 'I've had a woman stalker who wrote me a letter in white gloves and wanted to kill me. People would wish me dead. I'd get all sorts at the shop. People are weird. And that's why I came away from my shop.'
And, in 2019, it was revealed that Gemma had called the police after being targeted by a stalker – a man who she claimed had previously verbally abused her outside her home over six days. The experience was so traumatic that it made her question if she could stay in Essex.
Indeed, our source says, 'It's not the first time she's been through things like this, but that doesn't make her less scared. She's had to change parts of her life before due to serious threats, and as much as she doesn't want to have to change for anyone, she wants to feel safe.
'She'd love to say, 'It doesn't affect me,' but it does. It immediately made her think of what Holly Willoughby went through, and that you can't just ignore something so serious.'
On top of that, earlier this month, Gemma had been battling pneumonia. 'It's shocking, I've had it for over three weeks and was given steroids by my doctor,' she said at the time. 'I had to take them to get through DJ Fat Tony's wedding. But I'm off them now and the sickness is kicking back in.
'It's so frustrating because I normally have so much energy and I'm always loving life. But now I get really breathless really quickly and I feel like I'm dying.'

Parents of hour-old baby abandoned in multi-story car park finally tracked down
Sarah Meyers was dubbed the 'Baby in Pink' because she was left wrapped in a pink towel. Now she's the youngest ever searcher on Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace Abandoned in a multistory carpark at barely an hour old, wrapped in a pink towel, Sarah Meyer is now the youngest ever searcher on ITV 's hit show Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace. Dubbed the 'Baby in Pink' in the press, Sarah was found as a newborn in the car park in Camberley, Surrey, in 2001, wrapped in a pink towel and white shawl inside a holdall. The discovery sparked a nationwide search for her mother, with a police sergeant even appearing with Sarah on This Morning with Judy Finnegan. Judy said: 'This little sprog was abandoned in a multi-story carpark. She was barely an hour old, weighing just 7lbs.' But sadly, despite many appeals, Sarah's birth mother did not come forward, and Sarah was adopted at three months by Jo and Pierre, who already had an adopted daughter Jess. In emotional scenes to be screened on an upcoming episode of Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace, 24-year-old Sarah tries to find out her birth story. Hosted by Davina McCall and Nicky Campbell, the spin-off helps foundlings, people left as babies, often in extraordinary places such as a phone box, a cardboard box or on church steps. It was revealed that when Sarah was found, her umbilical cord had been cut, but it hadn't been clamped, which suggests it could have been a home birth. Police sent Sarah straight to hospital, where nursing staff took her under their wing. Sarah, who still has the towel and holdall, says: 'On the news, I was the Baby in Pink because I was in the pink towel wrapped in the blanket. 'I was named Caroline after the nurse who looked after me and Pembrooke after my car park. It's like a little secret identity of mine. Now my middle name is Caroline.' Sarah and her sister Jess were always told they were adopted. She says: 'I want my birth parents to know that they shouldn't feel any remorse because I've had a wonderful life. But I'd like an explanation because it is something that is missing, to know where I come from. Why was I abandoned?' In the show, Sarah returns to the car park where she was found and notices she was left in a busy area and wonders who actually left her. She says: 'I was an evening baby and 30 minutes to an hour old. So I was literally fresh out of the womb.' In a police evidence box, Sarah also has a letter, sent to the police ten days after she was found - but the typed, unstamped letter gave no clues. It reads: 'Please look after my little girl. I love her so much, but just can't cope with another baby. Thank you to all the police officers involved, hospital staff, and the members of the public for their help. Thank you.' Sarah meets up with Police Sergeant Wendy Whiting, who was the first on the scene and stayed across the case. Wendy, who reveals the lady who found Sarah at first thought she was a bomb, says: 'I remember the radio message coming out and thinking, 'Did I just hear that right?' An abandoned baby, no clothes on, we were concerned.' Given that Sarah is only 24, the LLF research team quickly manages to discover significant news - they track down both