Huawei's new Watch Fit 4 Pro is packed with outdoor features and pro-level health tools
Huawei launched several new products today and along with the new Watch 5, it also dropped the new Watch Fit 4 series. So if you are not into the round watch look and want something sleek and square, this one is for you.Staying true to its signature square design, the Huawei Watch Fit 4 series brings a fresh, lightweight and fashion-forward feel that is all about an active, health-focused lifestyle.The star here is the new Watch Fit 4 Pro, which takes things up a notch with a thinner build and a ton of pro-level fitness and outdoor features. We are talking watersports route tracking, offline maps for trail runs, diving up to 40 meters, support for over 15,000 global golf course maps, a new barometer for tracking elevation during hikes – the list goes on.
Outdoor lovers also get checkpoint-based navigation and professional trail running support. There are also seven new sports modes, including mountain climbing and skiing.

These upgrades aim to offer a fuller, smarter wellness experience.
The Fit 4 Pro even brings in new gesture support and the Huawei TruSense System for more accurate health and fitness tracking. And for the first time in the Fit series, you've got ECG measurement baked in, giving you real-time heart health info whenever you need it. These upgrades are clearly aimed at users who want more than just step counts and basic heart rate.

And both watches support things like quick replies, voice notes, remote shutter, weather updates, and work with both iOS and Android phones. That means even iPhone users can get in on the action without losing key features.Speaking of design, Huawei went all-in with premium materials this time. The Fit 4 Pro sports a sapphire glass display, titanium alloy bezel and aviation-grade aluminum body – all wrapped up in a 9.3mm thin profile that weighs only 30.4 grams. The regular Fit 4 is just as sleek at 9.5mm thick and 27 grams.Both bring a rotating crown for smoother control and a vibrant display that hits up to 3000 nits brightness – perfect for outdoor viewing.

As for US availability, there is no official word yet, but based on previous launches, they are expected to show up on Amazon. And the price in the US could be a bit lower, but to be sure, stay tuned for updates!Now, if Huawei isn't really your thing but you are still on the lookout for a new smartwatch focused on health and fitness tracking, Google's Fitbit lineup might be a good fit.

Huawei has not detailed plans for a global rollout of the new Pura 80 series, but given that the Pura 70 models are available in places like Europe, Indonesia and others, it's hard to imagine that the new generation will be available only in China. So, assuming the Pura 80 phones are available near you soon, would you buy one – and which one? Huawei Pura 80 • Huawei Pura 80 Pro • Huawei Pura 80 Pro+ • Huawei Pura 80 Ultra Starting with the Huawei Pura 80 Ultra, that has a crazy complicated camera system that moves the same 50MP 1/1.28' sensor between two lenses – 3.7x/83mm and 9.4x/212mm. The phone also has a 1'-type 50MP main sensor and a 40MP ultra-wide camera. The 6.8' LTPO display is backed by a 5,700mAh battery with 100W wired and 80W wireless charging. The Huawei Pura 80 Pro and Pura 80 Pro+ mainly differ in areas like memory and satellite connectivity. Both keep the 1'-type main camera from the Ultra, but settle for a single telephoto camera – a 48MP 4x/93mm module. The ultra-wide is still 40MP. The display and battery are the same as the Ultra too. The vanilla Huawei Pura 80 has a smaller 6.6' display, still an LTPO OLED, and a 5,600mAh battery with 66W wired and 50W wireless charging. The camera system is more basic, but still quite capable with a 50MP 1/1.3' main, 12MP 5x/125mm tele and 13MP ultra-wide. Note that the Pura 80 launch is still pending. Huawei is keeping chipset details under wraps, but we think it's the same chipset as on the Mate X6, at least at the top of the Pura 80 range. And these phones don't run Android but HarmonyOS. The global variants should get EMUI instead, though. Huawei unveils HarmonyOS 6 with new AI agent framework, Dev Beta now out
Huawei kicked off its Developer Conference today, and Executive Director Richard Yu took the stage to unveil HarmonyOS 6 - Huawei's next major launch of the in-house software. HarmonyOS 6 brings the usual design polish, tweaks, and improvements, but the OS' most important new feature is the new Intelligent Agent Framework. It aims to bring more human-like and natural interaction between you and HarmonyOS 6's new personal assistant - XiaoYi. The aim here is for the OS to intuitively understand what you want and respond depending on it, instead of relying on simple voice prompts. XiaoYi supports scanning your entire smartphone screen to give you results, similar to Circle to Search. On stage, Huawei showed off HarmonyOS 6's AI framework in action - you can talk to ChatExcel to handle your Excel needs, ask XiaoYi to help you with making apps for HarmonyOS 6, etc. A neat feature of HarmonyOS 6 is Touch and Share. It works between eligible PCs and smartphones (no word yet on which those are but they could be Huawei-exclusive) and allows you to send multiple files, or connect to a game with your friends by simply tapping the phone to the computer's screen. The HarmonyOS 6 Developer Beta Program is now live, and developers can sign up until June 30. Devs need to complete verification with Huawei's Developer Alliance to enroll. Huawei will soon become one of the several brands to release a very powerful phone
Although the flagship market is oversaturated with devices that more often than not offer the same hardware configuration every year, there's still room for brands that really want to stand out to introduce innovative it comes to hardware, there are two ways a company can make its flagship product stand out. Either it uses hardware that's more powerful than almost every other flagship available on the market, or it uses advanced technology that offers its product the upper hand in the battle for is already one of the biggest phone makers in the world. However, just like many other brands just as big, it doesn't have a phone that packs at least 20GB RAM. According to a new tip coming from reliable leaker Digital Chat Station , Huawei will soon join the very short list of companies that have already released a phone with 20GB+ RAM. Currently, there are seven companies that have experience in launching such powerful phones: Asus, Honor, Infinix, Nubia, OnePlus, Realme, and Xiaomi. None of the 'big' names like Apple, Motorola, Samsung or any other of the 'established' brands are on the list, so the fact that Huawei indeed plans to release a 20GB+ RAM phone seems important. That new smartphone will feature a new flagship chip with improved energy efficiency, as well as 20GB+ RAM. Huawei's new flagship with 20GB+ RAM might be part of the Mate 80 series, which is expected to arrive later this fall, but this is just a guess based on previous history.
