Litchfield Jazz Festival returns for 30th anniversary

WASHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — The Litchfield Jazz Festival will return to the Frederick Gunn School in Washington for the 30th year.
This year's festival will run from July 25-27 with a multitude of musical and culinary events on the schedule.
Mohegan Sun unveils summer 2025 outdoor entertainment lineup
On July 25, the festivities will kick off with the Opening Night Gala at 5:45 p.m., followed by a concert at 7:45 p.m.
The music will continue on the 26th, with 'All Jazz, All Day,' featuring some returning Litchfield Jazz artists.
Sunday will feature a 'Jazz Brunch Finale' featuring hand-crafted food and a musical performance.

The Branford Festival is a three-day celebration with a road race, music, food and local crafts. Due to construction, this year's event will be held at Hammer Field instead of Branford Green. What dad doesn't love bacon? The Connecticut Bacon Festival is a two-day bacon celebration! Dad can try out chocolate-covered bacon, bacon mac and cheese, candied bacon and more at the Lebanon Fairgrounds. To celebrate 'Open House Day,' the Noah Webster House in West Hartford will offer free tours of the home and garden. There will be crafts, games and a new exhibit. Bird lovers can combine the beauty of birds with history at the Connecticut Audobon Bird Walk. The stroll around the Oak Lawn Cemetery and Arboretum in Fairfield will start with spotting gorgeous birds, followed by a guided tour of the Ogden House. You need to be registered to join in. The Lyman Orchards Strawberry Festival is a sweet way to kick off summer. After you pick your own berries, you can check out the food trucks, get your face painted, or loosen your belt for the pie-eating contest. It's family fun Saturday at the 6th annual Hamden Fest! The packed day includes a road race, arts and crafts, food and music. The Hamden Chamber of Commerce will also be there to talk a little business. If dad likes a cold one, Ski Sundown is the place to be. Dad can sample more than 80 beers, wines and spirits at the Litchfield Hills Brewfest. You have to be 21 to get in on the fun.
