Boots £112 Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium perfume reduced to £33

Shoppers have said the luxury perfume gives an 'effortlessly graceful' impression to others who smell it
Boots shoppers can take advantage of a huge saving on an expensive perfume usually worth more than £100. For a limited time only, shoppers can get a major 70% saving on a "classy" perfume that users say is suited for both going to the office or on a night out.
The Black Opium Illicit Green Eau de Parfum is available with a massive discount. Normally, this expensive 75ml bottle would cost £112 at Boots, but there is an offer on to get it for just £33.60 - a huge saving of £78.40.
Illicit Green offers a twist on the classic YSL fragrance Black Opium. Its addition of "juicy green mandarin and creamy fig accord" creates a " vibrant mocktail-inspired fragrance that invigorates all the senses."
Boots has lots of deals on at the moment for people wanting to purchase a fragrance. Most deals apply to major brands and bigger bottles that should last a while, like Versace Woman Eau de Parfum (was £66, now £24) and Vera Wang Princess Eau de Toilette (was £66, now £26).
There are some men's options too, which might make ideal last-minute Father's Day presents for June 15. Big discounts include a 200ml bottle of BOSS Bottled Night Eau de Toilette (was £114, now £58.50) and the same-sized bottle of Rabanne Invictus Eau De Toilette (worth £129, now £64.50).
Other shops have similar offers on at the moment too. Superdrug is offering Ghost Deep Night Eau de Toilette (75ml for £28, reduced from £55) or The Perfume Shop has La Vie Est Belle (100ml for £67.99, down from £127).
But, women have been praising the glitter-encrusted bottle of YSL's designer fragrance that has been described as a "beautiful, classy fragrance" that "lasts ages" and "leaves an impression". Dozens shared their opinions online about the "luxurious fragrance".
One said: "Versatile and well-suited for a variety of settings, this scent is never offensive or overpowering — just effortlessly graceful." Another added: "Reasonable price and love the perfume. I wear it for work and going out."
A third wrote: "I have two other fragrances in the black opium collection, but Illicit Green is my favourite. When I'm out, people always ask what perfume I am wearing."
A few people had issues with the perfume, as one claimed: "Doesn't live up to YSL name. It doesn't stay long at all. Not value for money." Another added: "Really disappointed with the lasting of the fragrance. It just does not last on my skin and even I cannot smell it."
However, more experiences were positive as someone else put in their review: "The smell is very long-lasting and gets better as it wears. The first spray is not a true indicator of how it will smell once it settles. I absolutely love that it can be worn day or night, depending on how much you spray on yourself.
A fifth shared: "Lovely scent and lasts long, worth stocking up when discounted." And, one more added: "Absolutely brilliant, a great choice that smells divine and is a long-lasting fragrance."

