15 teachers dismissed in Buxar over selection irregularities

Buxar: Education department on Friday dismissed 15 teachers in Buxar who were appointed through the teachers' recruitment examination (TRE), citing serious irregularities in their selection. The action was taken by district education officer, Amarendra Kumar Pandey. According to official sources, 14 of the dismissed teachers are residents of Uttar Pradesh (UP), who fraudulently claimed the benefits of reservation meant exclusively for candidates with domicile of Bihar.
