The Stranger Things actress posted a rare picture with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, from their Croatian honeymoon on her Instagram.
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi got married in an intimate ceremony in May last year. Their beautiful wedding ceremony was the stuff of modern fairytales, from a dreamy setting to not one, not two, but five wedding dresses. And even after their celebrations ended, the Stranger Things actress kept her bridal style going strong, especially during their romantic Croatian holiday. And the proof? It's her post on her husband's birthday.
Taking to her Instagram account on May 7, Millie penned a sweet note, wishing Jake on his 23rd birthday. In the post captioned 'Happy birthday hubby, there's no one like you," the 21-year-old British actress shared a series of never-before-seen pictures of the couple. The post also included a rare peek into the couple's honeymoon in Croatia in October 2024, and as usual, Millie was a fashion inspiration for all the upcoming brides.
The second slide of the carousel featured the couple's picture from their honeymoon, where Millie and Jake were posing cosily. The Enola Holmes actress wore a custom-made white swimsuit featuring a plunging neckline. The piece was entirely embellished with shimmery glass beads and was adorned with a grey bow motif, a black heart and the sweetest of them all, Jake's initials 'JB' embroidered on the chest region.
She paired the stunning swimsuit with a crisp linen white shirt, perfectly twinning with her husband's shirt that had 'Hubby' embroidered in gold thread above the pocket. Millie wore a pair of stylish sunglasses and delicate pieces of jewellery to put her beach look together.
Millie's custom-made swimsuit was from the luxury swimwear brand Oceanus. Designer Hannah Attalah, while speaking to Cosmo UK, revealed that the actress' team reached out to her before the couple's wedding in May 2024 with a request for a unique, personalised piece for their honeymoon. She said, 'It's so wonderful to work closely with a bride and see their vision come to life. We have been working with lots of new brides who want something special for their honeymoons and bridal showers, and we are so happy that we could be part of that journey with Millie, too."

Adding even more meaning to the swimsuit, the designer included subtle embroidery of the couple's zodiac signs. Pisces for Millie and Taurus for Jake. The entire piece took nearly six weeks to complete.
Apart from the bespoke swimsuit, Millie's bridal wardrobe included a custom white lace gown to walk down the aisle from the shelves of Galia Lahav, an archival Valentino dress, an off-the-shoulder ruched satin short wedding dress from Vivienne Westwood and Annie's Ibiza crystal-embellished mini dress.

A bus stop in Wayanad trends among Insta crowd

KALPETTA: A bus stop in a remote village in Wayanad has turned into an 'Insta' spot, thanks to the beautiful purple flowers on its roof. Located on the Sultan Bathery-Pattavayal Road in Nambikolly, the beauty of the stop makes people pause, whip out their phones and click a selfie to post on Instagram and other social media platforms. Behind the place's appeal is over a decade worth of hard work put in by Joy Kottukkara and E S Varghese, both local residents. Joy, a daily wage labourer, and Varghese, a farmer, planted a wild garlic plant at the stop and have been nurturing it for the past 12 years. 'We planted the wild garlic plant a decade ago thinking that it would avoid snakes owing to its scent and that it would provide more shade at the stop. We have been watering it and nurturing it all these years. The purple flowers bloom every monsoon season. Later, everyone, including autorickshaw drivers, traders as well as school and office-goers, started helping us maintain the plant,' Varghese said. He said the bus stop gained more popularity this year, and many youngsters have started clicking pictures in front of the place and posting them on Instagram. The bus stop at Nambikolly is in stark contrast to stops that leak in the monsoon season or cause inconvenience to people due to damaged roofs or broken electrical wires. The place is also a testament to the success of public participation in maintaining bus stops. 'There was a time when miscreants and drunkards would camp at the stop at night. Then Joy and Varghese came forward and transformed the place that was used by hundreds of school students. The bus stop has now become a landmark and none dares to make it dirty,' said Biju S, a resident.
