Good Morning Britain viewers were all saying the same thing as they were left stunned by rock star Billy Idol's appearance
On Tuesday's (22 April) instalment of Good Morning Britain, rock legend Billy Idol made an appearance, sharing updates on his latest projects with hosts Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley via video link from Los Angeles.
The 69 year old musician discussed his upcoming album, his first in over a decade, and revealed details about his forthcoming tour dates, including major UK shows.
However, despite the exciting news, viewers were more captivated by Billy's youthful appearance, with many struggling to believe he's approaching his 70th birthday in November.
Fans took to social media to express their amazement, with one writing: "# gmb @BillyIdol 70 next ! Looks amazing," and another agreeing, "OMG Billy looks so good for 70!"
A third viewer chimed in, saying: "Can't believe @BillyIdol is 70 this year.... Looking Good, Billy," while another said: "Morning Billy! GREAT to see you - your looking AMAZING, WELL - 69 REALLY!!? Good Luck with the Tour /new album (UK)."
Others showered Billy with praise, with one fan stating: "F***ing love #billyidol #gmb," and another reminiscing, "Saw Billy idol years ago at Milton Keynes bowl supporting Bon Jovi. Absolutely brilliant and worth seeing #gmb."
During the interview, Billy shared an update on his new music, revealing: "I've got a new album coming out April 25th, Dream Into It. I've got three duets on the album.
"Joan Jett's on Wildside, I've known her since 1978, after a Dead Kennedys concert. Alison Mosshart's on John Wayne, she's got this incredible voice, and Avril Lavigne on 77 - which came out today!"
He also thanked his loyal fanbase, saying: "I'm just really lucky I've got killer fans who really care about what I do, and they've stuck by me through thick and thin. Hopefully, the music I make has kept them interested. I'm coming to England in June to play Milton Keynes and Wembley. It's getting bigger!"
Another milestone is his long-awaited first nomination for entry into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, reports the Manchester Evening News.
"I was part of Ozzy's induction last year, I really enjoyed it. It's a great night, fantastic night. I've loved rock and roll since I was seven years old, and even just the thought of being in something with Little Richard, Buddy Holly, Bo Diddley, it's pretty amazing, let alone everybody else," he said on GMB.
Billy added: "I really love this music, it's an amazing honour. You also get the chance to thank your fans directly that night. Let's see what happens! Steve Stevens, my guitar player, is going to get in with me. If we get in, yeah!"

Michael Gove's ex Sarah Vine speaks out about sexuality rumours and why they split
"I was completely naïve. I genuinely didn't think it through at all." Michael Gove's ex-wife Sarah Vine has spoken out about his sexuality and the real reason for their separation three years ago. The columnist admitted during an interview on Good Morning Britain (GMB) on Monday, June 23: "I would like to say I know but maybe I don't." While appearing on the ITV show to promote her new book, Sarah was asked by presenter Susanna Reid how she felt about rumours that Michael was actually gay and his sexuality was the real reason for their divorce, the Mirror reports. Sarah responded: "Oh so much gossip. Everyone just assumed that was the reason. Michael is quite camp but he's not gay. He's really not gay. I would like to say I know but maybe I don't. "People often think, 'Poor sad Sarah, she doesn't realise'. But if you look at the amount of girlfriends he's had since he left politics, there have been a few. Even if he was gay, would it matter? I'm not that bothered." Speaking about how it was actually his political career that ended their marriage, she confessed she had "no idea" what the world of politics would be like. She added: "I was completely naïve. I genuinely didn't think it through at all." When quizzed on whether she would recommend going into politics as a married person, she said: "I would probably say no on reflection. Unless your children are grown up. "You need a very strong family background, you need people who really support you who are invested in the project - that's what I would say." Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Others were left stunned by Sarah's admissions about former prime minister Boris Johnson. She said: "I quite like Boris, he's quite a human politician. As politicians go, he's quite honest and himself - authentic." A second viewer commented, "Sarah Vine said Johnson was a very honest politician", alongside three laughing emojis. Another said: "She quite likes honest...f**k it all now..#gmb."

This Morning and Loose Women set for budget new home in 'cost-cutting mission'
ITV are reportedly moving This Morning, Loose Women and Lorraine to a new filming location after years at the Television Centre amid a string of cost-cutting measures ITV programmes This Morning, Loose Women and Lorraine will reportedly have a new home after filming at the Television Centre in Shepherds Bush in west London for the last seven years. The cost-cutting move comes a few weeks after staff at the broadcaster were hit with news that there would be redundancies amid huge changes for ITV. It has been a tough time for ITV's Daytime hosts and crew - after it was revealed there would be huge changes both behind the scenes and on the shows. Lorraine Kelly's self-titled programme will be cut by in half next year, to just half an hour a day and will only air 30 weeks of the year. Loose Women will keep its hour show - but again, it will be cut to just 30 out of 52 weeks a year. Good Morning Britain will benefit from the change, extending 30 mins to 9.30am each day - and will be produced by a different team than the other shows - Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women. And now, it has been reported that Loose Women, This Morning and Lorraine will be moved to The Hospital Club in Covent Garden, central London. A source told The Sun: "ITV are on a major budget saving mission and have landed a new deal to film ITV Daytime at what was The Hospital Club. "It's quite apt really as I'm sure they hope the move to the former hospital will breathe some life into their programme budgets. All three of their main shows, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women will be based there... in the basement where there's a state of the art studio." The insider said the changes are "needed to keep up with the ever evolving world of TV but it's a far cry from the plush life stars have become" used to at the Television Centre. Speaking to The Mirror, a source said: "We have always said that when the changes to our daytime schedule take place in 2026 that Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women will broadcast from a new central London location. The new studio is not yet confirmed and when it is we will obviously communicate that news to our staff first." Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV's Media and Entertainment Division, announced the initial changes last month, where he had said the changes were necessary to "generate savings". He said about the scheduling changes: "Daytime is a really important part of what we do, and these scheduling and production changes will enable us to continue to deliver a schedule providing viewers with the news, debate and discussion they love from the presenters they know and trust as well generating savings which will allow us to reinvest across the programme budget in other genres. "These changes also allow us to consolidate our news operations and expand our national, international and regional news output and to build upon our proud history of trusted journalism at a time when our viewers need accurate, unbiased news coverage more than ever." Sources have told The Mirror:"It's not a case of viewers seeing less of their shows… it's impossible to see how the high standards will remain the same. Some staff believe Loose Women and Lorraine in particular will enter a death spiral… it's just so sad. Just a handful of people will be working on each of those two programmes which has huge ramifications for how they are going forward. "If that's the case, will Loose Women really still have a live audience…will there be the capacity for that? Everyone doubts it, not least because of the manpower needed to oversee it. Also, there is a huge amount of background work which goes into securing guests… in the new climate how does that continue with barely any staff?"
