Beyoncé's tour lands in New York for second show: A night of high fashion, high energy

Yahoo25-05-2025

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter launched night two of of her "CowboyCarter" tour in New York with two key themes defining the show — high energy and high fashion.
The Grammy-winning singer kicked off the show around 8:02 p.m. ET on May 24 at MetLife Stadium. The concert was her second time performing in the New York area — East Rutherford, New Jersey — on her Cowboy Carter and Rodeo Chitlin' Circuit Tour. She is set to perform on the same stage for a total of five nights. The remaining shows will take place May 25, 28 and 29.
"Hello, New York! Y'all look absolutely stunning. I am very honored and happy and grateful to be on this stage,' she said as she opened the show.
Saturday's performance proved to be yet another groundbreaking show, where high-energy and high-fashion ruled the night.
Beyoncé's tour has been a huge showcase of fashion and creativity. Each night, Beyoncé continues to blend high fashion and cowboy couture, keeping fans on the edge of their seats as they anticipate a new look. There's been many looks incorporating Western-glam: sparkly chaps, cowboy hats, boots and piles of fringe.

For Saturday night's show Beyoncé's new outfits seem to steal the show. During her "Alliigator Tears" performance, Beyoncé popped out with an all-new outfit. She wore a long fur coat paired with a textured cowboy hat and thigh-high fringe boots. And the look seemed to be a fan favorite online.

Many fans in the stadium and online took note of the electric energy throughout the night. One fans wrote, 'This crowd is insane." Another cosigned saying, "night two is taking it.'

Toward the end of the show, Beyoncé even sang the lyrics of her 2008 song "That's Why You're Beautiful" to the crowd as she thanked them for showing up and showing their support.
Of course, Beyoncé first debuted her "Cowboy Carter" tour at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on April 28 with 39 songs on the set list. Her shows have been filled with family, fashion, different music genres, and most notably country music and cultural commentary.
The nine-city tour will span the U.S. and Europe with the grand finale taking place in Las Vegas on July 26. Beyoncé has already made history with her scheduled tour dates, including by playing the most dates at SoFi Stadium of any artist.

Jay-Z Calls Beyoncé His Favorite Artist In A Sweet Interview at Fanatics Fest NYC

Source: Kevin Mazur / Getty Jay-Z couldn't help but compliment his wife Beyoncé at the inaugural Fanatics Fest in New York City on June 20, and we were here for it. Dressed in his signature New York drip – Timbs, relaxed fit jeans, and a navy tee repping his 'Reja Blue' label, Hov made his rounds through the convention Fanatics space. The 'Hard Knock Life' rapper interacted with fans, signed vinyls, and did interviews in a way we haven't seen him do recently. And that's the moment that had everyone talking. Jay Z stopped to talk with a young boy journalist. Keep scrolling for the details of the adorable interview. The budding media star asked Jay-Z a simple but loaded question: 'Who's your favorite artist you've ever worked with?' No pressure, right ( on Jay Z or the tween reporter )? Jay responded, 'Beyoncé.' The journalist followed up by asking why. Hov added that 'she is the best,' 'she is amazing,' and an 'incredible performer.' Cue the collective swoon. With his answer, Jay-Z not only melted hearts, but reminded us all how proud he continues to be of his wife's legacy. Beyoncé, currently lighting up stages and serving looks on her 'Cowboy Carter' tour, continues dominating music, fashion, and culture. On June 19, during her Paris tour stop, she made headlines by bringing out Miley Cyrus for a surprise duet, sending fans into a frenzy and adding yet another viral moment to her growing list. From the U.S. to London, Paris, and beyond, Beyoncé is raising the bar at every stop. Whether she's bringing her daughters Blue Ivy and Rumi onstage, showing out in custom couture looks, or pulling out surprise guests no one sees coming, the Bey Hive leader creates experiences. Her shows are part concert, part cultural reset. No wonder Jay-Z proudly named her his favorite. No weights, no problem — this is the 15-minute no-equipment workout I'm doing to keep up my strength training on holiday

When I go on holiday, working out isn't a priority for me. However, I do like to give myself the option, so I often pack a pair of my best running shoes into my luggage for either a run or a quick visit to the hotel gym. I'm heading to Portugal next week and staying in a rental apartment, so with no gym available, I've been on the hunt for a no-equipment strength workout I can do from anywhere. One trainer who never lets me down when I need a quick and effective home-friendly workout is Kayla Itsines. With nearly 16 million Instagram followers, I know I'm not the only one who loves her content. That's where I came across her travel-friendly full-body workout, and it went straight into my saved posts. It includes six moves performed across three sets, which might sound like a lot, but the full routine only takes 15 minutes to complete. I gave it a test run before packing and found it quick, effective and surprisingly energizing. As I'm an early riser. Even on holiday, I'll likely be doing this routine out on the balcony before everyone else wakes up. That said, it's the kind of workout you could easily squeeze in during a midday siesta or before heading out for dinner. If you're heading somewhere warm and planning to keep up your running, the Saucony Triumph SG is a great pick. It's lightweight, breathable, and has a quick-pull lacing system that makes it easy to slip on and go. A post shared by KAYLA ITSINES (@kayla_itsines) A photo posted by on There are six exercises involved, all demonstrated by Itsines in the post above. It's worth watching her video so you can note the correct form. Each exercise is listed below. You'll spend 30 seconds on each move, so make sure to do this on each side for the unilateral exercises and don't forget to do all three rounds. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Itsines' routine is proof that you don't need a gym or a lot of time to get a solid full-body workout in. With six simple bodyweight moves repeated across three rounds, it targets your major muscle groups and gets your heart rate up in just 15 minutes. You'll kick things off with double-pulse sumo squats, a lower-body move that works your inner thighs and glutes while building strength and stability in your hips. Then it's into glute kickbacks and fire hydrants, which isolate the glutes and help improve balance, especially since you'll be working one side at a time. The commando and hover-to-plank combo brings in upper-body strength and core control, challenging your shoulders, arms and abs. Finally, ab bikes round things off with a burst of core work that also gives your obliques some attention. While it's quick, this type of session helps you build functional strength — the kind you use in everyday movements like climbing stairs, bending, or carrying things. As it's bodyweight-based, you're not just building muscle, but also working on your balance, mobility and endurance. The combination of core activation, unilateral work (where you focus on one side at a time) and full-body engagement means you're training in a balanced way that can help reduce injury risk and support long-term strength goals, too.
