2025 Kia Tasman drive-away pricing detailed
After detailing recommended retail prices for its first ute in April, Kia has now published a list of drive-away prices for the all-new dual-cab range.
The 2025 Kia Tasman lineup will open at $42,990 before on-road costs or $46,490 drive-away for the entry-level S 4×2 dual-cab pickup.
The range tops out at $77,990 drive-away for the X-Pro 4×4.

Thus far, Kia has only published pricing for the dual-cab pickup, which will be the only body style available when customer deliveries begin in July.
Dual-cab/chassis variants will follow in August, followed by single-cab/chassis versions in late 2025. Pricing, either with or without on-road costs, has yet to be announced for these derivatives.
Compared to the most affordable single-turbo, dual-cab 4×2 pickup version of the top-selling Ford Ranger, the base dual-cab 4×2 Tasman pickup is more affordable.
Based on a New South Wales post code, the Ranger XL Double Cab 4×2 pickup costs $49,734 drive-away.
Likewise, the Toyota HiLux WorkMate 4×2 Hi-Rider dual-cab pickup is more expensive than the base Tasman at $49,988 drive-away in NSW, though you can get the popular ute with petrol power and a lower ride height for less than the base Tasman.
However, a Ranger Wildtrak Double Cab 4×4 pickup with the 2.0-litre bi-turbo diesel four-cylinder engine is priced at $76,883 drive-away, which makes it more affordable than the flagship Tasman X-Pro. A Toyota HiLux Rogue can be had for $77,499 drive-away, also undercutting the top Tasman.
You can also get a Ranger Sport with the optional turbo-diesel V6 for around $600 more in NSW than a four-cylinder Tasman X-Pro.
There's only one other Korean ute available in Australia, the KGM Musso. Available only with four-wheel drive and a dual-cab pickup body style, the Musso is priced from $38,000 to $46,500 drive-away.
All Tasmans are powered by a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine producing 154kW of power and 440Nm of torque, mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

With Jeep's 'trail-rated' credentials crucial to its brand image, the new transmission has been designed to offer smarter gearing choices for EVs while hitting the rough stuff, mimicking the low- and high-range gearing found in conventional combustion-powered four-wheel drive off-roaders. The three different gear-sets each look to expand the capability of EVs, most notably tapping into the instant torque characteristic provided by an electric motor – and minimising energy use at other times. The lowest gearing – created to deploy maximum torque – acts like a traditional '4LO' gear and is designed for trail driving, rock crawling and towing. Jeep hasn't made any announcements on which vehicles will use the new transmission, or when we can expect to see it in a production model. The relatively simple, compact design means it could bring benefits beyond Jeep's off-roaders, extending to other Stellantis brands such as Ram trucks.
