Adam Schefter reveals bad news for potential Jalen Ramsey, Steelers trade
The Jalen Ramsey-to-Pittsburgh train may be coming to a halt — as prominent insider Adam Schefter revealed some troubling news for a potential Steelers trade.
On a recent episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Schefter was asked if there were any more rumors he could shed light on — and he chose to address the Ramsey situation:
"The Dolphins continue to have conversations about trading Jalen Ramsey," Schefter said. "And I think that a trade there will get done. The question is, when does it get done? Does it get done next week, the week after, prior to the start of training camp? I don't know exactly when it's gonna be — but Jalen Ramsey will get traded. It'll be, I would expect, before the start of training camp. We'll see how it shakes out — where he goes. I think he would like to go to the West Coast, to Los Angeles — Rams, Chargers, somewhere like that."
The Rams were previously linked as a trade suitor for Ramsey, but the Chargers also seem like a solid fit for the Dolphins cornerback — much to the dismay of Pittsburgh.
All speculation and rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, as it was previously reported that DK Metcalf wanted to stay on the West Coast — right before he was traded to the Steelers.

Ohio State men's hockey releases 2025-2026 nonconference schedule
The Ohio State men's hockey team surprised a lot of people with their unexpectedly high level of play this past season. Texas A&M commit and 2026 4-star WR invited to Rivals Five-Star event
Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class is chock-full of talent at every position. Over the past week, two of the program's elite commits, four-star quarterback Helaman Casuga and four-star edge rusher Jordan Carter, have been invited to the annual Rivals Five-Star event in Indianapolis, Indiana, which now features the Aggies' top-ranked wide receiver commit. On Friday, it was revealed that 2024 four-star wide receiver Aaron Gregory has become the newest A&M commit to be invited to the event of the summer, showcasing his elite talent. This is highly unsurprising, given his impressive play this summer during various camps, where he demonstrated his elite route-running and improved downfield speed. Earlier this month, running back Jonathan Hatton and tight end Caleb Tafua, along with Gregory, shut down their recruitment and will sign with the program as soon as Early Signing Day on December 4. During his 2024 junior season at Douglas County HS, Gregory reeled in 53 receptions for 914 yards and nine touchdowns after recording 795 yards and eight touchdowns during the previous season. Gregory's ability to quickly separate in coverage and make plays after the catch is similar to former A&M wideout and current Oregon standout Evan Stewart. As soon as Gregory steps on campus, the Georgia native has a chance to climb up the 2026 depth chart as a third or fourth option during his freshman season. The NFL world has now known for two months that the Miami Dolphins are looking to trade Jalen Ramsey, but no deal has been made yet. Advertisement Ramsey did not appear at organized team activities (OTAs) or mandatory minicamp, and it would be a surprise at this point if he showed up for training camp next month. Now, Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio says you may not see a deal made until after the regular season begins, or at least until a notable injury takes place. "The fact that a trade hasn't happened proves that it's not going smoothly," Florio said. "Ultimately, the Dolphins may have to wait for someone with another team to get injured before a true market for Ramsey's contract will materialize." Advertisement Florio believes the team needs leverage to help them recoup some value from Ramsey's contract, worth upwards of $72.3 million through the 2028 season. He named the Rams as a potential partner that could help create some leverage. Florio noted that it is highly unlikely to see a scenario like Deshaun Watson had with the Houston Texans in 2021, where Watson was nearly traded but ended up being paid to sit the entire season. It would also be a surprise if Ramsey, who turns 31 in October, would be okay with sitting out an entire season at this point in his career. Both Ramsey and the Dolphins have motivation to work out a deal, Florio believes it is just a matter of what return Miami is comfortable with getting back.
