Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain actor Shubhangi Atre cries remembering ex-husband Piyush Poorey: ‘Doctors said if he didn't change his lifestyle, he'll die'. Watch
Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain actor Shubhangi Atre lost her ex-husband Piyush Poorey in April, this year. He passed away after a prolonged battle with liver cirrhosis, just two months post their divorce. Now, in a recent interview, she revealed that the doctors had already given a warning to them about the possible risks, if he didn't make changes in his lifestyle and overcome his alcohol addiction.
During a conversation with a reporter from Viral Bhayani's team, Shubhangi was seen getting visibly emotional while talking about Piyush. She said, 'Main yahi kahungi ke bahot hi unfortunate tha… But, I think it is because of addiction. Doctors ne bahot pehle hi bol diya tha ke agar woh apna lifestyle change nahi karenge, toh yeh ho sakta hai (I will just say that it was very unfortunate. Doctors had told him earlier that if he didn't change his lifestyle, this might happen. So, I knew that it might happen, but I had no idea that it would happen so early).'

Achchi yadoon mein main yaad rakhna chahati ho Piyush ko aur main aaj bhi yahi bolti ho ki Ashi (their daughter) ko bless karte rehna. Hum dono ko guide karte rehna, and that's it (I want to remember Piyush in good memories, and even today I say keep blessing Ashi. Keep guiding both of us, and that's it).'

Exclusive - Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain actress Shubhangi Atre: The industry will continue to change, it's a bit scary
Actress Shubhangi Atre, who is known for her show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain, says that the industry has grown by leaps and bounds, and the modes of entertainment are going to continue to evolve. She adds that this can get a little overwhelming at times. 'The industry has already changed a lot, especially after COVID. The work culture and budgeting have changed. And in the next five years, with artificial intelligence growing, I feel things will change even more. It's a bit scary honestly. But I still believe that content is king. If you create good content, it will always work. Today people are very stressed in life, and entertainment gives them a little break from that. Music and entertainment offer relief, so we should focus on creating good content,' she says. Ask her what changes she wants to see, and she says, 'The content on TV is still a bit regressive, and that bothers me. We can definitely make more progressive shows. Second, I feel TV actors don't get the respect they deserve. People often don't take TV actors seriously. There's a perception that TV actors are overexposed or not as good. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Memperdagangkan CFD Emas dengan salah satu spread terendah? The mindset towards TV actors needs to change.' Meanwhile, she says that the cut-throat nature of the industry is one thing that will not change. 'Competition is very real. Sometimes people don't want to do certain roles, or they leave projects. That's their personal choice, and I respect that. But if someone is more committed, more disciplined, or more eager to work, then yes, they will get opportunities. That's what we call survival of the fittest. I just believe don't snatch work from someone, but if they don't want to do it and you can, there's no harm. Life goes on. Nothing is irreplaceable. And stardom is very temporary. We are just like passing faces on a screen. What truly matters is how well we perform and how much people connect with us,' she says. On the occasion of International Yoga Day , popular television actress Shubhangi Atre—best known for her role as Angoori Bhabhi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain—opened up about her long-standing connection with yoga. For her, yoga has evolved from just a fitness routine into something far more personal and transformative. 'Yoga has been an integral part of my life for years now,' she shared. 'What started as a workout session quickly became a wellness practice for me.' As someone who juggles a demanding career and personal responsibilities, Shubhangi revealed how yoga became her anchor in difficult times. 'Yoga has helped me maintain the balance well, find calm in chaos, and be at peace even in the most stressful situations,' she said. Talking about her routine, she practices yoga at least three times a week, often more when her schedule allows. 'It's not about pushing my limits, but about listening to what my body and mind need on that day. I begin with a bit of pranayama, followed by a few asanas. Surya Namaskar is something I enjoy because it works on the entire body,' she explained. She always ends her sessions with meditation. 'Even if it's just for five minutes, it helps me check in with myself,' she added. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 40세 미만이라면 이 매혹적인 게임을 하지 마세요 경복의 바다 플레이하기 Undo 'On some days yoga is for the body, and on some it's for my mind.'
