Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 fresh leak leaves little to the imagination before rumoured July 9 launch
July is fast approaching, and so is the Galaxy Unpacked event, which is rumoured to take place on July 9. At this event, Samsung is expected to announce a range of foldables and wearables. However, the spotlight of the show — as it always has been with mid-year Unpacked events — will be on the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. That said, we don't need to wait until July to know about the upcoming Samsung foldables, as the duo — Fold and Flip — have leaked in all their glory, leaving little to the imagination. advertisementFolks over at Android Headlines have got their hands on some alleged 'official' renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7. Both phones look amazing, especially in the new blue colour and how sleek they appear. Speaking of which, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is super thin, and you only realise it when you see it next to the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Galaxy Z Fold 7 (left) and Galaxy Z Fold 6 (right) / Credit: Android Headlines Without further ado, let's start with the details on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. This phone is said to come in two colours: Jet Black and Blue Shadow. The latter shade will remind you of the Galaxy S24's blue variant, and it looks absolutely fire. Apart from this, the rumours about its slimness are also turning out to be true — or at least if the leaks are to be believed. The phone looks astonishingly slim against the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and it will reportedly measure between 3.9mm and 4.5mm in thickness when unfolded. For perspective, the OPPO Find N5 is currently the thinnest foldable, with a 4.2mm thickness when unfolded. Will the Fold 7 beat it? We'll find out soon. Galaxy Z Fold 7 / Credit: Android Headlines advertisement In terms of weight, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to weigh 215 grams — making it 24 grams lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 6, and about 14 grams lighter than the OPPO Find N5. To give you a sense, the Galaxy S25 Ultra weighs 218 grams. So, if you've ever held one of those, you may get somewhat of an idea of how the Fold 7 might feel in the from this, other leaks suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will feature a 6.5-inch cover display along with an 8.2-inch inner display. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and is rumoured to come with a triple-rear camera system, led by a 200-megapixel primary to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 — this one is about to get sleeker than ever. Again, not that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 was bulky or anything, but looking at the renders and when you see the Galaxy Z Flip 7 next to the Flip 6, it's hard not to notice how the upcoming model is substantially slimmer. We also expect it to be lighter than the previous model. For context, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 measures 6.9mm when unfolded and weighs 187 grams. This is rumoured to be 4 inches in size, compared to the 3.4-inch cover screen on the Flip 6. Also, similar to the Fold, the renders show the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the Blue Shadow and Jet Black colourways. Galaxy Z Flip 7 / Credit: Android Headlines Other rumours suggest a Snapdragon 8 Elite or the Exynos 2500 chip under the hood, paired with a 4,000mAh battery and at least 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The camera setup is also expected to remain the same as the older Flip 6 — i.e. a 50-megapixel primary sensor paired with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, along with a 10-megapixel front camera for selfies and video said — while the renders and leaks share a lot of information about Samsung's foldables, and as we said, leave very little to the imagination — these are, at the end of the day, just leaks. Until Samsung makes anything official, we'd suggest you take all the information with a huge grain of is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 during the Unpacked event, rumoured to take place on July 9. Other devices expected at the event include the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE — the company's first-ever Fan Edition foldable phone, the Galaxy G Fold — Samsung's heavily rumoured triple-fold phone, along with the Galaxy Watch 8 series, including the Watch 8, Watch 8 Classic and Watch Ultra tuned to India Today Tech for all the latest on Samsung's upcoming foldable smartphones and the Galaxy Unpacked event.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE's design revealed through CAD-based renders
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 next month, and their renders that leaked yesterday showed us the phones in different colors. However, Samsung's next high-end smartphone after these foldables won't come in 2026 but before the end of 2025. We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, which has appeared in CAD-based renders shared by SammyGuru in collaboration with OnLeaks. The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE's design hasn't changed much from its predecessor - the Galaxy S24 FE. The smartphone has a metal build with flat frames, sports a punch-hole display on the front, and features a vertically aligned triple camera setup on the rear. On the right side of the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE are the volume rocker and power button, and at the bottom is the USB-C port, flanked by a SIM card slot and a speaker grille, which could also be housing a microphone. Up top is another mic. While the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE's design language remains identical to that of its predecessor, the dimensions are different. According to the source, the S25 FE measures 161.4 x 76.6 x 7.4 mm, compared to the S24 FE, which