Fashion Icon Keira Knightley Goes Back to Her Rocker-Chic Style Roots for the Vogue 25
Keira Knightley subtly paid homage to her rocker-chic era in her latest photoshoot, and it has us feeling nostalgic!
For British Vogue's July 2025 Issue, they made a gorgeous campaign called 'The Vogue 25: Meet The Women Defining Britain In 2025.' This issue is filled with stars like Amal Clooney, designer Dilara Findikoglu, The Princess of Wales, singer Chloe Qisha, and of course, Knightley. (You can see the photos from the issue HERE!)

The Actress Playing Carolyn Bessette in the Upcoming Anthology Had to Undergo a Serious Transformation
And for the issue, we can see that Knightley went back to her rocker chic fashion by rocking a dark denim vest, a white shirt, and jeans from Chanel. It's an elegant version of rocker chic, but it totally reminds us of her fashion in the early 2000s.
Back in 2001, for her first-ever red carpet moment, she went to the Bridget Jones's Diary London premiere in a truly rocker ensemble: black leather pants and a sheer black camisole with a matching lace bra underneath.
She often wore black at premieres in the early 2000s, including at the 200s London premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse of the Black Pearl, when she wore a gothic dark shirt and jeans. Along with that, she wore a lace-up corset for the Love Actually premiere, her Domino era, and lots of fur-lined ensembles until 2005.
2000 to 2005 was her rocker era, and we love that she's paying homage to that in her photoshoot.
Now, along with being a fashion icon, Knightley has learned how to turn out the haters when it comes to her looks. In a previous interview with The Talks, the Nutcracker star discussed how she stopped caring about the random backlash she got (even on the red carpet) as she's gotten older. 'I learned you can say nothing, you can be perfectly smiling, wearing a perfectly nice dress at the opening of a charity and people can still despise you for it,' she said.
She also spoke to Vogue about growing older, saying, 'It's quite nice to have lived your life and have lived experiences. And be like, 'Well, I've been through that and I've come out the other side. And here we are and it's all a bit chaotic, but you can go on.''Best of SheKnows

Shannon Ghee is backing the campaign (Image: Powerleague Cardiff) A new campaign is shining a light on women and girls in football. Powerleague Cardiff has launched She's Got Game in response to research showing that 46 per cent of women and girls in the UK have felt judged or excluded for wanting to play football. Advertisement The initiative aims to celebrate, support, and promote female players across Wales and the UK. Christian Rose, CEO of Powerleague, said: "This survey confirms what we've long believed, that women and girls in Cardiff and across the UK are not only passionate about football, but ready to play. "Yet too many still face barriers that simply shouldn't exist. "At Powerleague, we're committed to breaking those down by creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where everyone can thrive, no matter their background or ability. "Football should be for everyone, and we're proud to be part of the movement making that a reality." Advertisement The campaign also includes a competition inviting women and girls to share their football skills and favourite moments. Entrants will receive a free off-peak five-a-side pitch voucher and the chance to win one-to-one coaching with freestyle footballer Shannon Ghee. Powerleague Cardiff will also screen live matches throughout the UEFA Women's Euros, offering fans a safe place to gather while encouraging new audiences to take part in the game. Shannon Ghee said: "Football has given me confidence, community, and so much joy, and I want every girl and woman to feel that too. "She's Got Game is about celebrating skill, creativity, and passion, no matter your level. "I encourage everyone across Cardiff to have a go at a trick, or share their favourite football bit, this summer."

An Englishman in Newport – Sting wows Isle of Wight Festival
Former The Police frontman Sting has wowed the crowds at the Isle of Wight Festival with a set of greatest hits. Wearing a white T-shirt and tight black trousers, the 73-year-old raced straight into fan favourite Message In A Bottle which got the crowd singing along. Half way through his one-and-a-half-hour slot, Sting said to the Newport audience: 'We are delighted to be back at the Isle of Wight festival, it's a historic festival. 'Thank you for inviting us.' After bounding through An Englishman in New York, Walking On The Moon and Every Breath You Take, the band went off before returning for an encore of Roxanne which the crowds enthusiastically sang along to. Sting then finished with Fragile, the only acoustic song in the set. Other bands taking to the Main Stage on Friday included Lottery Winners, Amy Macdonald, The Corrs and Faithless ending the night while Clean Bandit headlined the Big Top. Some 55,000 partygoers have crossed the Solent to reach Seaclose Park in Newport for the four-day event also being headlined by Stereophonics and Justin Timberlake. John Giddings, who has run the festival since re-launching it in 2002 following the legendary events which ran from 1968 to 1970, has said he goes with 'gut feeling' when choosing the acts. The 72-year-old told the PA news agency: 'You want to book acts that have a catalogue that's going to entertain an audience for an hour, hour and a half, and, secondly, someone who's capable of performing to an audience of 50,000 people in a field, because they need to be able to project to entertain.' Other acts performing during the weekend include The Script, Jess Glynne, Supergrass, Example, Busted and Texas.
