JoJo, however, denied all allegations and shared that the breakup had no connection to Hughes. She shared that "Chris does not have absolutely anything to do with it. Chris and I are friends. We have a very great friendship. It's a very strange, like, 'you were meant to be in my life' kind of thing. We have a very special bond."
She also revealed that she will not be sharing much about her relationship and breakup with Ebbs, as the latter has requested not to be talked about in public. She stated that "They've asked not to be spoken about. I told them, Look, that's going to make me look like I'm avoidant of the situation — I'm not."
She shared that she had been feeling like this for a while and that seeing Kath after so long after the show provided her more clarity. She continued, "When I saw them again after the show, everything that I had been feeling got validated very quickly."