measures 162 x 77.3 x 8 mm. This makes the S25 FE slightly shorter than the S24 FE, but despite that, the source says that the S25 FE packs a 6.7" display - the same as the S24 FE. That's courtesy of thinner bezels. The source didn't mention the screen resolution but said it's a Super AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600 nits of peak brightness. The S25 FE is also thinner than the S24 FE, and we hope that the 0.6 mm difference doesn't translate to a reduction in battery capacity, as Samsung has been allergic to using Si/C batteries in its smartphones. There's no word from Samsung about the Galaxy S25 FE. However, rumors claim that the smartphone will be powered by either the Exynos 2400 or Dimensity 9400 SoC and have 12GB of RAM onboard. It will have 256GB and 512GB storage options and could run Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE's front camera will use a 12MP sensor, while the triple camera setup on the rear will comprise 50MP primary (with OIS), 8MP telephoto (3x optical), and 12MP ultrawide units. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 may debut with slimmer and lighter design: Report
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 at its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event, which may take place on July 9. Ahead of the launch, alleged official renders have surfaced online revealing the foldable in Blue Shadow and Jet Black colour options. According to a report by Android Headlines, two more colour variants may also be on the way. Galaxy Z Fold 7: What to expect Going by the renders, it is expected that the next book-style foldable from Samsung would boast a slimmer design than its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Reports suggest the Fold 7 could measure between 3.9mm and 4.5mm when unfolded. According to Android Headlines, a redesigned hinge is a key factor contributing to the device's reduced thickness and lighter build. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to weigh 215 grams, about 24 grams lighter than the Fold 6. The lighter form factor aligns with Samsung's broader effort to make foldables more portable and user-friendly. Bigger cover display, larger main screen Samsung has consistently widened the outer display with each Fold iteration, and this year is expected to be no different. The cover display on the Fold 7 may measure 6.5-inch, up from 6.3-inch on the Fold 6, and could feature a more traditional aspect ratio. This also suggests that the internal screen might expand to 8.2-inch, offering a more immersive experience. The Fold 7 is expected to be Samsung's slimmest and lightest book-style foldable to date. As per 9To5Google, it could measure 9mm folded and 4.54mm unfolded. The phone is also likely to feature deeper Galaxy AI integration, including system-wide enhancements and voice-enabled features. Samsung teasers have further fueled speculation about a possible Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra, a new high-end variant in the Fold series that could introduce performance upgrades and premium materials. Galaxy Z Flip 7 may debut alongside Samsung is also expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 7 at the same event. Reports suggest the clamshell-style foldable could be powered by Samsung's Exynos 2500 chipset, marking a departure from Qualcomm's Snapdragon SoCs in foldables. According to TomsGuide, the Flip 7 may bring a larger 4-inch cover display, software-based camera improvements, and fresh case designs. AI enhancements driven by Gemini AI are expected to feature prominently. Android Central reports that the Flip 7 may benefit from improved power efficiency and a less visible crease due to new blue phosphorescent OLED material. Samsung is also said to be working on a more affordable Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE model, which may feature scaled-down specifications.

Leaked images show off Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 colors, storage info also leaks
Leaked info shows that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 will be widely available in three colors: Jet Black, Blue Shadow and Coral Red. Traditionally, there are a few additional colors that are available exclusively through (those have not leaked yet). The first leaked official images of the phone offer a better look at what a couple of those colors will look like. Here is the Z Flip7 in Jet Black: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 in Jet Black (leaked images) For comparison, here are images of last year's Z Flip6. The widely-available Silver Shadow is a light gray, leaving the exclusive Crafted Black as the only darker option. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 in Silver Shadow and Crafted Black Next up, the Z Flip7 in Blue Shadow: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 in Blue Shadow (leaked images) The Blue color of the Galaxy Z Flip6 is a light pastel, there wasn't anything as deep as Blue Shadow. Unfortunately, the Coral Red color didn't leak. Here is the old Galaxy Z Flip6 in Blue, Peach, Yellow and Mint: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 in Blue, Peach, Yellow and Mint The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 will be available in two memory configurations, 256GB and 512GB, based on leaked model numbers. There is no mention of a 1TB model. Meanwhile, the more affordable Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE will be a step lower starting at 128GB storage and having 256GB as the upgrade. The FE foldable will come with a simple color palette of Black and White, but there are no images to go with this leak. This leak does not cover RAM, though we can turn to Geekbench results for a clue – the Z Flip7 was spotted with 12GB and the Z Flip7 FE with 8GB. Keep in mind that those were just individual units - it's still possible that Samsung will offer higher RAM capacities as an upgrade (but it has been a while since we've seen 16GB from Samsung).
