Michigan State football releases ticket information for Ford Field showdown with Maryland
Michigan State football will be returning to Ford Field for the 2025 season finale against Maryland. This will be the Spartans third time playing inside of Ford Field, and will be a similar setup to the Spartans season finale in 2023 against Penn State.
A game on Thanksgiving weekend at Ford Field is a unique opportunity for the fanbase, allowing the metro Detroit portion of the fan base to have a local opportunity to catch a game, all while avoiding the potential for a poorly attended game at Spartan Stadium in gross weather.
While the Nov. 29 game is a long ways away, fans are learning what the ticket information for the game is going to be, and how they can obtain tickets for the Spartans and Terrapins showdown.
Per the Michigan State athletics press release: "From June 2-23, a presale to buy up to eight tickets will be available to Spartan Fund members and football season ticket holders in Spartan Fund donor priority order. Tickets will begin at $49. Presale purchases will require a one-time use promo code provided by the Spartan Ticket Office via email that will be sent on the donor level on-sale date."
General admission tickets will begin being sold on June 24.

The Hawkeyes finished with 16 signees and the country's 42nd-ranked class according to the averaging ranking from those three sites. Iowa's eight commits are tied for the fourth-fewest in the Big Ten. Only Michigan, Oregon, Maryland and Nebraska have fewer commits at this time. As the Hawks add more commits, their national and conference rankings will continue to rise. Iowa is hosting a number of key visitors this weekend, including uncommitted targets CJ Hester, Julian Manson, Kasen Thomas, Darion Jones and Mason Lewis. There's also the transfer portal, which Iowa will be able to hit after the 2025 season. The Hawkeyes are bringing in nine transfers this season and will continue to look to the portal going forward. With upcoming visit days, the 2025 season and the transfer portal to follow, Iowa's 2026 recruiting class should start to climb the rankings soon. Advertisement Now, a 43-year-old man has entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to one year of probation, 100 hours of community service and a $500 fine. Per the Baltimore Banner, Alexis Perez Suarez is from Baltimore and was responsible for the drone and the delay of the playoff game. 'Public safety is a top priority, so we're committed to protecting our airways above mass gatherings. Suarez knew that M&T Bank Stadium was under a temporary flight restriction, yet he flew his drone into the airspace anyway, which is unacceptable,' Kelly O. Hayes, U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland, said. 'There is a zero-tolerance policy for operating Unmanned Aircraft Systems in No Drone Zones. The U.S. Attorney's Office, along with our partners, will hold those accountable who ignore the rules and regulations surrounding restricted airspace." The local FBI office was also involved in the investigation.
