Housefull 5 Movie Leaked Online: Akshay Kumar's latest release has fallen prey to piracy. Despite actors and filmmakers repeatedly warning the audience against illegal downloading, piracy hasn't been curbed totally. The film has been leaked across various piracy platforms on the opening day.
Just hours after Housefull 5 hit theatres, pirated versions of the film reportedly began circulating across multiple illegal platforms. The comedy-drama was leaked in various formats, including HD, 1080p, 720p, and lower resolutions. The film is currently streaming on common piracy sites such as Filmyzilla, Movierulez, Tamilrockerz, and several Telegram channels.
Soon after, piracy-related keywords like 'Housefull 5 Movie Download', 'Housefull 5 HD Free Download', 'Housefull 5 Tamilrockers', and 'Housefull 5 Telegram Links' began trending online, sparking concerns about the growing impact of digital piracy. The makers have yet to issue a statement on the matter.
The makers of Housefull 5 experimented with two endings, which will vary from theatre to theatre. On the film's release date, fans have been specifically urging others to not reveal or discuss the spoilers on social media. Taking to X (formerly Twitter), a fan wrote, 'My sincere request to fans to not post live scenes direct from the cinema of #Housefull5 here – let us enjoy theater viewing." Another penned, ''#Housefull5 please don't post any spoilers. it's a request." Yet another posted, 'Another fan wrote, '#Housefull5 Day, caution Do not leak the killer . No need to spoilers to any scene Go watch and enjoy with your family."
Before the release of his films, Akshay Kumar specifically requests fans to stand up against piracy. Before the release of his 2017 film, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, the actor wrote on social media: 'The fight against piracy is critical and it's reassuring to see the swift action taken by the Crime Branch on the unfortunate incident involving our film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha. I would like to urge my friends, colleagues, fans and audiences to please say no to piracy. Thank you for all your support."
Why watching pirated version of films isn't recommended
Watching leaked versions of films on pirated sites has its own downsides. Clicking on suspicious links can expose you to malware threats and financial scams. Users will have to compromise on quality, and explicit ads along with inappropriate pop-ups create an unsafe environment for viewers. Moreover, accessing pirated content violates copyright laws and can result in serious legal consequences.

Housefull 5 Second Saturday Box Office Estimates: Akshay Kumar starrer stays in race to emerge a mid-range success in India
Tarun Mansukhani's Housefull 5 led by Akshay Kumar is still getting audiences in its 3rd weekend, despite some stiff competition from Sitaare Zameen Par. After ending its first 2 weeks in India collecting Rs 151.75 crore net, the movie managed Rs 1.50 crore on its third Friday. Today, that is on its third Saturday, the movie has collected Rs 1.80 crore, to take the total to Rs 155.05 crore. Another Rs 2 crore on Sunday will take the comic-caper to Rs 157.05 crore net. The Day Wise Net India Collections Of Housefull 5 Are As Under Particulars India Net Collection Week 1 Rs 114.40 crore Week 2 Rs 37.35 crore 3rd Friday Rs 1.50 crore 3rd Saturday Rs 1.80 crore Total Rs 155.05 crore net Housefull 5 remains on course to emerge a mid-range success. Although a mid-range success is not that great a result for a franchise film with a cent percent hit track-record, it is not as bad as many of the big films that have released post-pandemic. It could have been worse given the initial perception of the movie that was created. Housefull 5 Opened Well But The Trend Over The Weekdays Was Not Strong The first weekend numbers of Housefull 5 were good and it is the weekday trend that was weak, resulting in a lower than required second week. Had the word of mouth been favourable, it would have crossed Rs 200 crore net and settled for a lifetime number in the range of Rs 250 crore net. The overseas haul of USD 6.75-7 million could have been more like 10 million with favourable reception, pushing the film's global numbers close to Rs 375 crore instead of Rs 265-275 crore gross. Housefull 5's Reception Proves That Branded Content Still Works One thing that is clear is that branded content is working and the final result of Housefull 5, which is decent but underwhelming, should not make it seem like focus should shift away from sequels. Akshay Kumar has a bunch of branded (Sequel/IP) content up for release, from Welcome To The Jungle to Jolly LLB 3, up for release in the next one year. There also is OMG 3 that is in the works. Housefull 5 In Theatres Housefull 5 still plays in theatres now. Have you watched the movie yet? Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates on Akshay Kumar and Housefull 5

