Court order to attach Sivaji's house recalled

On March 3, the court passed the attachment order on a plea moved by
Dhanabakkiam Enterprises
to execute a decree in its favour. According to Dhanabakkiam Enterprises, a loan of 3.75 crore was issued to Eshan Productions, represented by Dusshyant and his wife for producing a film 'Jagajala Killadi'. As Dusshyant failed to repay the loan, arbitration proceedings were initiated . A decree was issued in favour of Dhanabakkiam Enterprises to exploit all rights in connection with the film. Since the film could not be completed, the arbitral decree could not be executed by Dhanabakkiam Enterprises, prompting it to move an execution petition to attach Sivaji's house, in which Dusshyant's father, Ram Kumar, holds a share. It wanted the court to execute the arbitral award dated May 4, 2024. During the course of the hearing, the court was informed that Ram Kumar does not hold any stake in the house, and it wholly belongs to Prabhu.

Ramkumar is now asked to contact other prominent actors for new undertakings, while Silambarasan has moved forward with other collaborations, including directors with films Desingh Periasamy and Ashwath Marimuthu . Vishnu Vishal-Ramkumar's Irandu Vaanam wraps filming
Weeks after revealing the first look poster from actor Vishnu Vishal starrer Irandu Vaanam, the makers announced on Tuesday that the production has wrapped. The actor on his social media appreciated director Ramkumar for making "something unique and interesting again". The film was under production for 150 days. Irandu Vaanam, which has Mamitha Baiju as the female lead, marks the third collaboration between Ramkumar and Vishnu Vishal, following Mundasupatti and Ratsasan. The film's first look was suggestive of a romantic and fantastical themes. Joining Ramkumar in the technical crew are music composer Dhibu Ninan Thomas, cinematographer Dinesh K Babu, editor San Lokesh, art director A Gopi Anand, and stunt choreographer Vicky. Ramkumar is returning to direction almost seven years after Ratsasan (2018). Meanwhile, Vishnu Vishal, last seen in Lal Salaam, has Mohandas and Aaryan in the pipeline. To finance this film, the company reportedly borrowed ₹3.74 crore from Dhanabhakiyam Enterprises, with a high annual interest of 30%. A single judge ruled in their favor, allowing the property to be attached. Actor Prabhu, however, filed a fresh petition asserting that Annai Illam was registered in his name and that his brother Ramkumar had no ownership rights. He urged the court to cancel the order.
