Best Galaxy Z Flip 7 deals: here's what to expect this July
Motorola might have released its flip phones early this year, but a solid contender is on the horizon. Expected to launch sometime in early July, the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 could offer several notable upgrades, making it a great choice for flip phone enthusiasts.
From what we know so far, the upcoming device might feature a larger cover screen and a potentially better battery thanks to an upgraded battery size. Even better, the Samsung phone might come at the same asking price as last year's model or $1,099.99 for the base model. Although the unchanged asking price (if true) certainly brings good news, launch-day deals will make the Z Flip 7 even more tempting. How so? Well, retailers like the Samsung Store and Amazon, as well as Verizon and other carriers, will compete for your attention with juicy pre-order offers.
Jump to: It's no secret that the official Samsung Store gives the deepest price cuts during flagship phone launches. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be no exception! This year, we expect pre-orders to include a hefty $650 maximum trade-in discount, a free storage upgrade, and a reservation credit. The free storage upgrade alone saves you $120 on the 512GB variant, letting you grab it at the price of the 256GB model. As you might have guessed, the reservation credit is only available to users who reserved a device ahead of launch. We expect it to be worth about $50 and allow you to get an accessory at the time of pre-order. Reservations usually begin two weeks before launch, so stay tuned for updates.
In total, you might be able to save up to $820 on the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 . That's a pretty solid discount no flip phone fan would want to miss.
If history is any indication, Samsung might limit the $650 trade-in discount to select high-end devices. Last year's Z Flip 6 launched with the same discount with Galaxy S24 Ultra, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, and iPhone 15 Pro Max trade-ins Expected pre-order deals at Amazon
Amazon won't leave shoppers behind during the Galaxy Z Flip 7 pre-orders. This year's Samsung flip phone will most likely arrive with a free storage upgrade (which alone saves you $120). Aside from that, the e-commerce giant will most likely offer a $200 Amazon Gift Card. By the way, last year's model debuted with a bundle offer as well, allowing users to buy the Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro at a lower price. We can't be 100% certain, but similar bundle offers might come up this year. Expected pre-order deals at Verizon
Users seeking a carrier deal will definitely want to check out Verizon 's pre-order offer for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 . The handset may arrive for as much as $800 off with trade-ins, plus a free storage upgrade, saving you a total of $920. That said, chances are you'd have to set up a new line on select unlimited plans to grab this bargain. Last year, the Samsung Store allowed users to pre-order the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 with a carrier plan at a pretty tempting price. For instance, users could get a full year of Samsung Care+ with T-Mobile through the Samsung Store. On top of that, last year's flip arrived for up to $1,100 off with eligible trade-ins and a free storage upgrade. Talk about big savings! AT&T offered the Galaxy Z Flip 6 for free during pre-orders. To get this amazing deal, users had to trade in any Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, or Galaxy Z series device in any condition. Of course, the offer only worked with select plans, but at least it was open to new and existing customers alike. Like other carriers (and retailers), AT&T also offered a free storage upgrade during pre-orders.
If the tradition remains unchanged, you might be able to pre-order the new Galaxy Z Flip 7 for $0.00/mo. at AT&T —who would want to miss that?

Apple sued again over broken AI promises, and this time by its own shareholders
Apple is now facing a new legal challenge, this time from its own shareholders. A proposed securities fraud class action was filed in federal court on June 20, accusing the company of misleading investors about the timeline and capabilities of its artificial intelligence features, particularly those tied to Siri and the iPhone 16. The lawsuit, filed in San Francisco's Northern District of California, claims Apple downplayed how long it would take to deliver the AI upgrades it introduced as part of Apple Intelligence. The plaintiffs argue that these delays contributed to a decline in iPhone sales and a significant drop in the company's stock value. The case, Tucker v. Apple Inc, names CEO Tim Cook, CFO Kevan Parekh, and former CFO Luca Maestri as defendants. According to the complaint, investors were led to believe that Apple Intelligence would be a key selling point for the iPhone 16 lineup, offering smarter and more capable Siri experiences. But shareholders claim Apple did not actually have a working version of those features when it made those announcements during the June 2024 Worldwide Developers Conference. The situation became more complicated earlier this year when Apple reportedly postponed some of the new Siri capabilities to 2026. That initial delay came in March, and was followed by a WWDC 2025 presentation that left many analysts underwhelmed with the company's AI progress. In the months since, Apple shares have fallen nearly 25 percent from their all-time high in late December 2024, wiping out about $900 billion in market value. Apple's broken AI promise prompted this new round of litigation. | Image credit — Apple via Wayback Machine From a consumer standpoint, I think it was only a matter of time before legal action followed. Many users were expecting next-gen Siri features out of the box. Now that the lawsuit is official, Apple may need to move quickly to restore trust. Ideally, that means delivering more AI upgrades sooner, though it's likely the company will now be more cautious about overpromising in the future. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! Want free AirPods or an Apple Pencil? Apple's back-to-school deals are changing
In previous years, Apple handed out gift cards with eligible purchases, which students could use toward apps, services, or accessories. But now, those gift cards are being replaced with specific hardware incentives. For example, buying an iPad can get you a free Apple Pencil Pro, while a MacBook includes a free pair of noise-canceling AirPods 4 or a wireless keyboard. iMac buyers also receive AirPods. Other accessories, like the Magic Keyboard for iPad, are being offered at a discount rather than included for free. This approach may seem like a simple change, but it's a calculated move. By bundling popular accessories instead of generic gift cards, Apple is likely trying to draw users further into its product ecosystem. Accessories like the Apple Pencil Pro are only compatible with higher-end models such as the iPad Pro, iPad Air, or iPad mini. That could nudge buyers toward more expensive devices. In the case of the MacBook, the free accessory options are interesting. A laptop usually doesn't require an external keyboard or trackpad, but by providing one, Apple may be encouraging users to expand their setup later with a Mac Studio or iMac. It's a way to create future demand while offering short-term value. AirPods are also a key part of this strategy. Customers who start using AirPods often stick with them, even after losing them or when the battery wears out. Giving them away for free with a Mac could build long-term loyalty and drive repeat purchases down the line. I think this is a smart move that benefits students, especially those who would likely end up buying these accessories anyway. Many users don't buy a Mac or iPad without pairing it with at least one first-party accessory, and Apple's own products tend to work better with its software and ecosystem. So getting some of that hardware for free rather than having to buy it separately might make the deal more attractive. At the same time, it's clear Apple is being strategic. This isn't just about giving things away — it's about investing in future customers. Secure your connection now at a bargain price! We may earn a commission if you make a purchase Check Out The Offer