Detective Sherdil review: Who killed the billionaire in this wannabe Knives Out feat. Diljit Dosanjh? Not suspense, that
Detective Sherdil movie review Director: Ravi Chhabriya Cast: Diljit Dosanjh, Diana Penty, Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, Chunky Panday, and Banita Sandhu Star Rating: ★★.5 The bigger mystery than the one explored in Detective Sherdil is why the lead star hasn't promoted the film. There isn't a post on Diljit Dosanjh's Instagram profile in recent times about it, but posts galore about his next theatrical release, Sardaarji 3. Detective Sherdil movie review: Diljit Dosanjh plays the titular investigator in the film. Anyway, coming back to Detective Sherdil, it's a story revolving around a detective who gets involved in a case involving a billionaire's (Boman Irani) murder in broad daylight. Suspects are his family, comprising a wife, brother-in-law, daughter and many more. Detective Sherdil appears to be more intelligent than it really is. A multitude of characters form the cast- Banita Sandhu as Pankaj Bhatti's daughter Shanti, Diana Penty as Natasha, Chunky Panday as Bodhi Mama, Sumeet Vyas and more give it a proper Knives Out setting, and that's also my pet peeve with a host of thriller films- they all inevitably end up looking and feeling the same. Housefull 5- a group of people are investigated for a billionaire's murder aboard a cruise, Vidya Balan's Neeyat in 2023, which was again about- you guessed it right- a billionaire's murder. So then, the only real innovation can happen in the big reveal. The performances Diljit's Detective Sherdil spouts one-liners, comes close to breaking the fourth wall, but there is nothing concrete, really, that he comes up with. If anything, he's an average detective. He comes up with an analysis of what could have happened at the crime scene and with the different suspects, but none of it is convincing enough. And the done-to-death storyline doesn't help either. Sagar Bajaj, Ravi Zafar and Ali Abbas Zafar have been credited for the writing. The runtime is under two hours, so thankfully, it doesn't get stretched. But the plot development is linear, with a lack of shocking twists. Diljit's cool dude energy comes off a bit pretentious at times. Diana, as a no-nonsense detective working with Sherdil, is passable. Boman Irani, as the patriarch, infuses some life into this film. Ratna Pathak Shah, as his cunning wife, is also good. The rest of the cast does their job. Chunky, as Boman's mysterious brother-in-law, makes his presence felt. Overall, Detective Sherdil is a glossy but underwhelming murder mystery that tries to wear a smart hat but forgets to fill it with real wit or suspense.

Kaalidhar Laapata trailer: Abhishek Bachchan gives life second chance with unusual friend in tale of abandonment, hope
After entertaining audiences with Housefull 5, actor Abhishek Bachchan will soon be seen in a new film titled Kaalidhar Laapata. (Also Read: Abhishek Bachchan: 'Every director I met said they didn't want to take the responsibility of launching me') Abhishek Bachchan's stills from his upcoming movie Kaalidhar Laapata. Directed by Madhumita, Kaalidhar Laapata stars Abhishek as Kaalidhar--a middle-aged man grappling with memory loss, abandonment and a lifetime of quiet betrayals. When he overhears his siblings' cruel plan to abandon him at the crowded Maha Kumbh Mela, Kaalidhar decides to disappear on his own terms. Fate intervenes in the form of Ballu (Daivik Bhagela), an outspoken, street-smart 8-year-old who's been surviving solo on India's chaotic streets. What begins as a chance meeting becomes the beginning of something far more profound. Abhishek Bachchan on playing Kaalidhar Sharing his experience working in the film, Abhishek in a press note said, "As actors, we often hope for stories that move us before they move anyone else--and Kaalidhar Laapata did exactly that. Playing Kaalidhar was not just a role, it was a revelation. He's fragile, childlike and deeply human--and through him, I got to explore parts of myself I hadn't visited in a while. His bond with Ballu--this fierce, fearless child--reminded me that the most unexpected friendships can sometimes teach us the most profound lessons." He added, "More than anything, it made me reflect on how we measure life--not in years, but in moments of connection, courage, and truth. Kaaldihar Laapata is another film in my journey that I feel incredibly proud of. Over the past few years, I've been consciously seeking stories that offer emotional depth, honesty, and something meaningful to say--and this one ticked every box. It's a story that touched my soul, and I hope it touches yours too." Director Madhumita also opened up about directing 'Kaalidhar Laapata'. "With Kaalidhar Laapata, I wanted to tell a story that feels both intimate and universal. It gave me a canvas to explore themes like abandonment, dignity, and the redemptive power of human connection. Kaalidhar is someone many of us have encountered or perhaps even been at some point--a person sidelined by life yet still glowing with a quiet resilience. Ballu becomes his mirror, his spark, his unexpected anchor. One of the most beautiful surprises of this film was witnessing the on-screen chemistry between Abhishek and Daivik--tender, unfiltered, and deeply moving. Their dynamic brings a refreshing honesty that stays with you long after the film ends. Through their journey, we've tried to reflect the idea that even in the most fractured chapters of life, beauty, meaning, and belonging can still be found. For me, this isn't just a film--it's a gentle meditation on what it means to be truly seen and truly accepted," Madhumita said. Kaalidhar Laapata will be out on ZEE5 on 4th July. (ANI)
