THE boffins at Timeform reckon punters should side with Karl Burke in the opening race on Day Two, the 25-runner Group 2 Queen Mary over five furlongs.
The bookies do too as they have North Yorkshire trainer Burke's ZELAINA (2.30) as the 9-4 favourite after her visually impressive debut win at Nottingham.

Los Angeles is well-fancied in today's Prince Of Wales's Stakes
Credit: PA
Timeform have her on a rating of 90P, the large 'P' denoting a horse expected to show significant improvement.
If she does, it could take her past the current top-rated filly in the race True Love who is also expected to improve from her rating of 93p.
Punters should also note canny Burke has won two of the last three editions of this race.
LOS ANGELES (4.20) is not just the top-rated runner in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes, Timeform make him the second-best horse currently in training in Britain and Ireland.
The form gurus were particularly taken by his win in last month's Tattersalls Gold Cup which earned him a rating of 126, 2lb less than stablemate Jan Brueghel.
What Los Angeles may lack for in true superstar quality he makes up for with his never-say-die attitude which was too much for Anmaat at The Curragh who looked as if he was going to win but waved the white flag when gritty Los Angeles eyeballed him and battled back.
However Timeform have Anmaat just 1lb behind on 125. See The Fire has a rating of 120 but her 3lb fillies' allowance edges her closer on 123.
ROGUE LEGEND (6.10) is worth the wait. Timeform reckon he has the best form in the race and they believe a repeat of his win in a conditions race at Tipperary would be good enough today.
He is on a rating of 105p - a whopping 15lb clear of his rivals in this.

Royal Ascot trainer blasts 'worst ride' from jockey making debut at meeting
Jerome Raynier was not happy with Flavien Prat's effort on Facteur Cheval after the globetrotter weakened out of the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot won by John and Thady Gosden runner Ombudsman A trainer has complained about the 'worst ride' from a top jockey who was making his debut at Royal Ascot. Flavien Prat flew over from America to team up with Facteur Cheval in the £1million Prince of Wales's Stakes on Wednesday. The 25-1 shot finished sixth of eight behind impressive winner Ombudsman, a horse continuing an excellent week for father and son team John and Thady Gosden. While there were celebrations for the Newmarket stable, French handler Jerome Reynier was dissatisfied with Prat's effort on Facteur Cheval after the earner of almost £4million of prize money ran out of puff in the straight. From a midfield position the six-year-old gelding made good headway three furlongs from the finish and held a slight lead before he weakened right out of contention to be beaten eight-and-a-quarter lengths. The 1m 2f was the furthest distance Facteur Cheval had tried and Reynier claimed Prat, who has ridden 1,995 winners in his home country, gave him little chance. READ MORE: Mirror watches as Royal Ascot punters stopped by drug sniffer dogs The trainer fumed: "He (the horse) has come out of the race well, despite his jockey doing absolutely nothing to help him. I think it was perhaps the worst ride given to one of my horses since I became a trainer. "In a race with loads of pace, he elected to lead the chase (behind pacemaker Continuous). He was the first to commit on the turn for home and launched his attack three wide with no cover and too far out." Before the race Prat was described "as brilliant a turf rider as any of us have ever seen over here" by Team Valor International chief Barry Irwin, who own the 2024 Meydan Dubai Turf hero with Gary Barber. Facteur Cheval picked up just over £14,000 for connections in a race which had top three prizes of £599,708, £227,362.50 and £113,787. Via the Racing Post, Reynier added: "Flavien thought he was at Santa Anita or Del Mar where they have short straights and the tracks are flat. "And I don't think it was a judicious move to use a jockey who rides in that style. It was just a terrible ride." Born in France, Prat has lived in America since 2015, where he has ridden top horses like Breeders Cup Classic hero Flightline and Hot Rod Charlie, the winner of the Pennsylvania Derby. He took another ride for George Weaver's US stable after partnering Facteur Cheval, when Tough Critic finished 11th of the 23 that set out in the Windsor Castle Stakes won by Eve Johnson Houghton-saddled Havana Hurricane.