Sarah's birth parents. Sarah's birth mother was in her late teens when Sarah was born and already had a child. Unfortunately, being found has proved difficult and she doesn't respond to the team's approach. Sarah, who now lives in Northern Ireland with her partner Shannon and has a cybersecurity degree, says: 'It's good to hear that she's at least alive and is out there. It leaves the door open for her to come and meet me if she wants to. I'll never close that door. I respect that it's such a big thing for her. I understand that she might not be ready. I want her to see that I've lived a good life and that I'm not angry with her.' In more positive news, Sarah's father, who has a partner and daughter, reveals he had no idea that she existed but would be thrilled to get to know her. Staying anonymous to protect the birth mother's identity, he is choked with emotion as he says: 'It's very hard to process, that I didn't know, that I wasn't there. 'It's very upsetting to know that my daughter was just left there in that situation. Anything could have happened to her.' He wonders if his late mother, who worked on the hospital unit where Sarah would have been taken, might have seen her baby granddaughter. In true Long Lost Family style, there is an exchange of photos and then a tearful reunion as Sarah finally meets her birth father, and the pair notice physical similarities as well as common interests. He says: 'My daughters can get to know each other and we can all be a family together.' Sarah adds: 'I've been waiting a long time, I just didn't think it would be possible. He was as I imagined and more, beyond what I expected. I can't wait to get to know him more. The past is in the past and the adventure is only beginning.' *Long Lost Family: Born Without Trace continues on ITV on Wednesdays at 9pm.

Inside Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet's lavish wedding in Majorca as couple say 'I do' with their 'dream' ceremony
Georgia Kousoulou and Tommy Mallet spared no expense for their 'dream' second wedding in sun-drenched Majorca, Spain, on Friday. The couple and their friends shared a first look at their picture-perfect day on Instagram, with Georgia dazzling in a breathtaking white gown and Tommy cutting a stylish figure in a tailored beige suit. They wrote: '20.06.2025. Our Dream wedding finally happened... 'Best day of our lives. Surrounded by so much love. Can not wait to get all of our pictures & videos back to show you how incredible it was.' With sun-soaked backdrops, designer touches and a guest list full of familiar faces, the celebration oozed glamour – and fans won't have to miss out, as the couple teased: '& you'll be able to watch it all.' To top it all off, the big day fell on Georgia's birthday, making the luxurious celebration all the more unforgettable. The couple were joined by their adorable children, Brody, four, and Gigi, just seven months, as they celebrated their big day surrounded by loved ones. TOWIE stars Chloe Ross, Sam Mucklow, and Danielle Armstrong were also among those on the star-studded guest list. Wedding guests including Shelby Tribble took to Instagram to share photographs from the special day as they gave an insight into the party. She shared photos of the extravagant outdoor dinner setup, revealing a sprawling U-shaped table draped in crisp white linens and adorned with an array of pink-hued flowers in varying shades. Adding to the luxury, several chandeliers hung overhead the table, creating a breathtaking canopy of glamour. She also posted a snap of their wedding 'newspaper', which featured a glamorous photo of the couple on the front page. Adding a playful touch, each guest received a 'But Did You Die?' recovery kit - the perfect remedy for any sore heads the morning after the lavish celebrations. The newlyweds certainly pulled out all the stops for the special day and also provided guests with small bottles reading: 'We've tied the knot so take a shot!' Shelby also shared a gorgeous snap of her posing alongside bride Georgia as well as photographs of her posing with her partner Sam Mucklow. She looked as glamorous as ever in a frilled blue dress while Sam looked suave in a sand suit as they soaked up the sun on the big day. Cara De La Hoyde also posted a sweet video of herself and her husband Nathan Massey cuddling up to one another as they celebrated their friends' union. For the day, Cara cut a glamorous figure in a show-stopping yellow sequin gown with a plunging back design, while Nathan looked suave in a grey suit. Taking to Instagram, she penned in a caption: 'The most beautiful day to celebrate the most beautiful couple. ThankYou & for letting us be part of it.' Georgia stressed that the wedding was very much the product of her own imagination and her husband had minimal involvement. She told OK!: 'I ask him for his opinions, but honestly, I don't want him to get involved. It's my thing. I want him to be shocked, like, 'Wow, this is amazing!''