I got 6 meals for £3.79 thanks to a Morrisons Café Too Good To Go bag
Have you tried a Too Good To Go bag, or are you still wondering what all the fuss is about?
Too Good To Go is an app that allows members of the public to buy surplus food at a discounted rate, allowing them to bag a bargain while saving food from going in the bin.
From Toby Carvery to Greggs, I've tried a few bags now, but this time, I got my hands on a Morrisons Café mystery bag to see what I got inside and if it was worth it.
The app allows you to search for mystery bags that are available to collect in your local area so that's exactly what I did – here's how it went.

On the app, I was told I'd get a mix of cakes and sandwiches, but my bag was filled with sandwiches that had a variety of fillings.
Although the sweet tooth in me was a little disappointed I didn't get any cake, I was still amazed at how generous the café was.
In the bag, I got an impressive six sandwiches ranging from Ham and Mature Cheddar on Malted Bread to a Meatball Marinara in a White Sub, ideal if you're heading out for a picnic or you're entertaining friends or family at home.
I think six sandwiches for the price of £3.79 is a bargain since each sandwich can be a meal.

In the brown paper bag given to me by a Morrisons staff member were the following items:
Sandwiches:
Cheddar Cheese on White Bread x2
Ham & Mature Cheddar on Malted Bread
Double Egg & Cress on Malted Bread
Panini:
Chargrilled Veg & Basil Pesto in a White Panini
Sub:
Meatball Marinara in a Soft White Sub
With the sandwiches having short dates, picking up one of these bags is ideal if you can dish them out and get them eaten pretty quick, but I think some will last better than others.
The app had crossed £7.50 out above the £3.79 price, but I'm not sure if this is what the bag should've cost or what the items inside would've come to had I bought them individually at the Morrisons Café, but I think it was a good deal anyway.

Overall, I'd recommend trying a Too Good To Go mystery bag to see what you get - it could make for a cheap lunch or dinner option, depending on where you go and what's inside the bag.
I think the surprise element is what makes picking up one of the bags a fun exercise, if you're not a fussy eater, that is.
One downside is that you might have to collect a mystery bag late in the day when a store or restaurant is about to close, but each bag has its collection time stated, so you can choose one that suits you best, for example, on the way home from work.

Wingstop to open new restaurant in Bristol, UK by summer 2025
Chicken wing restaurant chain Wingstop is to open a new restaurant in the city of Bristol, in the west of England, by summer 2025. Insidermedia reports that the new Wingstop location will be situated at 44 Queens Road in Clifton, in a retail property formerly occupied by the stationer Paperchase. DJ Foley Property Consultants, through Savills and twentyretail, previously secured Greggs for 46 Queens Road. Now, Wingstop, trading as Lemon Pepper Holdings, is set to open at number 44. David Foley stated: "There was a lot of competition for these two units, with interest being shown by well-known brands. We are delighted to welcome the two popular brands Greggs and Wingstop to Queens Road and wish them every success." The restaurant will occupy the ground floor and basement of the grade II-listed building, with the ground floor designated for front-of-house operations and the basement for customer toilets and staff areas. This will be the third Wingstop establishment in Bristol, joining Cabot Circus and Eastgate Road. The move is part of the company's UK-wide growth strategy, which includes the opening of more than 20 new sites by the end of 2025. Wingstop's expansion in Bristol is a significant part of its UK growth, which has seen the brand expand to 64 locations since its 2018 launch. It now has 2,700 employees across the UK. Bristol City Council has granted planning permission for the new restaurant, including the installation of a shopfront and heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. In the fiscal first quarter of 2025, Wingstop's total revenues reached $171.1m, up from $145.8m in the same quarter of the previous year. 'I'll remember it forever': Rangers fans get engaged at Ibrox on takeover day
A HAPPY couple got engaged at Ibrox and were 'over the moon' on the 'perfect' day as the club was taken over. The Rangers-daft pair were on a tour of the club's stadium today, Friday, May 30, as the news broke that the San Francisco 49ers Enterprise-led consortium was taking a 51% share in the club. The Glasgow Times was outside the Ibrox today to hear fans' reactions to the news and bumped into the pair who shared the happy news. Emma Nicoll, 28, got down on one knee to propose to her now fiancé, Lynsey Downs, 34, next to the Ibrox pitch. Lynsey, from Renfrew, said: "So, I've now got a fiancé - we got engaged today! "Just at the tunnel and next to the pitch, so I'm pretty over the moon about that. "I think the club's got to move forward, and I think this is a great opportunity for them to move forward, and I think they can build on some of the success they've had in the past and perhaps maybe catch up with other teams." I think that's a good place to start." Young fan from Govan, John Ferguson, 6, just came out of the shop with a new scarf. He said, "I'm excited." When asked what he hopes to see the club do going forward, he said: "Score goals." Alan Kennedy, 63, is originally from Possilpark but now lives in Canada. His four children all have Rangers tattoos and are big supporters of the club. Alan said: "Very excited about it. Hopefully, a lot more investment in the club, get us some better players and start winning some trophies." A statement from the club confirmed that the consortium was seeking a controlling stake, with sources close to the deal suggesting it would be finalised by June. Key figures in the takeover include Paraag Marathe, president of 49ers Enterprises and chairman of Leeds United, and American health tycoon Andrew Cavenagh, who has been a frequent visitor to Ibrox. The completion of the deal, announced today, marks a new era for the club.
