CRIMSON PRIDE: Alabama football seniors reflect on personal legacies in final episode of Fox Nation series
The Alabama Crimson Tide football team is regarded as one of the premiere college programs in the country — and for players who get to help shape the team's legacy, emotions can run as high as the game's score.
For graduating seniors on the team, just before the final game of the season is the perfect time to reflect on personal legacies made throughout their tenure in Tuscaloosa.
In the sixth and final episode of "The Tides That Bind," streaming exclusively on Fox Nation, several Alabama players opened up about their thoughts going into their final regular season game against the Auburn Tigers in the Iron Bowl.
The Alabama-Auburn football rivalry spans over a century, and is considered to be one of the most intense rivalries in sports. The matchup usually marks the final game of the season, giving Crimson Tide seniors extra motivation to end their college careers on a high note against a storied opponent.ALABAMA FOOTBALL STAFF MEMBERS REVEAL THE 'PANIC' THAT SET IN DURING NICK SABAN'S RETIREMENT
"When I leave college, I can't come back," quarterback Jalen Milroe said during the episode, weighing the gravity of playing his final game with the Crimson Tide. "I can never come back and play another snap at Alabama."
The projected NFL draft pick also touched on what he personally hopes to leave behind as he exits the program.
"I just want to touch someone in this world. I don't care who it is," Milroe continued. "I just want to inspire somebody that they can say, 'Man, Jalen went through this — I can do it, too.'"
Former long snapper Kneeland Hibbett admitted the final game would be bittersweet during a team practice prior to the Iron Bowl.
"I'm just preparing like any other week," he said. "But when that 'Dixieland Delight' hits in the fourth quarter, there will be some emotions. It's been a fun journey with a lot of good guys."
The Crimson Tide conquered the Tigers in the 2024 edition of the yearly gridiron battle 28-14, sending Milroe and his fellow graduating seniors off on a high note. To stream all six episodes of Fox Nation's "The Tides that Bind," sign up today.

Alabama 4-Star Commit Shuts Down Recruitment
Alabama 4-Star Commit Shuts Down Recruitment originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Alabama Crimson Tide football program has eight "commits" for the 2026 class. Although verbal commits, also known as hard commits, are nice, players cannot sign a letter of intent until their senior year during one of two signing periods, meaning those pledged to Alabama for the 2026 season are in no way, shape, or form locked into their oath. Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer© Matt Pendleton-Imagn Images Despite the new standard in the NIL era, which is to expect the unexpected with verbal commits, 2026 four-star interior offensive lineman Chris Booker is likely to hold firm with his commitment to head coach Kalen DeBoer and Alabama. Advertisement On Sunday, Booker shut down his recruitment, per On3Sports. A top 20 interior offensive lineman, per 247Sports, Booker verbally committed to Alabama in mid-February. Despite his pledge, he has since taken official visits to the University of Florida Gators and the University of Georgia Bulldogs. It appears the Georgia native was unmoved by the other two programs, effectively shutting down his recruiting. He also has offers from the Ole Miss Rebels, UCF Knights, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Kentucky Wildcats, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Western Michigan Broncos, and Wake Forest Demon Deacons. Alabama has signed at least three five-star recruits, including 2025 blue chip superstar quarterback Keelon Russell, each season since On3 began ranking in 2021. Alabama Lands Commitment From Elite 2026 Prospect
Alabama Lands Commitment From Elite 2026 Prospect originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Alabama Crimson Tide had a healthy amount of recruits visit Tuscaloosa this weekend. Not among them was 2026 three-star defensive lineman JJ Finch. Instead, the six-foot-three, 260-pound first-level defender took his talents to the Miami Hurricanes on an official visit. He also took official visits to the Tennessee Volunteers and Michigan Wolverines during the beginning of June. On Sunday, Finch pledged his allegiance to the Crimson Tide, per 247Sports. Advertisement Alongside Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, and Miami, he also holds offers from the Purdue Boilermakers, Kansas Jayhawks, Kentucky Wildcats, LSU Tigers, Michigan State Spartans, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Ohio State Buckeyes, Penn State Nittany Lions, Cincinnati Bearcats, Florida Gators, and Indiana Hoosiers, among others. Finch becomes the eighth commit for head coach Kalen DeBoer for the 2026 class. He joins four-star offensive lineman Samuelu Utu, and top quarterback recruit Jett Thomalla as Alabama's June commits. Meanwhile, he is now the second interior defensive lineman to verbally commit to Alabama for 2026, joining four-star Kamhariyan Johnson. In ten games last season, Finch collected 41 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and three sacks for Warren Central High School in Indianapolis. He had 12 tackles as a freshman in 2023. They won just five games during his first year and posted a 6-6 record in their last season without Finch wreaking havoc on opposing backfields. Falcons roster tracker: UFL standout replaces former sixth-round pick
The Atlanta Falcons have made a move at running back, signing former UFL standout Jashaun Corbin and releasing Jase McClellan in a corresponding transaction. Corbin, 24, led the UFL with with 514 rushing yards and now joins one of the deepest running back rooms in the NFL. McClellan was selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL draft out of Alabama and led the Falcons in rushing during the preseason.
