Primark's new £16 shoes look 'just like' iconic £325 Ganni pair
The Primark shoes bear a striking resemblance to a much more expensive pair from designer Ganni
Primark is stocking a pair of shoes that bear a striking resemblance to a pricier alternative. Known for its affordable fashion and homeware, the high street giant may have just introduced a new crowd-pleaser.
The retailer's Eyelet Ballerina Pointed Flats look similar to a style by designer brand Ganni, but at a fraction of the cost. Shoppers can snag the Primark version for £16, while the designer version is priced at £325 online.
The shoes are very similar, with matching pointed toes, flat soles, patent-leather look and large buckles on two straps. They both also feature silver-tone hardware and slingback straps.
However, the more expensive version feature a more textured faux leather look. The designer shoes also have metal eyelets on the two top straps, which Primark's do not have.
The high street shoes are described as "pointed ballet flats featuring dual eyelet buckle detail." They're available in sizes three to eight.
The designer product description reads: "The iconic Black Feminine Buckle Ballerinas are a key wardrobe staple. Crafted from a 51% recycled polyester-blend in a signature open-toe silhouette with metal eyelets, silver-tone buckles and sleek pointed toes."
The Primark shoes retail for £16, while the Ganni Black Feminine Buckle Ballerinas come in at £325 This means shoppers could save around £309 by opting for the bargain version.
Customers can grab the Primark shoes in stores now. Shoppers can check availability at their nearest store here.
Primark also recently released a new bag that's very similar in design to one made by Arket - but for a fraction of the price. The retailer's Oversized Crinkle Shopper Bag looks just like Arket's Lined Straw Bag.
Shoppers can snag the Primark version for £15, while the other version is currently priced at £119 online. The bags are very similar, with a woven design and crinkle-look finish in a burgundy shade. They also both feature a similar shape and magnet closure.
However, there are some differences too, including that the Arket bag has an adjustable, leather handle. Primark's is a fixed length and matches its woven design.

Why Primark is great for looking expensive on a budget By Clemmie Feildsend, Fabulous Fashion Editor AS someone who's no stranger to grabbing a last-minute outfit from Primark for a night out, it's about time that celebrities started catching on too. For as long as I've been heading out, Primark has been my go-to for those 'I have nothing to wear' moments, rushing in at the last minute to find something perfect. And I'm definitely not alone - on any Friday or Saturday night, you'll find plenty of shoppers doing the same thing, right before closing time. But no matter what, Primark always delivers. Now, Rita Ora is leading the charge, showing that you can snag a designer-worthy look without spending a fortune at high-end stores. While Rita's not rushing in last minute for a red carpet outfit, she's proving you can achieve the same high-impact style for much less. Looking stunning in her tailored suit alongside her mum Vera, Rita fit right in among the other A-listers dripping in Prada, Dior, and Victoria Beckham - if anything, she looked even better than some of the guests at The Fashion Awards. With Myleene Klass and Roxy Horner already jumping on the Primark bandwagon, I'm sure more stars will be following suit soon enough. And this sleek bag isn't the only fashion dupe currently available from Primark. Shoppers have been racing to pick up a Chanel-esque two-piece from the bargain retailer. The chain also launched dupes of a popular dress for £77 less than the high-end version. Plus, Primark shoppers shared their excitement over the "perfect" going out top. 4 The Primark bag has similar details to the designer buy but is created with synthetic leather Credit: Primark