‘Extraordinary' Royal Ascot row breaks out as livid trainer blasts his own jockey over ‘terrible' ride
FACT OR FICTION 'Extraordinary' Royal Ascot row breaks out as livid trainer blasts his own jockey over 'terrible' ride Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AN 'extraordinary' Royal Ascot row has broken out - after a jockey slated his own jockey over a 'terrible' ride. French handler Jerome Reynier was absolutely furious with US-based jockey Flavien Prat's effort on Facteur Cheval in Wednesday's Group 1 Prince of Wales's Stakes. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 Flavien Prat has won over £100million in his career but was slated for a 'terrible' ride by a furious trainer at Royal Ascot Credit: AP 2 Facteur Cheval was up with the red-hot pace early on - a move that proved costly as he ran out of gas and finished only sixth The six-year-old gelding, who has won almost £4million in his brilliant career, was sent off 25-1 for the 1m2f contest. But his trainer believed those odds were nowhere near a true reflection of his ability. And he clearly thought that the horse had a chance if Prat followed his instructions. However, that all appeared to go out the window early when Facteur Cheval chased breakneck 100-1 pace-setter Continuous. Facteur Cheval was later dropped back but unsurprisingly ran out of gas and finished a limp sixth of eight behind superstar winner Ombudsman. Reynier, still seething when speaking to the media days later, hit out at Prat's tactics - which, despite the disastrous effort, still netted the horse's owners £14,000. He said: "He (the horse) has come out of the race well, despite his jockey doing absolutely nothing to help him. "I think it was perhaps the worst ride given to one of my horses since I became a trainer. "In a race with loads of pace, he elected to lead the chase [of the pacemaker]. "He was the first to commit on the turn for home and launched his attack three wide with no cover and too far out. "He thought he was at Santa Anita or Del Mar where they have short straights and the tracks are flat. "And I don't think it was a judicious move to use a jockey who rides in that style. "It was just a terrible ride." French-bron Prat is one of America's top jockeys and had amassed prize money earnings there of more than £11m this calendar year alone. Over the course of his career in the States, Prat has recorded 1,995 wins and earned more than £150m in winnings. Headline buy Ghostwriter gets mile-and-a-half chance in Hardwicke
Cox and previous owner Jeff Smith had been itching to step the four-year-old up in trip to a mile and a half following a succession of good runs over 10 furlongs last season against the likes of City Of Troy and Look De Vega. Bought by Kia Joorabchian's Amo Racing at Monday's Goffs London Sale, he will be ridden by David Egan for the first time. 'He obviously went through the ring on Monday but we've been wanting to step him up in trip for a little while now and this looks a good time to do it,' said Cox. 'He ran well in the Tattersalls Gold Cup and prior to that in Dubai so I'm hopeful that he'll relish the chance to step up in trip and I hope he does well for his new connections. 'The race has changed in complexion with Kalpana not running. I'm hugely respectful to Rebel's Romance as he's such a consistent performer and he's a credit to everyone involved with him, but I'm hopeful we can get involved at the finish. 'He's run well on the straight track at Ascot before, he's never been on the round course there but I'm happy that he's in excellent form and I hope he can put his best foot forward.' The aforementioned Rebel's Romance has been an absolute star for Charlie Appleby and Godolphin. Now seven, he has won Group One races in America, Germany, Hong Kong and Dubai over a mile and a half and last time out won the Yorkshire Cup over an extra two furlongs. 'I keep telling people, if I need to explain what Rebel's Romance is all about, they are probably not racing fans,' said Appleby on his globetrotting stable stalwart. 'He comes here in great order and he's well renowned for what he can do. I think the trump card could be the drop back to a mile and a half and that is going to be more comfortable for him. It was his guts that got him over the line at York, he's an absolute star.' William Haggas, who got off the mark for the week on Thursday with Merchant, runs three, the shortest priced of them being the Wathnan Racing-owned Space Legend, who finished second in the King Edward VII last season to Calandagan 'We used the Huxley as a prep for this which was an inadequate trip and I'm not sure Chester's tight nature would have been ideal for him,' said Wathnan's Richard Brown. 'Ascot back up in distance will hopefully be more suitable, but he will have to perform to his very best as it's an incredible Hardwicke and he'll need to be on top form to make the top three – if he was to finish in the first three we would be delighted.' Godolphin and Wathnan are to the fore in the Chesham Stakes, too, with Appleby's Treanmor living up to his €2million price tag on debut. Appleby said: 'We were confident going into Newmarket over the six furlongs and he qualifies for the Chesham on the back of his sire Frankel. 'Frankel has phenomenal stats here at Ascot and I think he's second only to Dubawi, so we come here confident the step up in trip will suit and I think both physically and mentally he has come forward from that first run at Newmarket.' Humidity was bought by Wathnan following a winning Newbury debut in the Cheveley Park Stud colours. 'He was bred for this and both physically and on pedigree you would think he would want further than six furlongs,' said Brown. 'His full-brother Holloway Boy won this on debut in 2022 and hopefully it is the right spot for him. 'I was really impressed with him at Newbury but this is going to be a tough race. Aidan (O'Brien) is bringing a smart horse over (Moments Of Joy) and Charlie Appleby's Treanmor looked special when winning at Newmarket. 'However, our lad is one from one and did it well and we're now going to find out how good he is.'
