Prayagraj: Locals residents and adventure seekers will soon have access to a zipline facility in Sangam city soon. The installation, planned near Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad's statue at Company Garden, will operate at a height of 40 ft.
Visitors will also have access to a climbing facility near the zipline installation.
Under the 'Dekho Prayagraj Trail' initiative, authorities have issued tenders for this tourist attraction. The 100m zipline installation will be complemented by an artificial mountain for trekking enthusiasts. The development aims to enhance the area surrounding Shaheed Azad's statue.
The facility will include an information gallery showcasing Prayagraj's historical heritage, complete with digital presentations.
A small café will also be established within the park premises. Uttar Pradesh Project Corporation Limited (UPPCL), responsible for implementing the Yamuna laser show and bridge façade lighting, will oversee the construction. UPPCL general manager Suresh Yadav confirmed the development of three tourist spots.
Officials have confirmed that the statue surroundings will undergo beautification. The project, funded by the Central Government, has received necessary approvals from the horticulture department and Prayagraj Development Authority.

In a separate development, the Naval Rai pond in Kydganj is set for transformation into a recreational destination. The municipal corporation's Rs 12 crore renovation plan includes boating facilities and a waterfront café.
The pond's redevelopment features gazebos and benches along its banks, alongside parking facilities and decorative lighting. The existing drainage system will be redirected to the Gaughat pumping station. Corporation's acting chief engineer Anil Maurya confirmed plans for a tubewell installation to maintain year-round water levels in the marked-for-renovation Naval Rai pond.

As of October 2023, it's valued at approximately ₹100 crore. Researchers are praising platform for reducing a substantial amount of repetitive R&D work by 75%, drastically saving time and energy in academic or technical efforts. Previously, she worked as Workshop lead at Upsilon Pi Epsilon, research intern at Swartz Center for Computational Neuroscience, Florida International University. She is also the co-founder of Dash. Pranjali is already onto her next big thing — Dash. She calls it, 'ChatGPT with hands.' Dash differs from previous AI chatbots in its ability to not just chat, but to also do things, bringing the element of automation to the conversation. The international expert team from CUDD Pressure Control , USA, who arrived on site on Friday, has conducted a preliminary assessment of the situation and reviewed all actions undertaken by ONGC teams so far.