. The couple's first official wedding in December 2023 was a much more low-key affair and ended with a humble Chinese takeaway. Georgia told The Sun about the nuptials at the time: 'We came back to mine and had a Chinese. It was unreal. It is so me and Tommy. 'I literally got back, got my PJs on straight away and we had a Chinese. 'The best bit about it was that we hired tables. So we had a top table…And we all just stuffed our faces with Chinese … it was actually brilliant. So good.' Ahead of her second wedding, Georgia enjoyed a wild, fun-filled hen party in Ibiza at Wayne Lineker's O Club. The star poked fun at the end of her single days by having her and her girlfriends dress in black. The star was joined by longtime pals including Amber Dowding and Lydia Bright as they got into the partying spirit at the celebrity hotspot. The happy couple's romance first blossomed in 2014 when Tommy became a TOWIE cast member. Georgia and Tommy met a few months before filming TOWIE at the gym, with Tommy experiencing an instant attraction to his now wife. After going from strength to strength over the next six years, they revealed they were expecting their first child in December 2020. Tommy wrote at the time that his life felt 'complete' and they went on to welcome a son, Brody Fordham, in May 2021. Then, in 2022, Tommy finally popped the question in Mexico, preparing a lavish beach surprise with rose petals and candles. The couple, who famously enjoyed an early date at a pie and mash shop, announced that they were engaged in February of that year before making it official the following December. Their family then grew to four when they welcomed their second child, a baby girl, Gigi Fordham, in November 2024. Gigi's birth came after they bravely opened up about experiencing a miscarriage and undergoing IVF as they attempted to grow their family.

The pictures of Billi at Georgia and Tommy's second wedding, which was held in Mallorca, come after her ex Andy Carroll was quizzed by police. The Sun on Sunday has exclusively revealed how the ex-Premier League footballer was questioned over bust-ups with his girlfriend Lou Teasdale on the Greek party island Mykonos. Carroll and make-up artist to the stars Lou are said to have rowed at a packed beachside restaurant and then at their hotel. One worker at the Nikolus Tavern said of the first argument: 'We recognised him as the footballer Andy Carroll immediately. 'He seemed very drunk and furious with his partner. 'He was using very bad words. It was improper behaviour. The woman looked very upset.' Police arrived after the first incident and took the former Newcastle, Liverpool and West Ham ace to one side for a chat. He was later allowed to return to Lou. But just hours later, police were called again by alarmed staff after reports of damage to the couple's room at a £500-a-night boutique hotel. Andy Carroll quizzed by cops twice after bust-ups with girlfriend at packed restaurant and hotel during Greek holiday Officers are said to have escorted Carroll to a local station for questioning. He was not arrested and it is understood no further action was taken. A joint statement from Carroll and Lou said: 'Whilst having a private dinner in a restaurant on a quiet holiday in Mykonos, we had a heated discussion of the sort that most couples have had on occasion. It quickly became apparent to the police that there was no reason for them to be there. 'We went outside the restaurant with them together as they insisted they wanted to 'look after' us. 'As far as we are concerned, the situation has been blown out of all proportion by an interested member of the public. No one was arrested and no one was charged with anything. We are very happy, in love and looking forward to our future together and we are disappointed that a private disagreement has become a public matter.' The Mykonos hotel and police on the island declined to comment when contacted. Meanwhile, Billi touched down in Mallorca last week ahead of Georgia and Tommy's wedding. The mum-of-three, who also looks after Carroll's two eldest children from a previous relationship, looked incredible as she showed her ex what he is missing in a bikini. She has since shared a selection of photos from Georgia and Tommy's big day. They previously said 'I do' in 2023. Billi gushed: "Congratulations @georgiakousoulou & @iamtommyfordham. "The best day & night celebrating you both ❤️." Billi announced her split with Carroll in October last year.
