Huda Kattan Finally Dropped A New Hair Extension Collection

Huda Kattan is an unstoppable force in the world of beauty. With the internet's most popular beauty brand now firmly back under her belt – she recently regained full ownership of her namesake line Huda Beauty, making it one of the few beauty brands to be fully self-funded, privately held and family owned – Kattan is getting back to what she does best. Namely, dominating the industry with game-changing, community-driven, quick-to-go-viral products like her new Faux Filler Jelly Oil, £21, and Lip Contour Stain, £22, which ahead of launching later this month, have already spiked Google searches by 5,000%. We're not surprised, The Cosmetify Index Q1 2025 crowned Huda Beauty the top-ranking beauty brand based on social following, engagement, and number of Google searches. And there's more. Kattan has announced a collaboration with premium hair extension brand Beauty Works.
Already a trusted favourite among the likes of Maya Jama and Molly Mae-Hague, who both have existing collections with the brand, the new Beauty Works x Huda Collection is one of Beauty Works' most anticipated partnerships. Focused on fusing high-performance with an ultra-glam finish (both undeniably synonymous with Kattan's own business values) the collaboration offers up salon-professional clip-in extensions in five exclusive multidimensional shades that are inspired by the beauty doyen's own Middle-Eastern heritage.
Taking to TikTok to reveal the collection, Kattan said, 'I wanted to do something to highlight women in the Middle East, so we did colours that we thought were really, really unique to this region.'
Personally curated by Kattan, each shade has been designed to flatter a wide range of hair tones and textures: Midnight Kohl is an intense natural black, Arabia Doll is a deep brown with warm undertones, Huda offers dark brown roots with caramel highlights, Desert Dune is for brunettes with bold lowlights and blonde highlights; and Spiced Oud delivers soft brown roots.
Beauty Works has been delivering salon-grade, luxury hair extensions since 2009 and has gathered a loyal celebrity fanbase along the way, while Huda Kattan's community continues to grow. This launch has been a long-time coming. 'This is also something our community has been asking for for the longest time,' says Kattan, 'we are constantly seeing it in the comments section, like "when are you bringing hair extensions out?", and to be honest Beauty Works owns the market there, they genuinely own the market. I always have to transform my hair, I have to do so many different things, and Beauty Works has always been for me the number one choice without a doubt,' she adds.
The result is a new era of luxury hair enhancements, including the expertly developed Barely There® Clip-In Collection, which can be bought in 15 bestselling Beauty Works shades as well as Kattan's personally developed ones. Available as a seven-piece clip-in set, from £199, in three lengths, 18' (160g), 20' (180g) and 22' (200g); or as part of a Mix & Match range which spans a two-piece, two-clip face framing Mini set, from £24, a three-clip weft Duo, from £60, and a single four-clip weft Volumiser, from £42.
Responding to a specific gap in the haircare market, Kattan notes, 'I had this idea and I just threw it at [Beauty Works] - I love them so much, they are so fun to work with. A lot of women, especially in the Middle East, don't want to colour their hair but they want to be able to experience maybe highlights.' Armed with this knowledge, Kattan developed the Mix & Match range which creates ample opportunity for women to switch up and personalise their look without the damage that comes with bleaching hair regularly.
Sameeha Shaikh, beauty writer, says: 'I have ultra-long hair but it isn't as thick or dense as it once was. While I don't rely on hair extensions day to day, I do reach for them on special occasions when I want my hair to look as thick and luscious as it was a few years ago. After trying out the new Beauty Works x Huda collection, I can safely say I've found my new go-to for weddings, fancy dinners and any other occasion where a full glam moment is the brief. The extensions are high-quality, easy to fix in and totally undetectable once I have brushed them through with my natural hair. I like to wear mine wavy to match my natural texture and these took to my Dyson AirWrap beautifully. I found my perfect shade match in Arabian Doll, a deep brown with warm undertones. It's no wonder Huda Kattan fans have been begging for a hair extension line from the beauty mogul - these are nothing short of brilliant.'

