Footage captures terrifying football thugs in bar rampage as fans now banned from games

Shocking video footage showed bottles being launched into the bar where St Johnstone fans had gathered before a Scottish Cup.
Two thugs who helped ambush rival football fans in a pub have been banned from attending games for two years.
A court heard Airdrie supporter Cameron Patey "got a buzz" out of causing trouble. Shocking video footage showed bottles being thrown into a bar in the Lanarkshire town where St Johnstone fans had gathered before a Scottish Cup.
Airdrie Sheriff Court heard a group of home fans confronted the Perth side's supporters and a fight spilled on to the street. Patey, 22, Ryan Lawrence, 29, and Nathan Dunsmore, 26, admitted causing a breach of the peace by fighting, shouting and swearing on January 20 last year.
Annette Ward, prosecuting, said Airdrie fans were seen on CCTV leaving another pub and heading for the West End Bar before the match.
She told the court: "They had their hoods up and their faces partially covered with scarves. The three accused were part of the group. A large group of St Johnstone fans were already inside the West End Bar.
"As soon as the Airdrie supporters arrived there was an altercation that turned into a scuffle between the two groups. This quickly spilled on to the street and in the course of that an individual was assaulted by two unidentified males."
The court heard that a fourth Airdrie fan was seen on CCTV picking up two bottles and throwing them into the pub. He was also charged but has since died.
Patey has a previous conviction which resulted in him being given a football banning order. Lawrence also has football-related previous convictions. After the brawl, bar manager Scott Rae, 47, told the Record he was lucky to escape injury after being hit by a bottle as he tried to eject troublemakers.
Scott said: "Most of the people in the pub at the time were Tartan Army fans who are friends of mine. I had invited them to come to watch the match."
The trouble was linked to a tongue in cheek message posted by a St Johnstone fan who tweeted: "Any Airdrie supporters wanting a square go should come to the West End Bar. Bring your mates - you'll need them."
The court heard that, when asked about his role in the violence, Patey told a social worker: "It's an escape. It gives me a buzz."
But defence lawyer Tony Linden said: "He now describes his conduct as pathetic. His days of attending football matches and seeking out trouble are gone. He plans to leave the Airdrie area and has an offer of employment with a starting salary of £40,000."
Fraser McKinnon, defending Lawrence, said he accepted responsibility for his behaviour, but the lawyer added: "From the CCTV, it appears his involvement was at the lower end of the scale."
Nicky Matteo, for Dunsmore, told the court: "This happened at a time when he was drinking and taking drugs to excess."
Sheriff Joseph Hughes imposed two-year football banning orders on Patey and Lawrence, both of Airdrie. These will cover all regulated games in the UK and the pair are also banned from watching televised football in licensed premises.
The sheriff said: "I'm satisfied this offence was related to the football match that day. It matters not if it happened before the game started. It is appropriate to impose these banning orders to prevent violence or disorder at, or in connection with, football matches."
Patey was also warned that he must behave himself over the next nine months while Lawrence will be under supervision for two years and electronically tagged for nine months, meaning he's confined to his home between 7pm and 7am each day.
Sentence on Dunsmore, who is in custody on other matters, was deferred until December.

Chloe said: "I trusted the justice system. It failed me. "All it takes is an implication of doubt to devalue the overall felt like I was on trial. "This is happening far too often — not just to me, but to survivors everywhere. The courts are being used to retraumatise victims, not protect them. "I spoke my truth. I fought for justice. "I was looking over and I was seeing him kind of flop like he was trying to wrestle the referee and he was in a daze. But when I spoke to him, he seemed pretty compos mentis and he was like, 'I don't know what happened'. ‌ "You know what, it's my fault as much as it is his fault. We shouldn't be looking to persecute him if he's taken the knee - it was an illegal move. "But I've got to take positives from it. I felt good in there and I was moving well. He has jetted out from the US and is heading straight to Buckingham Palace to take part in the Help for Heroes Battlefield Bike Ride. The route, from the palace in London to Rheine in Germany from June 16 to 21 is the path that World War II Allies took over five days, and marks the 80th anniversary of VE Day. ‌ Craig told Lanarkshirer Live Sport last week: 'We're straight into a charity bike ride. I was meant to have that on May 17, so that would give me enough time. 'Because the fight was moved, I have to do the fight and then the five-day bike ride. 'It's from Buckingham Palace to Germany, and it's the route that the soldiers from World War II would have taken. 'It was a great idea when I signed up for it and there was a month's buffer between the fight and this, but the last thing I want to do is pull out from this. 'I think it's a great opportunity, not only for me but to help a charity.'

It's almost a way of life.' 3 3 3 Her depraved hobby emerged after she was j ailed for helping to lead a worldwide monkey abuse ring, which paid thugs to rip tiny macaques from their mothers in Indonesia then butcher them on camera. The terrified animals were killed in agonising ways dreamt up by the group, including by crucifixtion, with the videos shared for kicks. Herron, of Airdrie, opened up to lowlife pals on encrypted messaging apps where she traded her stash of over 1,000 vile images and videos. She told other fiends: 'It's been a pleasure getting to know you all. 'I've built up a few amazing online relationships. 'Our private mails would have the normies turning in their graves. 'Before I got into monkey hate I always had a fascination for gore. Used to watch beheadings. 'Makes life much brighter knowing I'm not the only one who has monkey serial killer thoughts. 'Watching monkey torture always lulls me to sleep in the best way.' It is feared Herron has amassed an army of twisted followers, with thousands of others thought to be hooked on animal kill films. Her harrowing videos also saw young primates being hacked with machetes, dipped in boiling oil and having their skulls drilled. Katie Price slammed for 'putting puppy in danger' as fans warn 'you need to keep your pets safe!' Mother-of-two Herron hid her evil obsession by pretending to be an animal lover. She swapped pictures of pets, describing another brute's Staffie as 'a looker'. Herron wrote: 'I had a Staffy bef- ore I got my little furrball I have now. Rayne. 'She was the most tender, loving and loyal dog ever. They don't call them 'nanny dogs' for nothing. They're amazing with kids.' But she was finally snared when US cops took down group ringleader Michael Macartney, 51, whose alias was 'The Torture King'. Scots cops found 1,084 images and videos of monkey torture on her iPhone. She admitted possessing and distributing obscene material between October 2021 and September 2022. But last night campaigners warned her ties to the torture network could have been over a longer period. Sarah Kite, of advocacy group Action for Primates, said: 'Natalie Herron has been involved in depraved and vile activity.' 'There are thousands of people involved in looking at this type of content, whether it be in any of the private Telegram groups or on Facebook. 'I would be concerned about them having contact with animals or children, seeing what they're capable of and what the sort of things that they enjoy. 'I think it's highly disturbing. I hope more people will be caught. 'I'm sure there'll be more both in the US and hopefully in the UK as well.' Nina Jackel, of Lady Freethinker, said: 'The torture and killing of helpless, infant macaques is among the most disturbing abuse cases I have seen in more than a decade.' Detective Inspector Mark Harrison, of the National Wildlife Crime Unit, warned: 'There are proven links between those involved in animal cruelty and violence towards people.' And the Scottish SPCA said: 'These videos are part of a broader culture of cruelty that must be tackled."
