The 25-year-old Muay Thai phenom has already amassed more than 90 professional fights, including winning the Rajadamnern Stadium Welterweight Muay Thai World title in 2022. Now ranked No 3 in ONE's featherweight Muay Thai division, he stands on the cusp of a world title shot.
However, ahead of his career-defining bout at Bangkok's Lumpinee Stadium, Shadow said he is just focusing on the present.
'I just really want to get a win for each fight,' he told the Post. 'The future is up to the future.
'If I still keep going, not giving up, I believe one day I will be able to get a title shot against Tawanchai [PK Saenchaimuaythaigym].'
Pressed on whether he had what it took to beat the 26-year-old, Shadow remained coy.

Women's Nations League volleyball: Japan recover from 2 sets down to beat Thailand 3-2

Japan continued their dominance of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League on Wednesday, coming back from two sets down to beat Thailand 3-2 at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Arena and move to the top of the tournament rankings. Before their Hong Kong campaign got under way, world No 5 Japan had a flawless week in Ottawa, Canada, at the beginning of June, winning all four of their games without dropping a set. But they were made to work for their victory this time around, as world No 14 Thailand came close to pulling off an upset against Asia's highest-ranked side. 'Congratulations to the Japanese team, they showed high spirit and high performance at a world-class level,' said Thailand head coach Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai. 'We learned a lot from them, especially in defence and attack.' World No 14 team Thailand won the first two sets 25-18, 25-23. Photo: Panda/Takumi Images. Thailand capitalised on a series of errors by their Asian counterparts to win the first two sets 25-18, 25-23. In the past four meetings between the two countries, Thailand had failed to win a single set.

Thai cabinet approves US$1.2 billion bid to host Formula 1 street race in Bangkok

Thailand's cabinet has approved a US$1.2 billion bid to host a Formula One street race in the country's capital, Bangkok, in 2028, government officials said on Tuesday. If successful, the Thai capital would win a contract to host a race each year from 2028 to 2032, government spokesperson Jirayu Houngsub told a news conference. 'In the next two to three years, Thailand will have a world-class competition, which we never thought would actually happen in Thailand,' Jirayu said. Tourism Minister Sorawong Thienthong told reporters the bid is worth about 40 billion baht (US$1.23 billion). In March, Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra met Formula One chief Stefano Domenicali and said Thailand would commission a feasibility study into hosting a Grand Prix on a Bangkok street circuit from 2028. Formula One has one race in Southeast Asia, at the Singapore Grand Prix. Photo: AFP Hosting the race would help promote tourism, a key driver of Thailand's economy, the government has said.