Beauty Works x Huda Collection Barely There® Clip-In Set
What the brand says: 'Perfect for adding volume, experimenting with colour or concealing thinning areas, the Beauty Works x Huda luxury hair enhancements deliver a seamless, natural-looking transformation. This 7-piece clip-in set is available in three lengths: 18' (160g), 20' (180g) and 22' (200g). Made from 100% Remy human hair, it offers maximum coverage and blends effortlessly for a lightweight, flawless finish.'
What we know: Beauty Works has been delivering salon-grade, luxury hair extensions since 2009 and has gathered a loyal celebrity fanbase along the way, in fact Maya Jama and Molly Mae-Hague have both put their names to the brand with separate collections. Bubala restaurant review: ‘The carrots nearly made me take a Covid test'

My wedding reception was held upstairs at the Ivy. Back then, there was only one Ivy: our favourite spot in London, where — in the pre-soft-play days, when our disposable income wasn't funnelled directly into Bluey Inc — we'd had our favourite, joyous, boozy dinners. It was the only possible venue. But now, with an Ivy on every high street, it's like announcing we got married at a Zizzi. And here, with slight regret, I present another cautionary tale of overexpansion. I love Bubala. It opened in Spitalfields in 2019, offering a vibrant take on Middle Eastern food that was delicious, quietly vegetarian and deeply hip — not that I'm in any position to judge hipness, but various beard-oil users have assured me that it was. Its firstborn arrived in Soho a few years later, and this sequel proved even better. It was The Godfather Part II, Thor: Ragnarok, Miley Cyrus. Bubala 3 is a 15-minute trek from King's Cross station, located in the sprawling techtropolis, presumably to vary the lunch options for Google and Facebook employees. The walk gave me plenty of time to hype up the food to my husband, J. By the end of my pitch, he was practically jogging there. We were welcomed in by a brilliant Kiwi manager, but it's not quite the restaurant I know — it's cool and airy rather than cosy, all concrete, exposed plaster and towering arched windows. It would be hard to say the place had much personality, as if it's ready to be turned into a Wagamama or Côte at a moment's notice. Inside Bubala REBECCA HOPE You have the option of a £33 per person mezze sharing menu or choosing, as we did, from the twenty or so à la carte dishes. We picked about half of them. The falafels were 10/10. Just the right amount of give on the outside and fluff on the inside, all served on a tahini so white, smooth and creamy it should have an SPF number. Bread and hummus were also spot-on. The laffa, a scorched flatbread threatening to become a naan, tore with a sublime stretchiness and was the perfect mode of transport to shovel in the glossy hummus, pimped up with nutty burnt butter. 'See?' I said to J. But, alas, man cannot live on chickpeas alone. Charred halloumi was squidgy and succulent, the antithesis of the squeaky vulcanised rubber found at every barbecue. In Soho, it comes topped with a phenomenal chamomile honey. Here it's been punished with half a jar of marmalade. Sickly and dissonant, it tasted as though a label had been misread — even Paddington would have scraped off the stuff. The spanakopita looked fantastic — a chimera of the Greek staple with Turkish borek pastry — but was polystyrene dry; the fist of sesame-miso chutney on the side delicious but ultimately unable to perform CPR on its neighbour. Leeks came doused in a Mexican-themed gratinated béchamel of jalapeños and sheep's cheese, with a tangy amba (mango pickle, to save you a google) reminding us we've got one foot in the Middle East. But the leeks were unforgivably tough. The thoughtfully provided utility knife wasn't up to the job — I think I'd have needed a power tool. I will forgive them for calling hash brown cubes 'latkes', but I can't forgive them for the potato being grey. The carrot main was so underflavoured it could have been a side for a Sunday roast — I almost took a Covid test. The button mushrooms on the pickle plate were overly soft, slightly redolent of a Travelodge breakfast. The basbousa dessert, a warm semolina cake with pineapple and coconut, had intricate flavours but was stone cold in the middle. Unforced error after unforced error that made me keep apologising to J. Carrots, feta and apricot Maybe these were all teething problems — the restaurant has only been open a month. ('Ask your server about our daily wine specials!' screamed a box on the menu. I asked a server, who asked another server, who told us there were no wine specials.) Maybe we caught them on an off day. Or maybe this is a moment for Bubala to take a beat, hopefully before branches start to take hold across the country like knotweed. Or Ivy. ★★★☆☆ 1 Cadence Court, Lewis Cubitt Park, London N1; Charlotte Ivers is away