A £12 peel-off lip stain I used for Ascot stayed put for ten hours

Head of beauty Zoe put Boots' viral lip liner stain to the test at Royal Ascot, and was left very impressed by the results... One beauty trend that I definitely think is here to stay is lip tinting. Gone are the days when you'd apply lipstick and have to spend the rest of the day touching it up in a mirror. We've entered an era of long-lasting tints that promise colour for hours on end, with no need to reapply. I was first introduced to them (a little late, admittedly) when I tuned into Love Island All Stars last year, when Elma Pazar was in the villa. I spotted her peeling off a lip formula and immediately needed to know what it was. As it turned out, it was Sacheu's now-viral STAY-N Lip Liner, £12. Stocked at Boots, this long-wear lip liner keeps your lips in line all day and night. Infused with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E for conditioning benefits, it also cares for your lips while it's working its magic. You could blend it slightly to get a full lip tint, but I like the way Elma applied it in the morning while she's doing the rest of her make-up before peeling it off ten minutes or so later to reveal perfectly lined lips that lasted her most of the day while she was lounging around the pool. I also spotted Elma applying it before bed so that her lips were lined with a kiss-proof colour before the lights go out. Anyway, consider me converted because I placed a Boots order as soon as I discovered it was this £12 buy she was using, and I've used it weekly ever since. I don't use it every day, because sometimes the setting and peeling off process feels like too much admin for me on a no-makeup day, but any time I want a lip look that will last me longer than an hour, I pull it out of my make-up bag. Case in point: this week, I needed a lip look to see me through a day at Royal Ascot. I knew the toilet queues would be long, so I wanted to make sure my lip colour was as low-maintenance as possible. I applied the shade P-inked at 9am before leaving, and amazingly, when I took a final selfie at 5pm, it was still in tact. You can actually see from my before and after how well the Stay-n Liner worked. I only used it on the borders of my lips as a liner, and used a regular lipstick to fill the centre of my pout. While the middle of my lips rubbed off relatively quickly, the tinted borders remained, dare I say, flawless. All-in-all, the tint lasted about ten hours before it began to fade. If you think you'll use the lip liner stain as often as I do, I seriously recommend taking a look at the pack of three bundle you can pick up from Amazon for £30. You save £6 off the price of buying them individually, and it means you have a choice of shades for all events this summer. If you're looking for another long-lasting stain option, our shopping writer Meghan also swears by Wonderskin's Wonderblading Lip Masque, £18 in a whole host of shades.

'I found a way to get 'fresh' £29 perfume for under £5 in Boots deal'

The high street retailer has just launched its latest beauty edit, and it's a good one. Filled with premium skincare, makeup and fragrance, the limited-edition bundle is perfect for summer Boots has a real knack for putting together covetable beauty edits, but its latest Get Holiday Ready Beauty Bag might be one of the strongest yet. Priced at £32, this limited-edition bundle boasts a value of £124.50, making it a tempting offer for anyone looking to elevate their summer skincare and makeup routine without the premium price tag. Inside, there are seven mini and travel-friendly products from high-end and cult-favourite brands, all zipped up in a chic, reusable pouch. Whether you're hopping on a plane or planning a local getaway, this kit is undeniably built for on-the-go ease. As for the products themselves, well, there's some seriously impressive picks to delight skincare, makeup and fragrance enthusiasts alike. The most valuable item in the edit is Floral Street's Sunflower Pop Eau de Parfum, which is usually £29 for 10ml - that's only £3 less than the price you pay for the whole box. And it actually works out at £4.57 when you divide the number of products you get by the price you pay. Perfect for summer, it's bright, citrusy, and a definite mood-booster in a bottle. Inspired by Vincent Van Gogh's Sunflowers, it features notes such as sweet mandarin and zesty bergamot, plum, musk and amber. It's not my usual vibe, however, I was pleasantly surprised by it's fresh scent and have found myself reaching for it on sunny days. The Sol de Janeiro Cheirosa 62 Perfume Mist is another fragrance in the mix, a viral sensation that has legions of fans thanks to its warm, beachy notes. If you love gourmand scents, it's a summer staple. Both the Sol de Janeiro mist and Floral Street perfume are very different, so some shoppers may not like both, however they do seem to serve different moods - plus it's nice to have the option. Boots Minis Bag Get Holiday Ready £124.50 £32.00 Boots Buy here Product Description Laneige's Water Bank Blue Hyaluronic Cream Moisturiser is another standout. This K-beauty favourite is ultra-hydrating but still lightweight, ideal for post-sun exposure or long travel days. It leaves the skin feeling plump without any residue, and the 20ml size is generous for a mini. As for makeup, the Milk Makeup Lip + Cheek in Werk is the ultimate travel companion. This multitasking cream stick can be used on the eyes, cheeks and lips for a really easy, cohesive makeup look. It's perfectly pigmented, easy to apply, and gives that dewy, flushed look as though you're just back from the beach. I almost didn't recognise Bobbi Brown's Vitamin Enriched Face Base without its iconic packaging, but truth be told, I actually like this squeezy applicator even more. This primer has earned cult status among beauty buffs and it's not hard to see why. I found it performed exceptionally well under makeup, helping everything stay fresh even after a full day out. The 15ml tube goes a long way, too - a little truly does the job. The MAC Stack Elevated Mascara Mini mascara is another great addition to the edit. It delivers impressive volume and lift, perfect for travel or topping up during a long day. My only critique is that the mini wand can feel a bit fiddly, especially for those used to a full-size applicator, but it's a fair trade for the travel convenience. Finally, there's the Rituals The Ritual Of Karma Shimmering Body Oil which gives a gorgeous glow to the skin. It's a great finishing touch for holiday evening looks, but I think it's got a relatively short window of use year-round as I'm unlikely to wear this on an average Wednesday afternoon, as I would some of the other products. That said, the edit is designed with holidays in mind, so one can't grumble too much. To help take the stress out of packing, a number of other popular high street retailers have also released travel edits, with fashion favourite ASOS offering their Luxury Travel Essentials Beauty Box. Coming in a handy travel pouch, the edit costs £40 and boasts £135 worth of products, saving £95 on the RRP. Inside, shoppers will find eight products from a range of top brands, including Elemis, Laneige, Sol de Janeiro and Elizabeth Arden. As part of the offer, each item works out at £5 apiece. Glossybox has released a brand-new Travel Beauty Kit Limited Edition - and it saves shoppers more than £120 on the contents. While the goodies inside this beauty haul are worth over £150, it can be snapped up for an impressive £30 by subscribers, or £40 by non-subscribers. Glossybox's travel kit features 12 skincare, makeup and haircare treats, five of which are full-sized. The Boots edit has received nothing but praise from shoppers, with five star reviews across the board. One wrote: 'Such a good selection of products - especially for taking away. The bag itself is also great quality. I was going to buy the cream blush and that was £22 on its own! Please bring out more edits as good as this one.' Another added: 'Great value, nice selection of items, especially liked the fragrance,' while a third wrote: 'Looking forward to using these lovely products on my holiday.' 'Absolutely love this little set,' said another. 'I wanted to try a few of these products for a while and when I saw this set for the price I instantly bought. 10/10. Bag is really spacious and will come in handy when I go on holiday.' And I have to agree with the masses, because this set really is packed with genuinely useful, luxe-feeling products that most people would be thrilled to take on holiday. The Milk, Laneige, and Floral Street products alone justify the purchase, but the entire lineup compliments each other nicely together. Shop the edit here.

Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up With a bit of organisation, you can save food from going off, see what needs to be eaten and be inspired to freshen up your meals. GET IN THE ZONE: If you use each part of the fridge in the right way, you'll keep food fresher for longer. Keep ready-to-eat foods on the top shelf, from leftovers to open jars. The middle shelf is perfect for milk, cheese and yoghurt. While on the bottom shelf, store raw meat and fish. Put a tray underneath to catch any dips. Keep fruit and veg in the salad drawers. If you can adjust the humidity, go high for leafy greens and low for fruit. The fridge door is warmer, so is perfect for sauces and fruit juice. MIX AND MATCH: Some fruit and vegetables give off high levels of the natural ripening chemical ethylene, which means they can spoil produce placed nearby. Sophie Trueman from food waste campaign Too Good To Go, says: 'Apples are a major culprit along with pears, bananas, mangoes, plums and nectarines, so it's always best to try and store fruits like these away from each other so they ripen at a steadier pace.' Dunnes Stores fans go wild for NEW must-have summer staples Not all fruits and vegetables are sensitive to ethylene. Cherries, pineapples, grapefruit and blueberries can all be safely stored together or next to those that produce this gas. BERRY GOOD IDEAS: Store berries in the fridge as soon as buying them. Ideally, keep them in a breathable container lined with kitchen roll to absorb excess moisture. You can also line your salad drawer with paper towel to stop things getting soggy. Wrapping vegetables like broccoli, cabbage, green beans and carrots in foil will keep them crisper for longer. Keep salads and herbs away from the back of the fridge, where they could freeze and turn to mush. All prices on page correct at time of going to press.
