Amazon Tech Week Sale: All details as Apple watches and Dyson fans drop in price
The retail giant is hosting a week-long event of deals starting today (Wednesday, May 7)
Amazon is well-known for its seasonal sale bonanzas, with significant offerings during annual events such as Prime Week and Black Friday. However, the retail giant is kicking off a new Tech Week with reductions on a wide range of laptops, smart watches and gaming devices to name a few.
Amazon Tech Week kicks off today (Wednesday, May 7) and will run until Tuesday, May 13. As far as we know, the event is open to all Amazon users, and shoppers do not need to be signed up for Prime to get the discounts.
However, there may be some deals that are exclusively available to Prime members. Shoppers can also use camelcamelcamel.com - a free Amazon price tracker - to alert them to deals as they drop.
Similarly, Currys has just launched its 'A-May-zing Deals' event, with £80 off Dyson's Tower Fan, now £269.99, was £349.99. It is designed with 'Air Multiplier' technology, which keeps rooms constantly refreshed, with low noise and energy emissions.
The fan is bladeless, making it easier to clean and also ensuring it doesn't clog up with dust particles or release them into the air. Meanwhile, Argos has a Lenovo Tab M9 tablet for £69.99 - it's designed for streaming, gaming and browsing.
Back to Amazon's Tech Week, current deals on the site include this Apple Watch Series 10, down to £329, from £429 (£100 off). The smartwatch promises 30% more screen area, making it easier for viewers to easily view health information such as their heart rate and respiratory rate, as well as track sleep.
The built-in Activity Rings and Workout app track activity levels, and also the intensity of exercises. Users can also send texts, take calls, and listen to music and podcasts. It is also crack-resistant and water-resistant to depths of 50m.

He also alluded to the letter referring to 'I' as a personal pronoun and for 'instruction,' referring to the educational aspect of his products. With new Apple AI capabilities rolling out in more recent iterations of the iPhone, 'intelligence' may even be an appropriate meaning for the recognizable 'i'. According to Jobs, there never was one true meaning for the 'i.' Instead, it fully encompassed the innovation, inspiration and iconic nature of his brand.
