Frigan is back in his home town of Rijeka for the close season and broke his silence there on reported interest from Russell Martin's side.
He said: "Rangers? That style of league would suit me. I think I'm a player for that type of football.
"I know about the interest from clubs, it's good to hear and read such things, but we'll see. Nothing has been decided yet.
"Things are in the hands of my agent and when there is something more concrete, we will know. We will weigh everything up and choose the best option.
"I have a good season behind me, some clubs are contacting me, but we will see what is best.
"I can't say that I am not enjoying it in Belgium, on the contrary, but a change of environment is always good.
"Nothing is ruled out and we will see what happens in this transfer window.
"I'm in no hurry and there's plenty of interest in me. Of course, that makes every player happy.
"I've got a lot more stronger in Belgium. Working on physical preparation is 90 per cent of the training in Belgian football.
"I can say that I'm a lot stronger both mentally and physically."

McCoist names the Celtic transfer that would 'hurt' Rangers
The Irish striker is out of favour at Brighton and Hove Albion after an unsuccessful loan spell at West Ham United last season. Ferguson burst onto the scene on the south coast in the 2022/23 campaign, across which he scored 10 goals in 25 games. Read more: His future is currently up in the air, and several pundits have mentioned Celtic as potential suitors. McCoist thinks Ferguson joining the Parkhead club would 'hurt' Rangers: "I'm a fan," he said [Scottish Sun]. "I want him to get fit. I really like Evan Ferguson, and I really want him to get fit and stay fit. "He can finish. Out of all the younger ones coming through, I thought Evan Ferguson was the one to watch. 'Obviously, he's got one or two injuries going on that have held him back a bit, but if he keeps himself fit, he will score goals anywhere. "The unfortunate thing for my mob [Rangers] is, he could come in and hurt us. Definitely. "It wouldn't surprise me at all. I'm a big fan." Shay Given, who spent time at Celtic as a teenager, thinks the striker would be a 'perfect' fit for the Scottish Premiership champions: "Evan just needs to find a home, if I'm being honest," he said last week. "Be it here [at Celtic] or somewhere else. He needs someone to say, 'You're my player.' "He went to West Ham for Graham Potter and you thought that was the perfect fit because Graham had him at Brighton. But then he didn't play so much at West Ham either. "Michail Antonio and someone else was injured, yet they played Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus - not Ferguson. What happens next for Evan? "I just think he needs to go, be it a loan for a season or some club buys him, and you build the team around him. I think he's a top player, I really do. "I did some Malaysian TV recently with Bobby Zamora and he goes into Brighton once a week and coaches the strikers. Bobby said Evan was the best finisher at the club. "Maybe because he burst onto the scene that everyone's been expecting so much so soon. But again, with young players, you need to have a bit of time. "I just feel he's ready now to burst onto the scene for a full season with somebody. For us, with Ireland, it would be great too. "I don't know if the finances would be to buy him, but if you said for a loan for the season, it would be perfect. But I'm not the financial power at Celtic or Newcastle, so I don't know!"

Celtic misfit bids emotional farewell as reported transfer target Hayato Inamura opens scoring account with a belter
Defender Gustaf Lagerbielke has spent the season in the Eredivisie with FC Twente. Celtic misfit Gustaf Lagerbielke has penned an emotional FC Twente tribute after his loan with the Eredivisie side expired. The Swedish defender headed to the Netherlands on a season-long loan last summer and made 32 appearances in all competitions as Twente narrowly missed out on a place in Europe with a play-off defeat to AZ Alkmaar over two legs. There was some talk in the Netherlands that Twente were keen to sign the centre back on a permanent deal but that appears to have gone cold due to Lagerbielke - who the Hoops signed for around £3million from Swedish outfit Elfsborg back in 2023 - still having three years left on his contract at Celtic. Twente are however hoping to bring back fellow defender Robin Propper from city rivals Rangers after just one season in Glasgow. The Dutchman will however hold talks with new Ibrox boss Russell Martin to discuss his future next week. Ahead of his return to Lennoxtown for pre-season next month, Lagerbielke has officially said his goodbyes at Twente. His post on Instagram read: "From the first day I arrived in Enschede, I felt at home. "Every day I drove to the training field in Hengelo, I felt excitement. Every day I was with the team and the staff, I felt joy. "Every day I put on the Twente shirt, I felt proud. Every day I played for your supporters, I felt honoured. "And today I feel grateful. Grateful for all of you and for letting me be part of your family. Thank you." Elsewhere, reported Celtic target Hayato Inamura opened his account for J-League side Albirex Niigata in emphatic style. The left-sided defender only joined Albi last summer but has made 14 league appearances in Japan's top tier, with his side currently in the midst of a relegation battle. And while Albirex were on the end of another defeat at the hands of Avispa Fukuoka on Saturday, the 23-year-old did register his first goal for the club. Inamura showed his class to lash home an effort from inside the area and give his team a 1-0 lead after hosts Avispa had failed to clear a corner. However, a quickfire double from their opponents minutes later saw the scoreline reserved and while Albirex levelled things up again, Yuji Kitajima's goal on the stroke of the half-time whistle turned out to be the winner. ECB chair Richard Thompson said: "David 'Syd' Lawrence was a true trailblazer of English cricket and a man of immense courage, character, and compassion. "His impact on the game extended far beyond the boundary ropes. As a fast bowler, he thrilled crowds with his pace and passion. As a leader and advocate, he broke barriers and inspired change, becoming a powerful voice for inclusion and representation in our sport. 3 England stars including Ben Stokes paid tribute to Lawrence Credit: Sky Sports "Even in the face of his illness, David showed extraordinary strength and dignity, continuing to uplift others with his resilience and spirit. He leaves behind a legacy that will endure in the hearts of all who love cricket. "Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and the entire cricketing community at this time." Lawrence played five test matches for England, only for his international career to be brutally cut short by a serious knee injury in 1992.
