Dozens of children have been injured after a primary school in Germany was tear-gassed.
Miriam Makeba School in Berlin was evacuated and shut just after 9am today amid the mass incident.
A total of 34 pupils are suffering symptoms and are being treated by the emergency services at the scene on n Zinzendorfstrasse street.
Local media reported that tear gas had been sprayed in the hallway of the school building.
Several primary school students complained of shortness of breath and eye irritation as a result.
A spokesperson for the fire department said: 'We cared for 34 children and provided outpatient care; none of the children required hospital care.'

A woman in her 70s has suffered a serious head injury after she was attacked by a gang of girls and left bleeding on the floor. Emergency services were called to Sutton Park in Birmingham on Wednesday where the woman was found injured on the floor. Witnesses told police they say a 'a group of aggressive girls hitting an old lady' around 7.30pm near the play area. They wrote online: 'I witnessed this too and thought it was disgusting. 'Shouting in front of my daughter, and other children. Disgusting behaviour. 'Saw the older women on the floor at one point. I saw the women holding her head with tissue, think it was bleeding.
