Seth MacFarlane releases ‘The Lost Sinatra' album featuring unrecorded classics from Sinatra's archive
Seth MacFarlane has released a new album titled Lush Life: The Lost Sinatra, featuring a collection of unreleased songs from Frank Sinatra's golden era.
The project stems from a personal and musical journey that saw MacFarlane gain access to rare Sinatra arrangements through a close friendship with the Sinatra family.
During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, MacFarlane recalled how his admiration for big band and film score music led him to Sinatra's work. 'If you take his vocal out of a lot of his recordings it sounds like he's singing to a film score,' he explained. Through this connection, he became friends with Frank Sinatra Jr. and later with Tina Sinatra, who offered him access to a vast archive of original charts.
'When Frank Jr passed away the stewardship of Sinatra's library of charts moved on to her,' MacFarlane said. 'She asked if I would like to acquire it and I said absolutely.' Among thousands of charts, about 100 songs were found that Sinatra never recorded, many from 1958 to the early 1960s.
These songs now make up The Lost Sinatra, showcasing orchestrations that maintain the classic sound of Sinatra's most iconic years.
Lush Life: The Lost Sinatra is available now.

LISA of BLACKPINK is a proud Swiftie, and when it comes to karaoke, she has a go-to Taylor Swift hit. In a recent Teen Vogue interview with her White Lotus co-star Tayme Thapthimthong, the Thai rapper quickly named 'You Belong With Me' as her top karaoke choice. Walton Goggins shared he was bitten by a snake on The White Lotus set, had to go to hospital
Walton Goggins faced his worst fear while filming The White Lotus season 3—getting bitten by a snake. The actor, who plays the grumpy Rick in the hit HBO series, revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live that he was rushed to the hospital after being bitten during a dramatic scene. Goggins shared that his scene involved his character having a drug-induced meltdown at a snake show, leading him to open multiple cages. The actor, who has a deep fear of snakes, was already on edge when the handler walked him through which snakes were venomous before filming. "All I'm thinking about is the very first cage where the snake will kill you — 'don't open that' — and then the rest of it just goes out of my mind," Goggins recalled. During the scene, he mistakenly grabbed a green snake that resisted being pulled out. "As I was pulling the snake out, he didn't wanna come, right? And so he turns around and he bit me," he said. Initially, the production team treated the bite with Neosporin, and Goggins continued shooting for nine more hours. However, the next day, a producer called him and suggested he go to the hospital for a tetanus shot. "Am I dying a slow death? Is there something you know I don't?" Goggins joked. He later confirmed that HBO's legal team likely prompted the hospital visit, laughing about being asked to sign paperwork immediately after. Despite his terror, Goggins completed filming but described the experience as "a horror show" and "a nightmare."
