Amid relationship rumours with Yuzvendra Chahal, RJ Mahvash calls him a ‘friend' as she responds to trolls: ‘I'm very proud of him'
For a while now, RJ Mahvash has been at the center of swirling rumours about an alleged romantic relationship with cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. Recently, she took to Instagram Reels to directly address the constant trolling and speculation, and responded to the many trolls directly. In her video, Mahvash began by confronting one of the most common accusations thrown her way: 'Yuzi bhai ne iska career bana diya' (Yuzi bhai made her career). Responding head-on, she says, '2019 se iss industry mein hoon, aao tumko main apna career dikhati hoon' (I've been in this industry since 2019, let me show you my career).
She then presented a montage of her professional milestones, sharing screen space with actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, appearing with Arbaaz Khan, launching her own production house, and even a headline revealing her second feature film with a reported budget of Rs 45 crore. Another point of attack she addressed was the claim that she doesn't understand cricket. To that, she clapped back: 'Jab tu paida bhi nahi hua tha na chhotu, tabse cricket events host kar rahi hoon' (I've been hosting cricket events since before you were even born, kid).
A montage followed, showing her with cricket legends including MS Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh, Brett Lee, Chris Gayle, and many others. She urged people to 'stop relying on WhatsApp forwards and just search for facts.' Mahvash also responded to those who say she only met celebrities like Chahal because of other influential people. To the comment 'Bade bade logon se mil rahi hai Yuzi bhai ki wajah se' (She meets big celebrities because of Yuzi bhai), she countered with clips of herself with Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Kartik Aaryan, Aamir Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ananya Panday, Sidharth Malhotra, and many more.
Addressing accusations about her talent, she said bluntly: 'Abbey talent ki baat kar rahe ho, do kitaab likh chuki hoon, scientist baap ki bachi hoon' (You're talking about talent? I've written two books, I'm the daughter of a scientist). And when critics accused her of doing all this just for views, she fired back: 'Nahi, main ye sab brand views ke liye karti thi, jismein 209 million, 100 million sab cross kar chuki hoon. Tum apna batao?' (No, I used to do all this for branded views—and I've crossed 209 million, 100 million views. What about you?). She added, 'Main most-viewed reels ke top 10 mein reh chuki hoon… tum apna batao?' (I've been in the top 10 most-viewed reels… what about you?).

Defending Chahal, she made her feelings clear: 'As far as Yuzi is concerned, I'm very proud of him. Main poori duniya mein chilla chilla ke keh sakti hoon ki jisko main jaanti hoon woh itna talented hai' (I can shout it to the world, he's so talented). She continued, 'Aur tumhara dost hota toh tum bhi chilla chilla ke kehte. Baaki jo mera circle hai, unhi ke saath dekhungi na main' (If he were your friend, you'd say the same. Obviously, I'll be seen with people in my circle). Taking a jab at online critics, she added, 'Ab 'Chandosi ka Chandu' jo comment kar raha hai, nahi hai mera usse connection. Agar hota toh woh bhi mera dost hota' (Now this 'Chandu from Chandosi' who's commenting, he's not connected to me. If he were, he'd be my friend too).
Shared post on Time
She also pointed out that she's shared humble beginnings with many people: 'Woh wale log bhi hain jinke saath milkar room ka 7 hazaar rent bhara hai. Par problem yeh hai ki jo mere gareeb dost hain, unko tum dhyan nahi de rahe ho' (There are also people with whom I've shared Rs. 7,000 rent rooms. But the problem is, you ignore my less-famous friends). She added, 'Bete itni toh tumhari umar bhi nahi hai jitna lamba career raha hai mera' (Kid, your age doesn't even match the length of my career). She ends her reel with a cheeky remark, saying she hasn't even revealed her bank statements yet, laughing it off.
Just weeks ago, Mahvash had also posted a cryptic note on her Instagram Stories that read: 'What's important is that YOU KNOW you have never done wrong to anyone. You have been pure with your intentions always and that you remember you have to return to God. Live by your ethics. Rest what people say is all noise. Cancel it.' In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, she described Yuzvendra Chahal as 'the most caring person.' She said, 'He is a great and the most caring person you'll ever find. He's always available for his people, so I would steal that quality of his.' During the IPL 2025 season, Mahvash was frequently spotted supporting the Punjab Kings and has been seen with Chahal at several public events, adding more fuel to ongoing dating speculation.

Made for Rs 41 crore, this film was rejected by Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan, became a hit, earned Rs.. won 55 awards, lead actor is..
In 2013, a film hit theatres with the force of a storm — a story that didn't just touch hearts but rewrote box office history and award lists. It went on to win 55 awards, including two National Awards and a Filmfare Best Actor trophy. But what if we told you that this cinematic triumph was rejected by not one but three of Bollywood's top heroes? We're talking about Bhaag Milkha Bhaag , the sports biopic that immortalised India's 'Flying Sikh' — Milkha Singh — on the big screen. Directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, the film eventually starred Farhan Akhtar in the lead, but the road to finding that perfect Milkha was full of U-turns. The rejected bids Rakesh Omprakash Mehra initially approached three leading actors: Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, and Ranveer Singh. Each passed: Hrithik Roshan, praised for intensity, was unavailable—'committed to Krrish,' Mehra recalls in his memoir The Stranger in the Mirror. Aamir Khan, conflicted after Rang De Basanti, bluntly said, 'this is not for me.' Ranveer Singh read the script, impressed with the character, but ultimately declined. Mehra admits, 'I never understood why.' Enter the perfect pick After those three rejections, Farhan Akhtar stepped in. Within just 15 minutes of hearing the concept, he was all in. His portrayal as the legendary runner Milkha Singh, supported by Divya Dutta, Pawan Malhotra, Yograj Singh, Prakash Raj—and a cameo by Sonam Kapoor—transformed the film completely. From Rs 30 cr budget to global hit Despite its modest Rs 30 crore budget, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag surpassed box-office expectations, earning Rs 108 crore net in India and Rs 168 crore globally, quintupling its investment. Awards galore Besides its massive box office success, the film swept awards — 55 in total — and solidified Farhan's place in Bollywood not just as an actor but a performer with serious depth. From rejections to record-breaker, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag wasn't just a movie — it was a race to the finish line that no one saw coming.