'Outstanding thriller' with Hollywood legend launches on free UK streamer

Is there anything better than a gripping thriller that takes your breath away at every suspenseful turn? In the world of television, I'm not sure there is. And that's probably what executives at ITV are thinking as well after their decision to add Apple TV Plus series Suspicion to their roster. Starring Pulp Fiction icon Uma Thurman, the eight-part series depicts five ordinary Brits who are accused of kidnapping the son of a prominent US media mogul. As twists and turns are revealed throughout, the five embark on a desperate race against time in order to prove their innocence. First released back in 2022, Suspicion has stayed fairly under the radar. But now, as ITV get set to air the first episode tonight at 10pm, fans can expect to stay guessing right until the very end with this show's dramatic plot twists. Writing on Rotten Tomatoes, Joly Herman from Common Sense Media said the series is: 'Dark, driving, and addictive, this thriller casts a keen eye on modern-day surveillance and social media.' Brad Newsome, from the Sydney Morning Herald, wrote: 'The pace remains quick but the action remains coherent… Quickly engrossing.' In a Google review, viewer David Samuel said: 'Brilliant series. Yes it's complicated at times, but that's the point, it's meant to be. It's a nice change not to be spoon-fed the plot but actually have to use your brain.' Ric Souza, also writing on Google, added: 'This was an outstanding suspense thriller with a superb cast. If you like your stories simple, with a tidy ending, Suspicion may not be for you. 'It is a master mystery thriller that leaves you with several final Suspicions as to who the true mastermind(s) are.' However, it appears not all fans were as pleased with the direction the show took. In fact, many have expressed their disappointment in how it tailed off towards the end of the season. Writing on Google reviews, Gillian Salmon said: 'Pros are this is well paced, suspenseful and initially seemed to build up to a solid thriller. 'The cast play their roles well, even the blissfully naïve and annoying ones. But the moments of promise fail to launch to a believable and satisfying conclusion.' More Trending Seth, also writing on Google, said: 'The setup in the first couple of episodes was intriguing and got me hooked. Unfortunately, it takes a steep decline and by the time we get to the last episode, it's turned into complete garbage.' Meanwhile, another critic on Rotten Tomatoes, Dustin Rowles, said: 'There's not enough substance or character development here to hold our attention beyond the time it takes to click 'NEXT'.' £4m Lotto win puts Harley-Davidson fan on the road to early retirement

Jon Waring, 57, has already handed in his notice at Devon and Cornwall Police where he has worked as a radio operator for 16 years. Meanwhile, his wife Lucy, 48, is working her notice as a nurse at Torbay Hospital. The couple, from Paignton in Devon, who have a 15-year-old daughter, are planning to take life at a more relaxed pace thanks to the Lotto jackpot win. They already have their bucket list planned out with a Harley-Davidson trike bike topping the shopping list for Mr Waring, while a hot tub is the number one priority for his wife. A new family home in the Paignton area is also high on the wish list. Mr Waring said his huge win, which saw him match six numbers in the Lotto draw on May 31 still does not feel real. 'I keep thinking I am going to wake up from a dream,' he said. The family are all keen musicians and plan to create a music room in their new home where they can all play as well as listen to their favourite bands. 'This will be the perfect place to display the family's guitar collection – and potentially add to it too,' Mr Waring said. 'As a family, we love rock music and now the world really is our oyster – we hope to get the chance to attend gigs up and down the country. 'This win will just enable us all to slow down, enjoy life – and of course hit that road on the sunny days ahead on our new trike.' Mr Waring woke at 4am to discover he had won the £3,966,543 jackpot. 'Something just made me go to check my emails and I saw an email saying I had won a prize,' he said. 'I went to Google the winning numbers and noticed there was just one winner – and knew it must have been me. 'I couldn't quite believe it – I knew they were my numbers. I turned my tablet off – left it five minutes – and then turned it back on to double and triple check. 'I woke Lucy, and she said, still half asleep, 'Is it April 1?'. I said no, it is June. 'We just could not believe it – there was no way we were getting back to sleep. We just sat and drank tea – we must have had 10 cups between us.' Mr Waring, who is also a keen rugby fan, said a box at Exeter Chiefs and a trip to see the Lions tour are also on his wish list, together with a new car, an Audi Q7. 'It's a complete change of lifestyle – it won't change us, but it will change what we can do. And the pace at which we do it, too.' He said with the nature of his job, and his wife's, it has been hard to get holidays to match up and the couple do not even have current passports. 'As a result of our shift work, we have not had a proper holiday together for a long, long time,' he said. 'We are now really looking forward to booking something and knowing we can just holiday when we choose. Perhaps a trip to New Orleans for the music. 'It's all the things you dream about trying and seeing but know you never will, until something like this happens.' Mr Waring has always played Lotto each week since the game started and now plays online. His winning numbers were: 8, 11, 12, 16, 20 and 33.
