UPSC ESE 2025 prelims result out, mains exam next
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on June 20 declared the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 preliminary result. Candidates can check the UPSC ESE prelims 2025 result at upsc.gov.in. The UPSC ESE 2025 preliminary examination was held on June 8.
The candidates declared qualified in UPSC ESE prelims for services in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and electronics and telecom engineering will be required to appear for ESE main examination. The ESE Mains will be held on August 10. UPSC will make the UPSC ESE mains 2025 admit cards available for download from the Commission's website around one week before the start of the exam.

The UPSC ESE marks and cut-off marks of the Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination 2025 will be uploaded on the Commission's website – upsc.gov.in after the entire process of the UPSC ESE 2025 is over – after the declaration of final result.
The Commission has also set up a facilitation counter at its campus. Candidates may obtain any information and clarification regarding their examination and result on working days between 10 am and 5 pm in person or over telephone number (011) – 23388088/ 23385271/ 23381125/ 23098543 from this counter.
UPSC ESE is a three-tier test – prelims, mains and a personality test. Commission conducts the UPSC ESE to recruit engineers for various technical positions in central government departments and organisations. The recruitment to the IRMS will also be made through ESE (for Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Signal and Telecommunication and Stores sub-cadres).

He chose Political Science as his optional subject and appeared for the mains and interview in Marathi, his mother tongue. His hard work paid off, and he secured the 361st rank across India. After clearing the tough UPSC Civil Services Exam, he was posted as the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, as of 2022. Ansar's journey has become a source of hope and motivation for students from all corners of India.
