Aishwarya Rai dazzles, Aamir Khan disappoints? Rare clip of duo dancing to DDLJ song sparks reactions
Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai has mesmerised audiences over the years with her graceful dance moves in songs like Nimbuda, Kajra Re, and more. Now, an old video of her dancing to Shah Rukh Khan's iconic track Tujhe Dekha To from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, alongside Aamir Khan, has resurfaced online—and fans can't stop gushing over how good the duo looks together. The clip shows Aishwarya and Aamir dancing on stage, with Aishwarya dazzling in a pink lehenga-choli and Aamir sporting a jacket with denim jeans. The two are seen recreating the magic of the beloved romantic number Tujhe Dekha To from DDLJ with charming chemistry. The exact timeline of the event where the two performed together remains unclear.
While some fans gushed about how good they looked together, others felt that Aishwarya carried the performance single-handedly, criticising Aamir's dancing skills. One of the comments read, 'They look so good together. Should've worked in a movie together.' Another said, 'The dress and the colour are so good! Also, all the ads they did for the soft drink brands—they looked dope and had very addictive chemistry. I wanted more of Aish with Aamir.'
Criticising Aamir's dancing, one Reddit user wrote, 'He looks so awkward.' Another said, 'Aamir seems so uninterested.' A third commented, 'Aishwarya carrying the performance on her back,' while someone else remarked, 'Aamir is the second-worst dancer after Ajay among the '90s stars.' Another added, 'Damn, Aishwarya doing the mostest.'
While Aishwarya has delivered hits with Shah Rukh Khan in Devdas, Mohabbatein, and with Salman Khan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, she has never shared screen space with Aamir Khan.
Aamir will next be seen in the film Sitaare Zameen Par, which also stars Genelia Deshmukh in the lead role. Directed by R.S. Prasanna, the film is a remake of the Spanish film Campeones and features Aamir as a basketball coach training a team of differently-abled children. The sports comedy-drama is scheduled for theatrical release on 20 June. Aishwarya, on the other hand, is yet to announce his new project after Ponniyin Selvan II.

Aamir Khan breaks down recalling his decision to quit films: 'I knew what my directors' dreams and fears were, but not my own children's'
Before the release of Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan broke down in tears while speaking about a deeply personal phase in his life, one where he contemplated walking away from films to make up for the time he felt he lost with his children and family. The superstar, who has been a part of Indian cinema for over three decades, shared that the Covid-19 pandemic was a turning point that made him reassess his priorities. 'I had not given them any time' Aamir recounted how, during the lockdown, he realised just how much he had neglected his personal life in pursuit of his career. 'All these 18 years of my life were filled with passion, magic and a craze for creativity,' he said in an emotional appearance on Aap Ki Adalat. 'But I was 56, and I started thinking — what have I done with my family, my children, my ammi, and my siblings? I had not given them any time.' With tears in his eyes, the Dangal star shared that his children Ira and Junaid were already in their twenties, and he had no idea what their childhood dreams or insecurities were. 'I knew what my directors' (Ashutosh Gowariker) dreams and fears were, but not my own children's. When I realised this, I was depressed for three days.' Aamir's decision to quit and what changed his mind It was during this time that Aamir decided Laal Singh Chaddha would be his last film. He informed his family and even called Sitaare Zameen Par director RS Prasanna to step away from acting in the project. But it was his children, and ex-wife Kiran Rao, who eventually pulled him back. 'Junaid told me, 'Papa, you're being an extremist. Earlier you gave everything to films, and now you want to give everything to us. There's a middle path.'' Ira, too, expressed that he had already spent significant time with them, and they had their own lives to lead. Kiran, visibly moved, told Aamir, 'You are a child of cinema. If you leave films, you'll leave us too. Don't do that.' Their words struck a chord. Aamir Khan, Gauri & Azad Steal the Spotlight at Sitaare Zameen Par Premiere Aamir's promise: 'I will never leave cinema' When Aamir was asked if he could now promise fans that he wouldn't leave films again, the actor responded with conviction, 'I want to promise here, in this show, I will never leave the film industry. Whatever I am today is because of the affection of my fans. I am grateful to all. I thank the Almighty for granting me this. I am grateful to my country, my soil and my people.'

Aly Goni Posts Sidharth-Kiara Meme, Writes 'Enough Internet For Today'
Recently, the Laughter Chefs contestant shared an old photo of Jasmin on his Instagram stories, where she was seen wearing a white crop-top and jeans. Aly captioned the picture with, 'Kya Jasmin chapri hai (Is Jasmin tacky)," and added a laughing emoji. In response, Jasmin shared a sketch of Aly and wrote, 'Kya Aly chapri hai (Is Aly tacky)". Although Aly was playfully teasing his girlfriend on social media, the 'chapri" comment did not sit well with netizens. Many users took to Reddit to criticise Aly, expressing their disappointment in his words. Some accused him of disrespecting his girlfriend, while others labelled him a 'red flag". 'Who posts like this about their girlfriend?" one user commented. 'This guy is such a red flag, it's unreal," another added. One netizen even described them as 'a weird couple." Another user wrote, 'They both are d**b actually. It's not even funny, but still, Jasmin posted a sketch of him, but Aly posting this picture is just gross." However, fans of Aly and Jasmin came to their defence, suggesting that since the actors have moved in together, calling each other 'chapri" on Instagram might simply be a playful dare. As for Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, the couple met on the sets of Shershaah and fell in love. They got married in 2023, and are now awaiting the birth of their first child.
