Usko manjoor nahi tha ki..' This actress left her boyfriend a year before her death, broke up due to..., her name was...
For several years, there's been endless rumours and gossips about Kabir Bedi and Parveen Babi's relationship, and why they broke up suddenly. While, many villainised Bedi as he walked away, the actor once opened up and revealed his side of the story.
Kabir revealed that when they went to London, he observed Parveen wasn't keeping well mentally, and persuaded her to seek help. Well, it was the major reason why she left him, and refused to heed his advice. While talking to Digital Commentary, Kabir was quoted saying, 'Vo toh isliye humare relationship ki khatam hui kyunki jab Italy ke baad hum London aaye mai ne dekha uski condition kharab ho rahi hai. Aur usko yeh manjoor nahi tha, jab ki mai janta tha ki agar vo treatment nahi legi toh haal bigadta jayega. Or is baat pe huamri separation hogayi.'
The actor also revealed how he was accused for their breakup, with many claiming the reason was Parveen's mental instability. Defending himself at that time, Kabir said, 'I was demonised but I thought that I could either clear up the misunderstanding and make her look bad or just keep quiet and let her get the sympathy and get the roles so that she can reestablish herself and her career. I spoke about it five years later at the Filmfare.'
Kabir also recalled meeting Parveen just a year prior her death, 'I met her a year before she passed away. She was laying beside the pool, sunning herself and she said, 'Oh, Kabir.' She was embarassed to see me, she had changed a lot. She told me, 'I'm fine but people think I'm mad.' I told her, 'You have made accusations against people and naturally they will have an opinion.' She looked at me and said, 'You also think I'm mad. You are one of them. I don't want to see you again. Please leave.' I wished her well and left. I was sorry to see her in that state. But she had a flat and she was looked after, she was working as an interior designer.'
Kabir concluded by saying that he always cared for her and wanted her to seek help. But, her fear of losing out on work and other opportunities, was the major issue, hence his attempts failed to support her.

India's biggest flop film was produced by Ratan Tata, made for Rs 80 crore, film earned only Rs…, even Amitabh Bachchan couldn't save it, movie is…
India's one of the most respected and renowned business leaders, Ratan Tata, passed away at the age of 86 in 2024. Apart from being a known and loved businessman, Ratan Tata also had a brief connection with Bollywood. Interestingly, Ratan Tata also produced a film which had Amitabh Bachchan in it. He invested in the film, but even a big name like Amitabh couldn't save it from flopping. While you may feel curious about the film produced by Ratan Tata, let us make it easy for you by telling you the name. It is Bipasha Basu and John Abraham's erotic thriller Aetbaar. About The Film Produced by Ratan Tata Aetbaar was released in 2004 and featured Bipasha Basu and John Abraham in lead roles. The movie is about how a woman wants to get rid of her husband, and for that, she traps an unemployed man as the killer of her husband. The movie is helmed by Vikram Bhatt and also starred Supriya Pilgaonkar. The movie was inspired by the 1996 American film Fear. Though the film was a huge flop, stories from the set often emerge. One such incident was shared by John Abraham, when he revealed that he was once denied entry to the film's muhurat shot. In an interview with Filmfare, he recalled, 'When I arrived for my first muhurat shot, I came on a motorcycle. The film was Aetbaar, and Hrithik Roshan and Amitabh Bachchan were there to clap the board for me. Hrithik and I were classmates—he's a sweetheart. But when I reached the venue, the security stopped me at the gate and asked, 'Who are you?' I told them, 'This is my film's muhurat,' but they didn't recognize me and refused to let me in.' He added, 'Finally, after some convincing, they opened the gates, and I saw Amitabh Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan waving at me, calling me in. That was my first time—it happened at Sujeet Kumar's house.'

Six years on, Sandeep Reddy Vanga marks ‘Kabir Singh' anniversary with gratitude and reflection
Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga took to social media on June 21 to commemorate six years since the release of Kabir Singh, the polarizing blockbuster that redefined Bollywood's approach to romantic storytelling. Sharing a nostalgic poster of Kiara Advani soaked in Holi colors, Vanga captioned the post with a simple message: 'Thanks for the love, 6 years for Kabir,' tagging lead actor Shahid Kapoor, music composers, and producers. Released on June 21, 2019, Kabir Singh was the Hindi adaptation of Vanga's own Telugu cult hit Arjun Reddy. While the film courted significant controversy for its depiction of toxic masculinity and emotional volatility, it simultaneously achieved staggering commercial success. Grossing over $40 million worldwide, it became the ninth highest-grossing Indian film of its time. Shahid Kapoor's portrayal of Kabir, a hot-headed surgeon spiraling into self-destruction after heartbreak, drew both critical acclaim and backlash. Despite the polarizing reactions, Kapoor earned a Filmfare nomination, and the film ultimately shifted the perception of romantic heroes in Hindi cinema—from idealized lovers to flawed, emotionally charged individuals. Kabir Singh's continued relevance owes much to its availability on streaming platforms like Netflix, where it continues to attract both new viewers and fresh debate. A 2023 University of Mumbai study cited the film as a turning point that challenged conventional romantic narratives, placing inner turmoil and psychological complexity at the heart of its story. As Vanga prepares for upcoming projects like Animal, his acknowledgment of Kabir Singh's anniversary underscores the film's enduring legacy. Love it or loathe it, Kabir Singh remains a cultural touchstone—provocative, impactful, and very much a part of India's cinematic conversation.

‘Ranbir Kapoor dresses very classy': Ibrahim Ali Khan names RK as Bollywood's most fashionable star
Jun 21, 2025 04:05 PM IST Even before he began his career as an actor, Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan was already a heartthrob across social media. The credit goes to his drop-dead good looks, uncanny resemblance to Saif in his younger days, hilarious interactions with the paparazzi and his dressing sense — stylish and not over the top. After his debut film Nadaaniyan released, Ibrahim and his co-star Khushi Kapoor became targets for online trolling. However, he recently redeemed himself when he stepped out looking dapper in a suit with Rasha Thadani at an event, once again winning hearts with his style. But who does Ibrahim find stylish in Bollywood? Ranbir Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan In a recent chat with Filmfare, Ibrahim Ali Khan named Ranbir Kapoor as the most fashionable Bollywood star. When asked who has the best fashion sense in the industry, the star kid replied, 'I would say it is Ranbir Kapoor. He dresses very classy.' Ibrahim went on to describe his top three favourite looks of Ranbir over the years. Ibrahim shared, 'He wears jeans with the Chelsea boots. He pairs it with a t-shirt that is not too slim and not too tight. And then adds a nice, either a blanket-ish kind of a jacket or like a coat. It's a classic look that Ranbir Kapoor smashes. He smashes that look. Looks cool and nice.' While Ibrahim is a fan of Ranbir's style, RK's actor wife Alia Bhatt is 'obsessed' with Iggy and has called him the cutest person she knows on Karan Johar's chat show. When Alia graced KJo's chat show with Ranveer Singh, much before Ibrahim's Bollywood debut, she revealed Iggy's sweet message to her after he watched Gangubai Kathiawadi (2022). Lauding Alia's 'phenomenal' performance in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film, Ibrahim had claimed that she mould herself into a character like water taking the shape of its container. For the uninitiated, Ibrahim was an assistant director on Alia and Ranveer's 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. On the film front, Ibrahim will next be seen in KJo's Sarzameen with Kajol.
